My ex wife and I agree on basically nothing. But I think we can both agree that this lawyer should never be near any child. First, she is terrifying to children. Second, she made our direct communication and negotiations- which presumably would be the best case scenario for the children when you have two responsible, engaged parents- even harder. She routinely expressed notions on behalf of the children that they clearly never wanted. She uses foul, aggressive, abusive language- including and especially the N word. Documented and verified- she doesn't deny it and even worse, defended it. More details upon request. I feel a moral obligation to make sure that this AFC does not come in contact with children- use any one other than this person. Based on other reviews on the web, I can see I'm not the only one.

When I was falsely accused of abusing my ex girlfriend I was dragged into Court. We just had an argument when I left our apartment, next thing I knew I was being arrested. I met Mr. Fields in criminal court where he had me out of jail with no bail within hours. Then next day I was served with a petition for family court. I called Mr. Fields and after a brief discussion I asked him to represent me in family court as well. I'm glad he agreed. One week later we met for two hours where he told me what to expect in the coming days and weeks in the criminal and family court case. I will admit, I called Mr. Fields about 5x's a week with questions due to my nervousness. Despite not being his only client, Mr. Fields was always courteous and professional. Many times I left the conversation laughing. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Mr. Fields always knew how to put me at ease. To make a long story short, Mr. Fields was able to prove that my ex lied about the entire situation. The family court case was dismissed after a quick trial. The criminal case on the other hand took a little longer, but this was not due to Mr. Fields. The charges were eventually lowered to a misdemeanor, then a violation. I'm so glad Mr. Fields believed in me and my story and insisted that I reject each offer. In the end the case was dismissed. Thank you Mr. Fields. This was my first and hopefully last experience with the legal system. I was a complete wreck during this ordeal and don't know how i would have gotten through it without Mr. Fields professionalism and compassion.

My parents divorce case has been going on for years. Ava has not acted professionally with emails or phone calls. As the child involved in this case, divorce is heartbreaking situation for everyone involved, ESPECIALLY when one parent is mentally ill and more communication is needed in order to legally end things. She has the ability to file a motion to help my mother and has not. I would love to change this review when my parents’ divorce is finally over after this 5 year long battle.

After waiting for six years to settle my case, I received not one iota. My car accident was mishandled and I was lied to about my trial. My attorney misled me in many ways. He had me go trial where the defendants and witnesses ridiculed me and defamed my character. This is the greatest humiliation, profound betrayal and pain I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I will never forgive or forget this experience. It has truly impacted me emotionally and psychologically as a human being. If I could rate a zero for this firm I would wholeheartedly. Attorney Alexander Sanchez is an AMAZING attorney. He treats his client like family. He is very reasonable with the fees that he charged for each individual cases. He is there for you from the beginning of your case to the end. All you have to do, is tell him the truth to the best of your knowledge and he will solve your problem no matter how difficult it seem. Once you hired him you can rest assured that you will be alright. God put him here to help all who retains him. I am not saying there are not good attorneys out there, but I guaranteed you that you will not regret hiring him. Sadness and tears comes at the beginning of your problem and joy comes after your first initial contact with Mr. Sanchez, He is by far one of the the nation top attorney. If you go to the doctor you don't want one with 10 or less years of experienced, you want the best and that is what Mr. Sanchez is, just simple the best with over 38 years of experience. After he fired a disgruntled employee, a bad review review suddenly spoeared written by a do called Milton. Any good real estate lawyer would know that that is a fake review. I worked with Balwan to buy my home recently (2014). Here are my critcisms of Balwan:
1). He is very unresponsive. I've emailed and called after day after day to get the deed of my house. He still hasn't responded. But he still has the audacity to contact me for money! Talk about lack of professionalism.
2) You have to badger him and track him down to have your questions answered.
3). He is very incompetent. I was worried about when I should deposit the down-payment for my house. He was telling me that I need to pay the down-payment in the house in matter of a week at that time. I was like, that can't be possible. I had my 17-year old son read the contract, and in the fine lines, my son found that I didn't have to pay the down-payment for another month. I was like shocked and correct Balwan Singh on the fact and the seller of my house had also pointed to the same line . Balwan regretted his mistake.
Conclusion: Do not do business with this lawyer.

All I have to say is he let the statue of limitations get passed due on my accident. Since he never sued that means I cant get money on my case. I have a good case that wasnt my fault. The other car was responsable. I had to have surgery. Mister Thomas didnt want to go to court because he kept saying it costs money and he was talking to the insurance company and the other guy only had a little bit of insurance so it wasnt worth it. But he owes me to fight for me because he is my lawyer. Thats why I hired him. If it was easy I would of taken care of the case myself. But I dont know the law. But I know It wasnt my fault and I should of gotten paid. I am trying to figure out what to do about this. If anybody has advise please help me or if you have another lawyer who knows what to do please let me know.

