M. Stewart was great at handling my case, he made himself available right away to explain the potential consequence of a reckless driving charge and put in place a strategy to ensure a good outcome for me at court.
Thanks to his plan and professionalism the charge was reduced and I only had to pay a very small fine.

We found Russell Adams through an internet search for Virginia bankruptcy attorneys and were immediately impressed with the amount of free information on his website. When we emailed for some information specific to our situation, Russ responded immediately. This set the tone for our entire relationship. He was responsive and available from beginning to end. Russ was extremely generous with his time, and we feel we got more than our money's worth.
We were very upset about needing to file for bankruptcy and felt ashamed of our situation. Russ was so kind and professional, and helped us keep a realistic perspective. He really held our hands through the whole process.
We knew we had a good one from the beginning, but it was never more clear than when we went to the courthouse to meet with the trustee. The other people there with counsel seemed unprepared, and so did their attorneys. Some of the other lawyers were not dressed professionally, didn't know the answers to the trustee's questions, and were frankly kind of unpleasant. It was clear that those attorneys "phoned it in." Russ not only looked the part, but he was the consummate professional, had every I dotted and every T crossed, and had a very collegial relationship with the trustee. Because he prepared us so well for the meeting and guided us through it with such expertise, we felt completely comfortable, which we did not expect under the circumstances.
We have already recommended Russ to several friends and acquaintances, and would do so again in a heartbeat. We feel really fortunate that we found him and he was able to work with us. Filing bankruptcy is no fun, but Russ helped us to get through it with a positive attitude and a focus on what comes next. We got a real rockstar attorney when we hired him, and are so glad he's the one we picked!

I can't say anything but positive things about Russ. I normally don't like to spend my time writing reviews on people, restaurants, etc. However, I am more than happy to write such a review for Russ. I was referred over to Russ from a friend and he was very kind and informative about the whole process. Nobody likes to have to file for bankruptcy and although it can be quite embarassing, Russ put my mind at ease. Even after the case was over, Russ still was more than happy to help me out even though he was already paid for his services. I would highly recommend Russ!

Just a "WOW" all around. Ryan Brown and his assistants were the loveliest people. I got an appointment quickly. Will and other estate planning documents were all in draft form at my first appointment (they will provide a questionnaire prior to your appointment and draw up preliminary documents). Mr. Brown is easy to talk to, he explains things brilliantly, he listens attentively, his expertise is evident.
At our final meeting I was provided with a wealth of information supplementary to my legal documents including a personalized emergency contact wallet card. Mr. Brown is incredibly thorough. I can't recommend him more highly. I just wish I had more legal needs so I could meet with him and his staff again.

After having a first ever encounter with police, pulled over for a traffic violation, and issued a speeding ticket along with a reckless driving charge, we asked around and our family friends recommended to contact Mark Cummings, at law firm Sher, Cummings, and Ellis. With the excellent assistance of Adam Collins, Mark listened carefully to our story, identified the alleviating circumstances and took careful and systematic steps to approach the case. He established and maintained communication with the police and prosecution, suggested a driving habits course to be taken, and made an excellent presentation of the case during the actual court hearing. Mark succeeded in dropping the reckless driving charge to a speed ticket and above all with clean DMV records. We would definitely recommend Mark for any case in Northern Virginia / Washington DC area.

I called Dan to get a prenup.
1. He spent 75 minutes on the phone recounting prenup basics and legal history (all of which I could've googled) then charged me $487.50.
2. I email asking for next steps. Dan emails me an engagement agreement that said "ADVANCE FEE OF $32,000.00 is due immediately as the fee advance." I tell him this is not what we agreed upon during the call and ask if it was a typo. He responds with something along the lines of 'just sign it'.
I decided to use helloprenup instead. I didn't feel comfortable moving forward after this experience.

I’m not very good at making recommendations and rarely do. But I had to express my gratitude for Mr. Dodge and his assistance. I can’t begin to convey how much of a lifesaver, estate saver, Mr. Dodge has been. My aunt died in February and left a very messy estate. Just after being appointed, the executor developed a life-threatening illness and needed to be replaced. Mr. Dodge learned of my situation from another attorney and called me on a Sunday morning to offer his help.
Despite his busy schedule and the immediate and overwhelming needs of the estate, Mr. Dodge kept the estate out of foreclosure and enabled me to honor my aunt’s last wishes. From the beginning, Mr. Dodge was very supportive and responsive. Not only was Mr. Dodge a great source of legal knowledge, but he was invested in the outcome. He and his staff were very hands-on, answered all of my questions and helped me to remain positive throughout the whole process.
He is smart. He is kind, very professional and easy to work with. I can’t imagine a better person to be in my corner.

Filed my first, and hopefully only, divorce through them. Really affordable and was cheaper than any other attorney’s in my area. The attorney appointed to me, Michael Ephraim, David Grey and their whole legal team were attentive and made sure to remind me about papers to get signed and to review which really helped me due to my ADHD. I highly recommend this firm to anyone that needs the services they provide.
