The legal system is a daunting and truly scary realm for most, but for those of us that live a law abiding life - ignorance can be detrimental when you find yourself a victim of false allegations. John is more than a lawyer, he is a counselor of the law, who focuses on the individual client and expects that you (the expert in your own life) take charge of your case with his guidance and thus fight alongside him and not just hide behind him. From the initial meeting, John showed me professionalism, respect and ethical behavior. These standards were prevalent throughout the handling of my case.
Dedication is a very powerful word, but cannot truly describe John's targeted focus and tenacity. While I had never dealt with a lawyer before, I did call many who instead of offering their support via guidance of the law, belittled and terrified me. John was real, and from the beginning set high, but tangible expectations of what it takes to win or prove a case. He dedicated his life to me during the every step of the preparation of my case. He spent over 10 hours of his day with me prior to trial and was prepared for whatever came our way.
I would highly recommend John to anyone seeking help in the most important decisions of your life. Do not place your trust or invest your money on just anyone, call him and get his guidance, you'll know right away that you can feel confident with him as an experienced attorney. His trial assistant Megan is a superb asset to his firm and like John fully involves herself in every case, at least this was true of mine. I met with several attorneys prior to selecting John Pineau. John was by far the most understanding, straight forward and non-judgmental of them all. My case was very uncommon and a difficult one to take on. John was with me every step of the process and we worked for over three years on my case! The way John prepares for each hearing is absolutely incredible, he leaves no angle unthought-of. I felt confident at every hearing knowing that we were always 10 steps ahead of the prosecutor. John Pineau is one of the best advocates for a client I have experienced in my legal career. There is no case too simple or none too complex for his representation. John does his homework and approaches every stage of the proceedings prepared and ready to do battle for his client.
His experience ranges from first degree murder cases to sex assault cases. He is one of the best I have seen when it comes to defending persons accused of any type sex offense. He is non-judgemental and will work every case with the effective representation every person accused deserves. When you choose John Pineau you have an advocate who gets to know you, cares about you and will go to bat for you. I have worked with some of the best and John Pineau ranks up there with all of them.

I am an activist for the poorest, least represented people in society and I have known Nancy since she was a public defender. She is a brilliant tactical attorney at trial and she is very well received when it comes to negotiating positive outcomes with district Attorneys. Nancy has a compassion and empathy that really tunes her in to the clients personality and she very quickly grasps the critical dynamics of relationships and circumstances of a case and she sorts out the truth and presents it to the court in persuasive terms. not everyone is innocent, and Nancy is very compassionate and she negotiates outcomes that are fair and positive for the client and the court. Nancy keeps people out of jail and minimizes their time in the system and the system can be very unfair without Nancy to guide you through it. She has also gone to bat for people on probation to be allowed to use medical marijuana with a prescription, particularly people with HIV who only get relief from marijuana use and nothing else. It took a lot of guts for her to advocate for changes to probation in Boulder County to allow people with medical conditions to use medical marijuana, it was a very edgy subject at the time. Nancy has worked on important cases and important issues without regard for her personal compensation many many times. I recently learned when I sent her a new client that she is finally a partner in a firm and I want to say it is about time Nancy got PAID! I have extensive experience with very tough people in the justice system in Colorado, I know the group of top attorneys in Colorado very well, and Nancy is absolutely the best. If you are in trouble, she is your savior, I've seen her work her magic for everyone I have ever sent to her and there have been many. Thanks for everything you do Nancy. Peace

I interviewed 4 attorneys to handle my case. The first 3 attorneys spent 15-20 minutes with me on the phone explaining what I was facing and how they would defend me; each then invited me to their office for a 30 minute meeting, presumably at which point they would ask for my signature for their representation.
Nancy spent an hour with me on the phone without any charge or expectation that she would represent me. She explained every detail of what I was facing and what was the most likely successful outcome. She was far more detailed than the others. She allowed me to ask a lot of questions. And when we were done with the phone consultation, she said, "I know you're talking with other attorneys. If you want to proceed with me, let me know." Choosing Nancy was easy because she gave me her best without expecting anything in return.
As Nancy represented me throughout the process, I got the same treatment. She communicates in a very timely manner. She understands how to navigate the system to her clients' benefit. Knowing that a court-ordered treatment program would be part of the judge's decision, she got me going in that early. She took a personal interest in my family situation. Everything played out as she said it would, and I received the best outcome that was possible given the situation.
I am very thankful that I found Nancy to represent me in this unwanted situation. I would recommend her to anyone facing similar.

I had an extremely high conflict divorce. During the nearly year long nightmare, Barre went above and beyond in handling my case. While my ex was largely able to isolate my young children from me for the entire divorce, in the end my young children got a better parenting plan than was recommended by the PRE and it will ramp up to 50/50. I only wish my ex had hired a competent lawyer, as her lawyer made things far worse than just the malicious behavior of my ex did.

I have a very high-conflict post-divorce situation involving my vulnerable children. My family and I call Barre, "our Super hero." Barre is a human being first with a heart of gold for children and families. As I was a wreck, Barre "cut to the chase" and helped me navigate a very emotionally difficult situation. My daughter was on death's door. By listening to Barre, we won EVERYTHING in court. My daughter is alive and thriving. Unbelievable to me given the fire power of my ex and his willingness to lie and use my kids as pawns. I would not want to play against Barre in a game of chess, but having him on my team was life saving. I am forever grateful to Barre and his partner, Amy for giving me my daughter her life back, my sanity back and renewed sense that no matter what, LOVE and TRUTH (with Barre as my attorney) will win!!

