After the traumatizing events of my accident, I was disoriented and afraid. My brother and I were left with injuries and we needed treatment but the medical bills threatened to keep us away from receiving the right care. I had no idea where to go for help. The prospect of mounting a lawsuit seemed like a hill that was too tall to climb. This law firm was recommended to my brother and me by a friend and I could not be more grateful that we came across them. From the start, they assured us they would handle our case with great care. However, they also worked with haste and got on the job immediately. They told us where to go for the best treatment while following up with us frequently, explaining every step of the way to us and keeping us well-informed. My mom and I never had to hire a lawyer before and was not sure how it worked. After someone hit my car, James Ponton walked us through the process and assured us we wouldn't owe any money and my medical records would be paid for after the case. After less than a year the case is settled and I am not only getting my medical bills paid for, but I am receiving a really check for all of the trouble. As a law enforcement officer, you meet all kinds of lawyers/ attorneys during court proceedings. I found myself, on the other side of the fence in 2022. I needed to be represented, due to being involved in two vehicle accidents and I had to have neck surgery. The way they treated me was more than I could have EVER imagined.
More importantly, two employees at the firm in particular; I have to give them their flowers … Mellissa Barfield and Monika Baez. These ladies were extremely professional. They offered answers to questions that I didn’t know to ask. They were always available to answer my questions, listen to my concerns, worries, fears, doubts and they walked me through whatever process I was going through. They responded to texts and phone calls at night and on the weekends.
Kenneth, Melissa and Monika worked hard to ensure that I was compensated well. There wasn’t a huge percentage taken away from me, like most firms do; which leave the client with da small amount. It was a pleasure working with such a personable law firm.

Without my permission or knowledge Mr. Goldberg filed chapter 7 bankruptcy which I had NOT authorized. Mr. Goldberg told me the filing could not be withdrawn. Peter and his associate attorney assisted me through my Chapter 7 bankruptcy and represented me at the trustee meeting. Very efficient. Very timely and helpful with email communication. Price was half what some of the other attorneys are charging (which I suppose MIGHT be justified in very complex cases). Mine was fairly straightforward, but it was still a bankruptcy, so to not be saddled with MORE financial burden (of an over-priced attorney) was a big relief.

I called Mr. Hirsch recently to ask for help in a potential fraud case. After spending an hour calling one department of the Atlanta police after the other and getting nowhere, I called Mr. Hirsch in desperation. Even though I am the victim of the fraud and Mr. Hirsch is a defense attorney, he seemed to care greatly for my well being and for my predicament. He provided me with a ton of good information and made me feel better about the terrible situation that I have found myself in. He talked with me for over 30 minutes even though he knew he would not be representing me. It is so nice to find a decent and caring attorney who will try to help when you are in a time of need. Lorena and her firm made everything so very easy. The entire process, from start to finish, always had either her or another member of her firm there to help make sure that everything was understood. Whenever there was a question, even during this time of social distancing, they were quick to respond the same day and often within the same hour! During the meeting with the trustee there was only one small stumbling block which was handled beautifully and corrected before the end of business that same day. Once the discharge was complete I was able to know immediately thanks to them contacting me to let me know even before the court sent me the documents. They even went so far as to help with resources and tips on how to rebuild my credit score after the discharge was complete and made sure to let me know how keep myself safe from temptations and scams related to people who've recently had a discharge. I had the pleasure of working with Alyson for nearly 4 years on a divorce case with a covert narcissist who suffers from various mental health issues in addition to his personality disorder. It was a nasty and stressful case with a completely uncooperative defendant but ultimately it ended up in a total, outstanding victory for me and I can unequivocally say that it was due in large part to Alyson being my attorney.

I interviewed a few lawyers whose names I got from other professionals. I went with David because of his bedside manner and the fact he told me how to save money through the divorce process while I felt the other lawyers just viewed me as a money stream. He gave me great advise and was always very responsive (I mean the guy would respond to my emails late into the evening and on weekends which always helped with my anxiety). I used sarah in 2017 for an amendment to my original divorce settlement. She was recommended by a friend who had used her for a contentious divorce. I did not want to use my original family attorney and I was specifically looking for a strong negotiator.
Our first meeting (paid consultation in 2016) was extremely informative. My original settlement was poorly written and I wanted Sarah’s help in amending it. Sarah laid out a game plan and was very forthright about my options. She’s strategic, wise, and excellent communicator. She gives attorneys a good reputation too as she was very honest with her billing.
I only wish I had retained her for my original settlement as I believe I would have spent half the time litigating and would have had an air tight order.
