I was arrested for a DUI in 2021 and was looking for legal representation. I sat with 2 separate attorneys before I met with Mr. Sullivan to go over my case and found very different opinions and options from them. One said that there was no way I could have the charge reduced, the second one said it was a possibility however he was not very professional as he lost my case files on numerous occasions during the time he was reviewing my case.
After much hesitation in hiring these attorneys, I went online and looked up another option and found Mr. Sullivan.
I am beyond glad and grateful that I hired Mr. Sullivan, he is extremely professional, courteous, and took an interest in my case to find the best options possible, unlike the two prior attorneys.
He was honest and communicative during the whole process. His paralegal is also very professional and helpful. Mr. Sullivan reviewed my case and was very open and honest about the possibilities.
What separated him from the rest however was the fact that he took a genuine interest in my case, provided thorough information on the charges, the possible outcomes, and guidance to ensure that I was in compliance with the courts prior to my court date. Every time I reached out to his office there was no wait time to hear back and the responses were clear and concise.
We finally appeared on the court date and in no time Mr. Sullivan was able to get my charge reduced from DUI to reckless driving which I was told by the prior two attorneys that 1. it was highly probable that it won't happen. 2. maybe but not very promising.
Mr. Sullivan is an EXCELLENT law professional and has my highest recommendation for anyone who is seeking legal representation in these matters.

I was unfortunately charged with a DUI while sleeping in a private parking lot in my car back in 2010 in Walton County. Seeing as I was only in Georgia for a limited amount of time, and had to relocate up north once my business was completed in Georgia, I needed a lawyer that was considered an expert when it came to DUI convictions. As a DUI defense attorney, Mr. Chestney was able to successfully reduce my potential SECOND (out of state) DUI charge to a reckless charge. It took time (almost three years) and patience, but I knew that it would be well worth the time spent and the money spent for his services. Mr. Chestney handled my case flawlessly. He was able to answer any question I came up with effortlessly and if he was not able to recall an answer immediately, he would then seek out help to find the appropriate answer to provide me with. DUI Charges are one of the most complicated scenarios to face in the legal system; you can find countless videos and articles on how to "beat" a DUI and there are numerous websites and marketing schemes on where to find help. Imagine yourself waiting until the last minute to complete a project for your job, a presentation for your performance review or even study for a final exam in which you have not looked over since the first day of class….this is all part of the DUI experience.
Personal Story – I had made a trip down to Alabama, from Ohio, for a friend’s wedding. On Sunday, heading back to the Atlanta Airport, I was pulled over on I-85 for speeding. The weekend was spent in the south for a friend’s wedding and according to the officer there was a need to investigate further. There is no stronger feeling of uncertainty then a police officer asking you to step out of the car…so after running through the gamut of FST the officer decided to book me for a DUI.
Now, I am business professional and travel extensively for work, both driving and flying around the intercontinental United States. Not only my job, but my career was in jeopardy. When beginning my search through Atlanta Lawyers I can remember some of them asking me “how much are you willing to spend”, “how are you going to pay”, etc. The numerous ads and marketing schemes through google soon became overwhelming.
A referral then came from a friend, which turned out to be one of the best decisions in my life. Mr. Bob Chestney and the Chestney Law Firm had been suggested. Ken is a lifesaver and he's the best attorney! I've had a very complicated immigration case that has carried on for many years. Prior to Ken, I had met with five highly recommended attorneys but they weren't capable of taking my case and didn't believe there was anything at all they could do. Asheesh has been the only immigration attorney (yes, we actually had to fire one years before) who has given us not just enough time to talk things through and understand our personal circumstances, but also gave all his attention and care while advising us as to how to proceed forward with the process. We went ahead and began the process with Sharma Law Offices to obtain my IR1 Visa.
In the summer of 2016, my husband and my father-in-law rendezvoused in the area with a goal in mind of seeking out the best immigration firm we could find. We decided that we would do “walk ins” to see how we were received by doing so without any appointment. After being turned away at some agencies, passed around at other office, finally we came upon Sharma Law Offices. We walked in during normal business hours, and were very pleased at how well we were received. We were asked to sit in the conference area while we awaited Asheesh, the attorney. He joined us, and we have a pleasant thirty minute or so conversation about our situation and some questions that we had that were intended to help us feel more comfortable with the process.
As expected, the process does take some time, and is inevitably quite complex. All of us involved knew well beforehand the level of stress that may occur throughout this process.
Just as many families going through similar immigrant applications, we constantly had a lot of questions and concerns; things we wanted cleared up in our own minds to better rest at night.
Whether we emailed or called, we were never left waiting or wondering as to what was going on and why it was going on. We always receive prompt and concise answers. I’d imagine based on our own experiences in this process, that this would be very important to people - as lack of communication can be a huge point of stress. This simply wasn’t a worry when working with Asheesh and Liliana.
Our process continued from beginning to end almost verbatim as Asheesh said it would. There were some unknown unknowns that popped up along the way, but were quickly dealt with and the process continued virtually seamlessly all the way to completion. We were within our projected completion time within a few weeks - exactly as we though from the onset.
All in all, we’d highly recommend this firm to anyone needing immigration services, as we’re first-hand proof of highly satisfied and thankful customers.