I have worked with several different attorneys over the last 10 years dealing with parenting and post-divorce issues. Barre has been the best by far. He is level-headed, strategic, informative and a good communicator. He will tell you like it is in his experience, give you options, solid advice and is aggressive when necessary. It is also clear that he does not need to "pad my bill" by trying to stir up unnecessary billable hours. He has advised me on best, and least-expensive options. I highly recommend him.

Mark Johnson is not only an excellent attorney he is also a good man. He educated me thru the entire process from receiving a federal grand jury subpoena all the way to trial. We dug in and fought the government all the way and let me tell you it was not easy. When faced with a situation like this you and your attorney need to be able to focus and stay focused. Mark got to know our case inside and out. When we finally got to trial he was well prepared and had me as prepared as possible to sit as a defendant in the federal court system. He not only allowed but encouraged me to participate in the defense of my case. When I had a thought or suggestion he listened as though I was a 30 year veteran in criminal defense. After 30 months of brutal hell my life returned to normal with a not guilty verdict. I can tell you this, I hope I never have to experience any thing like this again, but should myself or any of my loved ones need a top shelf criminal defense attorney I know who I will call. I remember Howard Bittman defending me on a few occasions some years back. (20+ plus years ago)I was charged with 8 felonies. Yes, 8 felonies all at the same time. This man saved my life. He was able to get 6 of the felony charges dismissed. I did 60 days home detention and payed some restitution for my last 2 . My friends have used him over the years with awesome results. I thank him for being there when I needed him most. He is the best attorney in Boulder County by far!

Yvan Murad persuaded me to start my application for permanent residence (Green Card) via the "Extraordinary Abilities" route when many other famous, "highly experienced" and extraordinarily expensive lawyers in the Denver area told me that "it is the most difficult and virtually impossible route and you will most probably not qualify." It took Yvan and me a lot of work to prepare the case, but eventually the case was approved smoothly and without any problems. My family and I have already obtained the green cards - Just 12 month after I began to work with Yvan.
I believe Yvan is one of the very few lawyers who work the profession not for money but to actually help people. While other lawyers did not want to take the risk of refusal and the enormous amount of work which an "Extraordinary Abilities" case implies, and they prefer to "earn" their exuberant fees for a minimum amount of efforts, Yvan feels compassion for his clients. If he thinks you have a case with a potential to be won, he will take your case and work on it as much as it will take to succeed. If he thinks you do not have a chance to win the case, he will honestly tell you that he can not help, and so will not take your money. He is one of the most honest people I ever met. I turned to Jon for some outside-the-box thinking on an interesting problem related to multiple (potential) foreclosures. He was not judgmental about the situation, but instead quickly turned his focus on how to help, given the very difficult circumstances. I wish words could express how thankful I am for Justin Berg and his work as my attorney on my construction defect case. If I could give him more stars, I would. I highly, highly recommend Justin Berg.
I built a house that had numerous and significant construction defects, and I have had the extreme good fortune to work with Justin for about four years to get my house repaired and hold the builder accountable.
Among other things, Justin is an expert on construction contracts, construction defect cases and insurance coverage, so he was able to help me in all three areas. When the defects in my house started appearing, Justin knew exactly what to do. If I had tried to begin this process and/or go down this road on my own, I would not have done it correctly nor would I have gotten the results I wanted.
Justin is incredibly knowledgeable about the law in general and business litigation, insurance coverage, construction defect and construction contract cases specifically, so he guides us down the path that is the most legally effective and financially responsible. He is strategic, patient, honest and ethical. He is very smart, and he is great at explaining complex legal issues. He always has his clients’ best interests in mind. I know attorneys are expensive, and Justin is worth every penny and so much more. Justin will assess your case and create the most effective strategy given the facts of your situation just as he did with mine.
Justin has cared as much about my case as I do. He earned my trust with his extensive knowledge about the law, his willingness and ability to explain it to me, the fact that he was very conscientious about what the lawsuit was costing me, and by genuinely having my best interests at heart. I was very anxious, and Justin was incredibly patient about answering all my questions so I could understand what was going on. I really can't emphasize enough my appreciation for my recent experience working as a client with Brad Peterson representing me. He assisted me in a very challenging time with litigation relating to my professional services business.
Brad is rock solid. He is thoughtful; when he considers a course of action, he will have thoughtfully viewed matters from a perspective of someone looking in from the outside. He will not tell you just what you want to hear, but vastly more helpfully, he will offer insight and concrete direction and a suggested course of action. You should listen and soon enough, I think you will learn that his counsel and recommendations are wise, and restrained and invaluable.
At the same time, Brad and his firm are absolutely there to take matters to the mat if the other side is unwilling to be reasonable.
I am accustomed to the costs of lawyers and his talent is not inexpensive. But the billings I received were absolutely fair to me. I found them completely reasonable.
I think anyone who selects Brad to help them (and whom he agrees to help), will never look back and will soon enough realize how fortunate they were to secure his representation. I remain so grateful for his consummate professionalism and effective representation.

I was injured at work and had questions about how my workers' compensation claim was being handled by the insurance company. Even though I have had comp claims before, I have never hired a worker's compensation attorney. I searched the internet for lawyers and eventually interviewed Chris Parks. He agreed to take my case and I'm really glad he did! From the very beginning Chris was open, honest and explained the legal process in a straightforward way. Unlike some other lawyers I've heard horror stories about, he did not try to wow me with legalese, or tell me what to do. Instead, he discussed all the major issues with me and let me make the important decisions based on his advice. I am very happy with the way my case was resolved and I have recommend Chris to others.
