I am a Teamsters local 25 member and was connected with Attorney Melissa Tobin through my union. I had a harassment order filed against me by someone I have never met. It was such a short notice my hearing was a week away. She was super easy to communicate with. She gathered all the information I had (which wasn’t much) and started to build a defense. Her strategy and knowledge with these proceedings was impressive. In fact, after presenting only one piece of evidence the judge stopped her and said he needs to hear nothing further from our defense. Also, the court officer even acknowledged in his 30 years in the system that was the fastest hearing he’s seen. Needless to say my harassment order was denied and the complainants credibility was completely destroyed.I highly recommend Ms Tobin she’s a rockstar.

This matter, involving an altercation that took place at a food and beverage business establishment. Because the altercation involved several persons, and alcohol was involved, the police were called, and I was taken into custody. It was determined that no physical injuries to any other persons occurred as a result of any of my actions, but I was charged with: (1) Felony Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon & Misdemeanor Malicious Destruction of Property. I have since remained sober from alcohol, and my life has improved. I wasn’t just any defendant; I was represented by Melissa Tobin, and that made the difference.

Eric was referred to me in November 2013, and I am very thankful for the recommendation. Eric achieved a result where it seemed no result would be possible. On two occasions, Counselor Finamore "saved my chestnuts" from the fire. Both times all he did was to make a phone call - just a phone call. But it was to the right person at the right time.
On one occasion, I sent Mr. Finamore a retainer check. He located important information which he conveyed to me quickly and efficiently.
Then . . . GET THIS . . . he returned my retainer! He helped me greatly and charged me not a farthing. INTEGRITY. Something missing in parts of America today. It is so refreshing to find a lawyer with great integrity who performs as he is asked.

I can't put into words how grateful I am for Len's services! Len has helped me with a criminal case that lasted over 3 years. He worked extremely hard for me, and his lack of self interest was astounding! The entire time I knew without doubt that every advice he gave and every action he took was in my best interest. It was crystal clear that his only motivation was getting me the best possible outcome. If I had gone with any other lawyer, I doubt that I would have ended up as well off as I am today.
He is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met and very well respected as a lawyer, yet he is humble and patient. He had no problem answering the same questions repeatedly because he was able to empathise with me. He understood that I was nervous and needed constant clarification. He also worked with me for every little decision. For every step along the way, he would thoroughly analyze the situation, give his detailed opinion on what was going on (which I almost always felt was spot on), provide the different options available, and discuss the pros and cons of each. Perhaps most importantly, he is GOOD! He knows the law inside and out (even more than most judges)! He also is very good at courtroom etiquette. He knows the subtleties of the best way to interact with judges and prosecutors (again always keeping my best interest in mind).

Leonard defended me in a criminal trial. He was shockingly good, I don't think I've ever seen someone argue a case better in person or on tv. I had the detectives come to my house months later to ask me who my lawyer was because they were so impressed. These cops see lawyers almost every week and for them to come to my house and ask me who he was because they wanted him to represent them, the detectives said without a doubt he is going to do big things in the future because of how young he still is. In short, I was found not guilty in a case where things were stacked against me. I'll for ever be greatful and feel blessed I found him to repress me. I would recommend him highly, trust me it doesn't get any better

I have been represented by Mr. Gioia on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an attorney that they can trust and feel confident in. Mr. Gioia always made himself available to me, taking my phonecalls from jail, and he kept me aprised of any and all updates to my cases. He negotiated everything i asked for, on my behalf, spectacularly. From bail review hearings and conditions, to then putting in motions, and eventually the plea deals I ended up accepting. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Patrick Gioia went above and beyond to assure that I got the best legal service humanly possible. From researching supreme court cases that could assist in my defense to checking in on me in between court dates to giving me a dress shirt to look more presentable in court Patrick made sure I had the best chance I could at getting all my charges dropped and this enormous effort on his part ammounted in just so. He was even able to get my negligent operation charge dropped that I received along with my OUI charge, something that is very hard to do due to the vague wording of the offense making many driving scenarios fit under its description. Patrick was very well spoken in every single one of my court cases and took the time to prepare written statements and memorize then to the dot. On top of this Patrick did this all pro bono, as he was court appointed to me, demonstrating that he was very dedicated to his work. Additionally Patrick was always 100% honest with me and explained to me thoroughly every option I had before each of my court appearances so that I knew my choices, and he always allowed me to ultimately pick the course of action taken but never without making sure I was 100% up to speed. Overall I was very happy and lucky to have had Patrick as my lawyer and I would definitely seek his legal counsel again if I was ever to be charged with another crime, even if were to cost me a substantial fee. I highly recommend his counsel to anyone seeking legal advice or representation.

