Brian and his firm were hired on the recommendation of another personal injury attorney. I was told they had a lot of expertise and knowledge that could help my case. I was not disappointed. The experts they hired, and their specific knowledge related to my case ultimately helped bring it to a good settlement. Throughout the 3+ years we worked together, Brian was always helpful and open. I could call him after hours, or on weekends and he was available to talk. He was always courteous, knowledgeable and helpful through out all the different aspects of the process. I was in a serious car accident and injured more severely than I even knew at the time. Brian helped me through the process with the insurance company and claim. We received the maximum of the other driver's policy in about 8 months. He was very kind to me and was available for a call or text any time. I still email with Brian updates on my progress even though the case is closed. I would highly recommend him as an attorney.

Let me start by saying that I was injured at work. I was a truck driver that was involved in a serious truck accident that caused me to be paralyzed and eventually caused me to lose my left leg.
This accident and subsequent workers' compensation claim involved significant work on behalf of Mr. Slappey.
I can't say enough kind things about Scott Slappey and his law firm. If you are injured, it would be foolish to not call Slappey & Sadd.

Emily (aka "Sandy") Bair is a woman of immense intellect, with the determination to do her best for her client. She is a woman of few words, but every word she speaks counts. She will never ramble on either in her office or in court. Judges respect that. Her preparation is meticulous. She will cut you off if you rattle on, to remind you that you are paying her to hear you vent, and that there are cheaper people to vent to.
My case had been going on for seven years when she took it over. I had just been through a hearing using another attorney. Having already been found in contempt, I hired Sandy Bair who appealed part of the court order and convinced the court to reduce my penalties as the action giving rise to the contempt had been performed by me immediately following and in accord with the specific and express legal advice of my former attorney.
Ms. Bair is now handling my QDRO/pension problems as my divorce was in 2004 and I still have not received the pension benefits I was awarded in the divorce. QDRO's are a very specific part of the law that is very complicated. She has done much legal research in that area and is very well-versed in the particulars of QDROs.
If you are looking for sweet and chatty, don't hire Sandy. If you are looking for an intelligent, experienced, straight-talking, hard-working, honest lawyer who can cut through legal BS- she is all that. I also think she is a female lawyer that men would be comfortable hiring.

Ms. Bair handled a very contentious divorce case and subsequent alimony modification action for me. My ex-wife tried hard to litigate numerous extraneous issues, engage in abusive discovery and take unnecessary depositions. I am an attorney myself, and she worked to avoid inflaming a hostile plaintiff and move the case to a settlement. She is known for those skills.

I retained Sana as my attorney in my child custody case for my three kids. My divorce lawyer (in another state) did nothing but rack up my bill and cost me at every turn, while doing very little for me. Sana however did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping me informed and on track, helping me to make the right decisions when I wasn’t clear. She was able to not only help me navigate around an ex wife who is less than agreeable, but ultimately won me full custody of my kids as well.
To say she helped me is an understatement. She didn’t just help me, and she wasn’t just an attorney. She was able to see through a lot of the fog that was thrown our way, and helped me achieve something I never thought possible.
From my experience not all attorneys are equal, and from what I’ve seen Sana is by far better than any attorney I’ve ever dealt with.
I would and do, highly recommend her.

Sana went above and beyond. She will get you ready and will test your arguments to help you know what you are up against. Sana cares. Attorney Rogers provided superior service. He provided representation for me in a trucking accident case. Based on my initial correspondence with him, he went to the accident site and began investigating the wreckage remaining at the site, skid marks on the interstate, and damage to the surrounding vegetation. His knowledge and skills in this area of law made the litigation process proceed in a smooth and timely manner. Attorney Rogers always returned telephone calls in a timely manner. When I got hit head on by a tractor-trailer truck I guess that was the worst day of my life. When I was introduced to Buck and the firm that was one of my best days. I am here to Thank Elizabeth Matherne for her exceptional knowledge and commitment she demonstrated in handling my case. To give a little background about the case, i was dealing with ICE who were proclaiming me as illegal resident even though i had a valid stay in US with extension which was in process, however, my i94 was still showing expiration as per my entry 5 years back. ICE was going by i94 records and I was under deportation charges but agree to wait to see response from USCIS on my extension. After i got my extension approval notice i reached out to Elizabeth to help me to drop my case ASAP and get back my bail amount. Elizabeth did not commitment any timelines as other attorneys just to retain a client but inturn she was transparent enough and spoke about the delay due to pandemic and no guarantee of time was given, but at the time gave me a assurance she will do all possible things within her reach to help. In 2008 and 2009, Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP represented my firm in a several different litigation matters. Throughout the duration of these cases, the lawyers at HKW kept me well-advised so that I could participate effectively in important decisions relating to the tactical and substantive matters at issue. Steve Hill and his team handled each of these cases in such a way that we obtained positive results for the company across the board. In one case involving claims of defamation, Mr. Hill’s team was able to convince the plaintiff to dismiss the lawsuit. While our company has used other types of lawyers, in other business ventures, this time we found our self needing a franchisee attorney for an urgent business matter. After speaking to a member of the AAHOA, I was directed to call Mr. Chavda. I made contact in the evening hours and to my complete surprise he responded immediately. I knew he was a perfect fit and wanted to hire him. From the way he and his assistant handled our first conversation of "information gathering," to the way that Mr. Chavda spoke with me, making me extremely comfortable and resolving our issues in under 10 hours. When we got into the specifics, he seemed very knowledgeable on the finer points of the agreement and explained clearly how they could affect our company. Andy walked my wife and I through a grueling two year ordeal after my wife was rear ended by a tractor trailer and suffered back and neck injuries. A business associate referred us to Andy, and hiring him was the best decision we made throughout the process. My wife's injuries proved to be more serious than we first thought. Andy guided us through the process and patiently waited for my wife's injuries to be fully diagnosed and her prognosis to be fully determined by her doctors before making a settlement demand on the insurance company. He rebuffed early offers by the insurance company to settle for amounts he knew would not be fair if my wife's injuries turned out to be more serious. He encouraged us to be patient through the process. Lindsay was soooo helpful especially in my situation with this case. I've been in a very low spot in life and Lindsay was there for me whenever I needed her whether it being about the case or talking me through my anxiety with everything thats been going on . Whenever she said something would get done it would get done when she said it would , with if not better results than what was expected . Chris did a great job representing my father as we applied for his veterans pension.