TODAY I just concluded a dui matter that has been going on since November 2017. From my initial consultation with Attorney Montgomery and her office, they provided A+ service. I was facing a difficult case and Attorney Montgomery maneuvered through the case effortlessly. The first step was saving my driver's license. We filled the paperwork with DDS and I recieved notice that the DDS would not pursue the suspension of my license. That was huge because this allowed me to keep driving throughout this entire ordeal. The next step was her office staying in constant communication regarding court dates and anything needed. After months, we decide to push the case to a jury trial. This is where Attorney Montgomery and her staff's preparation was unmatched. Throughout the entire trial which lasted over 7 hours, she never wavered and her closing arguments were something of genius. The jury deliberated for less than 30 mins and came back with a unanimous verdict of not guilty! I appreciate all of the hard work and efforts of the staff! Sarah is definitely a 5star attorney, I have a federal case out of the southern district of Georgia. She did my direct appeal and oral arguments. I hired Mr. Horlick last year after getting a second DUI within 10 years (not proud of this, obviously) and I couldn't be happier with the work he did. He did all he could to help me get the best possible outcome in this unfortunate situation and lets just say that I was very pleased with the results. Mark was recommended to me by a good friend. I did not know what to do. I got set up by some cops and hit with a false DUI charge because I decided not to blow, as I felt like they were harrassing me. I had no idea they could still charge me with a DUI! Mark left Atlanta and down to the small county I was in to fight for me. He was always easy to reach by text or phone call and very communicative throughout the process. Ok to start I have literally been using Julie Kert's services for years now, and since I found her she has NEVER let me down! I first hired Julie for a dui that I received in Cobb County almost 10 years ago. I was praying to beat the charges but because I had heard of how strict cobb County can be I knew I needed a really good attorney. I never had hired a top tier attorney at the time but because of the circumstances I knew it would be the best decision for me to do so. I received a ton of letters via mail from all sorts of attorneys and for some reason Julie's stood out to me. I went and met with her for the initial free consultation. I felt very confident with her and I could tell that she was extremely knowledgeable to the point that I decided to hire her that day. I apparently had made the correct decision because Julie was able to get the charges totally dismissed which was amazing, and at that point I knew that she was worth every single penny that I had paid her. Fast forward down the line I had a a situation come up with an ex that I had been living with who had acquired a small misdemeanor marijuana charge at the home that we shared, however even though I was not there when the incident happened the police decided to charge me as well along with the ex who had already admitted to the marijuana. I found out later that I had a warrant from those charges that I didn't know of and was arrested. I called Julie and hired her and when we went to court she was able to have all charges dropped due to the fact that the charges had already been previously charged to someone else. What I have learned in my experience is when hiring attorneys you are paying for the experience and knowledge which is what will win cases. A lesser experienced attorney might not know all of the intricacies of the law to be honest. Given Julie's history and prior work experience as a prosecutor I have no doubt that she knows both sides of the field which is what I think has been very successful in helping me with my cases. I received another DUI years later and decided to go with a friend because I thought that it was a simple case. At the time I technically had never been convicted with a DUI and it was a refusal to blow so I knew there wasn't any hard evidence. Needless to say I went to court and lost that case which should have been a very simple case. The reason being is the attorney was inexperienced. Years later I received another DUI and I decided to hire another attorney again because I didn't think I could afford Julie, however I lost the case and wound up spending more money after the case than what I would have spent if I would have just hired her. And now, what brings me to this review, I hate to admit it but for the sake of this review I will expose that that I have caught the third and final DUI I will ever catch in my lifetime and I made sure to hire Julie because I did not need this DUI to stick because three would be very bad, as if the 2 prior wasnt bad enough. This time however I really felt that I was innocent. Let me tell you that Julie Kert was able to get the DUI thrown out by the judge due to circumstances that only she in my opinion would have been able to execute due to her exemplary knowledge and experience and legal intelligence in the courtroom. It is an honor to watch her work and witness her masterful execution in the courtroom. She has literally saved my life this time around. The earlier situations I was very young and making stupid decisions and this time I really did get caught up in a bad place at the wrong time and she saved my life for me and my family! MR. Douglas Rohan is an amazing attorney. I was charged with two serious felonies. If convicted I would of faced two years jail time and possible deportation. MR. My teenaged son, while intelligent in many aspects of life, made a very bad decision and was arrested along with a couple of friends for drug possession (felony) & alcohol (minor in possession). Doug represented me in another case & delivered very favorable results so I was confident when I approached him with my son’s case.
Doug took my son and another boy’s case and represented them as co-defendents. Doug worked with a State Prosecutor in/out of court for a weeks, and in the end their cases were dismissed. The boys were required to attend drug and alcohol classes & complete community service hours. Needless to say, my wife, son & I were more than pleased with the outcome!

Our son was arrested by the Atlanta PD one evening in August 2019. I got a call at home at 1 am from the University Dean telling me he was in the Fulton County jail and had been charged with a felony. My son's entire future, reputation and education was at stake and we had no details of the events that led up to his arrest. After searching online for the best defense attorney I could find, I contacted Mr Weintraub at 7 am the following morning and he immediately went into action. He was able to get my son released the following day on a signature bond so that he would not miss any more classes. Over the next several weeks, Mr Weintraub and his fantastic private investigator gathered exculpatory evidence, interviewed witnesses and expertly navigated the case through the court system.