I​ always thought that people who had issues with the police must have done something to deserve it. I learned the hard way that its not true. I experienced ongoing harassment from the ​​Waltham police who seemed to take advantage of ​my ​complicated family situation​.​ ​I am an African American and a single paren​t who actually believed that I have rights. ​Silly me. The police used every opportunity ​to attempt to get​ me​ into trouble​ repeatedly​ all in retaliation for my filing internal affairs complaints due to their misconduct.​ I was fighting a losing battle. ​ This happened in front of my family and friends. They all just said move.
​Erin Opperman walked into my life and gave me hope. In my opinion My prior att​orne​y was afraid of the ​District Attorneys​ office.​ The charges were bogus.
Not Erin. After Erin got involved no additional bogus charges were ever filed. She had to fight for several years​, not months, years​ , before the case was finally dismissed​.
This include​d ​Erin ​getting ​my​ case transferred to another venue. ​The DA was super angry with her for fighting so hard for my freedom. She had to file motion after motion after motion. She recognized what I was up against and stood by me. Erin refused to let them rail road me. Anyone that is looking for a lawyer who will fight for you as if you were her own family, then she is the person that you want representing you. I was a difficult client, I always calling her crying asking why me? She listened patiently and calmed me down. I thank God that she did not withdraw from my case when things got worse. I would have been convicted of a crime that I did not commit. I thank God that I met Erin, she is lawyer that gives 100% to her client. I would hire her again if I am ever in need of a excellent lawyer who will be committed to my case.

I was accused of sexual assault after becoming involved with a prostitute. I was accused of horrible crimes. Erin was so nice and made me feel comfortable even though we had to discuss these awkward and horrible charges. She knew that this person was lying to protect herself. We prepared for trial several times in her office and eventually my charges were dismissed. She is so kind and respectful and also very aggressive in court.

If you google the firm Atwood and Cherny you would see an experienced firm with attorneys who represented some high profile cases. One of the cases being the Richard Sharpe case in which the firm represented a Mrs. Karen Sharpe. When we went to the firm for our "consultation" we expected it to be hopeless considering the divorce predicament we had fallen into. Cate was the attorney assigned to our case and through the entire proceedings has been professional, reasonable and encouraging to avoid court rather then go to court. Her knowledge of the court system and her experience with the probate courts made the modification process extremely easy. She not only handled the paper work but her unbiased perspective helped ease tensions from the very unprofessional opposing counsel at the Law Offices of Nicastro in Roslindale. As the opposing counsel purposely avoided Cate in order to up their own clients fees and fired up their client rather than diffuse their clients anger Catharine stayed poised and professional with every contact. One of the most challenging things about being an attorney must be having to deal with opposing counsel and Cate did it in a way that other attorneys would admire. When the bill came it was always a shock, but for the positive. I expected with the amount of emailing, contacting and back and forths from the opposing counsel that the bill would be much higher. Cate and her firm were fair in their minutes and hours. The opposing counsel would send 4 page letters which Im sure would cost the other side hundreds and yet, Cate would merely reply with 1-2 page letters that ignored the he/said she said and stuck to the points at hand. At one point we emailed Cate a long lengthy letter and rather then draft something imeediately that she knew would anger the opposing counsel she asked us to think about our actions and understand the consequences. Once we thought about things we changed a few decisions which resulted in larger gains. We first went to Cate because our previous attorney was a complete fraud and had cost us thousands in damages. Cate, not only made sure the damage didnt get worse but she remedied some of the most important issues we had with the opposing counsel. Because of Cate and Atwood and Cherny's counsel we ended a 6 month battle that would have resulted in thousands of attorney fees and endless court battles. We cannot thank the firm and Cate enough for their patience and courage. I am amazed that this firm was exactly as they had advertised. They are by far an amazing firm and although I cannot post what my final bill was I can definitely tell you, it was nothing compared to what we thought it would be.

I hired Leslie as a first-time home buyer. Neither the seller or I had real estate agents, so Leslie handled all the details, starting with the P&S and everything else through the closing. She was knowledgeable and very responsive in answering my questions (I had a lot). I place a high value on customer service, and Leslie definitely took care of me. Kelly is a great attorney whose primary focus, I believe, is divorce law. As a favor to me she assisted me with a business dispute where a lawsuit had been filed against me. She successfully filed a motion to dismiss the plaintiff's complaint within 3 days of my being served with the complaint and the Plaintiff's motion for an attachment. The complaint was dismissed with prejudice on her motion (which was opposed by two attorneys hired by the plaintiff).
I contacted Kelly because more than one of her clients had told me she was an excellant attorney.

I was first referred to Donna Turley and Glickman-Turley by my now deceased partner during the sale of my condo in Boston, in January, 2012. As a result of some of life's "unexpected twists and turns", we were prompted to consequently sell the townhouse that we had purchased together, and so we naturally called upon Donna and Company to execute that transaction, as well. The Commonwealth mistakenly charged me with a labor violation and issued a fairly large fine against me. While this was truly a case of mistaken identity / paperwork not being filed, I didn't want to take any chances.
Sidenote: When in doubt, consult an attorney.
I did some research regarding the top labor attorneys in the Boston area and Greg's name (along with his partner Neil Cohen) kept coming up. I contacted him, immediately got through, and we were off and running. After a 45-minute Zoom consultation, I officially retained his legal services.
Could I have resolved this on my own with the Commonwealth? Maybe, but it would have taken far longer and been a huge headache.
Greg was extremely detailed in his correspondence on my behalf with the Commonwealth and all of our documentation was promptly (not to mention appropriately) filed. The Commonwealth moved slowly, but Greg was relentless in his pursuit to resolve my case. To that end, he was also gracious and reassuring when communicating with me while remaining transparent about the process.
Once the matter was finally resolved (in my favor) and the violation was dismissed, we had a final meeting to wrap-up and review his billing. Needless to say, Greg is an amazing lawyer, a good guy, and an honest man in terms of doing right by his clients.
I hope to never need the advice of an Employment/Labor attorney again, but if I do ... I'm calling Greg Lucyniak.