I'm so glad I went with this firm! I've been in several car accidents—thankfully only two of them resulted in serious injuries. The first happened many years ago, and I called a high power law firm (who shall remain nameless) to pursue my case. They were great at first but then rarely got back to me or let me know what was going on, and when I finally met with the lawyers they told me that because they didn't have enough evidence my case had very limited potential and encouraged me to settle for a small amount. I thought that's just the way the law works, but through working with Mr. Lavin the second time around I've discovered there's more to it than that. First of all, the old firm told me that nothing happens right away and that I need to wait. This is true BUT there are certain things that need to be done right away, like PRESERVING EVIDENCE. I learned this during my first meeting with Mr. Lavin, when he called in his employee to send him to the intersection where the accident happened. They managed to get surveillance video from the Duane Reade on the corner which recorded the entire accident! When the insurance company refused to settle my case for a fair amount Mr. Lavin brought my case to trial, and that surveillance video ended up making a I ended up getting WAY more money than I ever hoped for. My advice to anyone injured in a car accident is to make sure to hire a firm that specializes in accident cases! Ask them what they are going to do to progress your case TODAY. And if you're in the NY area, you can't do better than the Law Office of Thomas J. Lavin!

During the consultation he was nice and knowledgeable I paid him his fee and we proceeded from there. However, once he received his 1500$ he was no longer that nice and knowledgeable it's as if he was busy and running on 2 hours of sleep. So one day his secretary called me and informed me that my soon to be ex-husband was not served and had relocated I asked his secretary where is the paperwork at? She was unable to answer the question so Reginald some how got on the phone and I asked him the same thing. He responded what are you talking about so I had to get more specific is the paperwork with you or is it still with the sheriff. Reginald answered it's in Pennsylvania. 2nd incident I called to check if the paperwork was delivered to my soon to be ex-husband and his secretary replied I told you it was but you didn't seem to understand me.I replied, okay, I don't do the back and forth and I don't mean to be a female dog about things but I need to understand if he was already served or not. Being that the question was not able to be answered by phone I had to go there personally to get things straight. I got there Reginald claimed I cursed his secretary out and I was acting like a person from the street and went as far to say that the $1500 I spent is nothing and he has people paying him 15k and 20k to retain him. He's the type of person that once he gets his money don't ask him questions or follow up on your case and that to me is bad business . Also, if you are not spending 15k or better your money is not worth much so you will not get the same respect or feedback that a person spending that amount would .

My case was a tough case.

There were many road blocks and stop signs along the way, but this lawyer persevered and found a way to get to the next destination.

She is a mediocre unprofessional lawyer, you have to pay in advance for the consultation and then she does not answer your calls or messages, she does not help. It’s a waste of time, she has a bad attitude. I do not recommend her.

My family and I have been waiting for four years. They took our money and since then we didn’t hear back from them. I’ve called all the numbers associated with the office, no one is able to provide me with any information nor are they able to transfer me to Julie.
For you and your family’s sake find someone else who will treat you and your family with respect and take into consideration your time.
Also, before you pay them anything make sure they give you Julie’s phone number or the manager’s number. Not the office number. They are very useless when it comes to transferring messages to Julie or provide useful information.

Had a case that was handled very badly. Dragged out very long and the main lawyer was disrespectful as well. Told our agent that our case wasn’t worth what he was getting paid yet he was the one who set the price and charged additional later which was paid.

Hired him for a divorce in 2021, it’s 2024. Months turned into Years of trying to call, email, and request my money back. He was always on time, constantly in touch with me, I never had to leave more than one message, and he called me right back in a matter of few hours at most. I’ll be totally honest with you guys I’ve never met a lawyer, that actually fought for his client as if it was his family member, or better yet as if he was fighting for his own freedom . This man is nothing short of amazing at his job & he definitely knows the law inside out . I wouldent recommend putting my money in anyone’s hands if it’s not Nelson de La Cruz . Not to mention he’s affordable & willing to work with you . At the time I first retained him I was incarcerated in federal jail on charges of racketeering conspiracy & extortion conspiracy held without bond . Within 30 days of Nelson bein my lawyer he was able to secure me a bail & get me back home to my family . Throughout the duration of the case Nelson’s communication with both me and my loved ones was always priority and we loved that about him . His knowledge and his delivery with what he brings to the table as an attorney makes him that much more valuable to you as his client & of course to your case furthermore, securing the BEST possible outcome . In conclusion with my criminal history bein very extensive & other factors ( such as evidence against me ) I did ultimately decide to pled guilty. But the fight did not stop there with Nelson . If you are in a domestic violence situation and need a lawyer do not use Aubrey. I told him and his legal team my DV marriage situation. He did absolutely nothing to help me and charged me $2500. I am completing the divorce myself because 14 months later his paperwork is wrong and it’s probably because I did them myself. Last time I spoke with him was September of 2022. Mr Ramirez was excellent in his initial consultation, but after that he ignored our calls and texts for 5 days. Told us we should not sign the contract but told our broker and REO we should, and then we never heard from him again. Of course, the property owners did not bother to wait for us as we tried to sort out this issue with Mr Ramirez so we missed out on a great deal and had to scramble to find a different lawyer.
