When I first met Mr. Mckeny I knew right away he was straight to the point and extremely nice. I knew that he was who I needed considering the circumstances. He filed for Emergency Custody of my daughter and it was granted. Within a little over a week we were in court and he was excellent. He talked circles around my ex and she didn’t know what to do or say. He helped us come to an agreement and I was granted custody of my daughter because her mother didn’t want to go too court considering everything that was going on.

I have had the pleasure of finding and then knowing Trippe McKeny for a good number of years now! Not only has he been able to help me with my own personal matter, but also many other family members and friends too.. His carrring knowledge and support for his clients' cases and my familes' has made legal issues a more barible. The personal attention by Trippe McKeny gives his clients the strength and courage to stand up and fight for what is right. Personlly, Trippe had helped supporting and advicing myself on the matter of on going all out battle involving my daughter and an unwilling EX...(im sure you have heard the stories of how fun that can be). , .but his assurance of what is right ...always helped me to fight harder. Trobich failed to show up for numerous court dates; misled us and lied about doing so; ultimately completely dropped the ball in our case. Finally settled out of court for his wrongdoing. He got off way too easily.

This man fought for me! Had felony charges that I didn't do and DA wanted me to take a plea. Trobich said he had my back, and he did. We took it to trial and the jury came back "not guilty" on everything. He took the DAs witnesses apart on the stand.

I have no idea how Robert Trobich is "just" a public defender. He should be working for a top firm in North Carolina. I had a troubled past when i was younger. I was arrested at age 16 for possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor. Arrested at age 17 for Felony and misdeameanor charges. Arrested at age 18 for carrying a concealed weapon, and unlawful concealment, both misdeameanors. I am currently 21 years old and do not have ANYTHING on my record. I was found not guilty, received a deferred judication and dismals for every charge brought against me. If i was given just any lawyer I'm sure i would of spent time in jail for the charges i was accused of. Robert Trobich took the time to listen to all the facts in the case, not just the evidence prosecutors brought forth. He fought for my cases and in turn i am living a life free of my past. Nothing is on my record, if you google my name all of my mugshots are erased from the internet. I cannot stress how much of an amazing lawyer and man he is. I would trust him with any ANY legal issues i would have in the future or strongly suggest him to others.

I was so thankful that I had Ms. Julianna help me with my case. She seemed to really care about me and the problems that I was facing. My (now ex) husband and I were married for almost 30 years. I raised our 3 babies but never had much of a job outside of the home and am disabled now so I can't work. My ex refused to help me out with money. I had a really hard time with money and Ms. Julianna worked with me and gave me a payment plan and didn't make me pay a crazy amount of money up front. Ms. Julianna was my lawyer for a temporary alimony hearing before a judge and for a separation agreement for all of our assets. She did an amazing job at the temporary alimony hearing. She got my husband to pay me a monthly amount that I am really happy with and also got my husband to pay all of her attorney fees!

Julianna was the second attorney I had for my case and I could not have been more happy. My wife (now ex wife) moved in with her parents in SC and took our baby girl with her. The first attorney I met with told me I was SOL b/c my wife was a stay at home mom and moved in with her family. When I met with Julianna she said we should immediately file for custody and fight for my daughter to return to NC. She was professional, kind and very responsive to my (probably annoying) emails and phone calls We had a custody trial and everything. Julianna thoroughly prepped myself and my witnesses. We felt very prepared for the trial. She asked us great questions and asked the baby's mother even better questions - she definitely "put her on spot" several times. You could tell the judge and the other attorney respected her. In the end, the judge ordered that my baby girl return to NC and gave me full custody of our daughter (unless my wife returned to NC - then it was 50/50 custody). I could not have been more happy with Julianna as an attorney and have recommended several of my friends go to her for their divorce.

Julianna is extremely nice, easy to work with. She was a breeze to communicate with (very accessible, returns calls and emails, etc) I struggled with the category ratings because she is trustworthy, responsive, etc- but I think it depends on what you hire her for. She was my attorney in a high-conflict custody case, and it became apparent, rather quickly, that she was not comfortable in a court room. It may have been lack of experience, maybe it was nerves having to face a very experienced & tough opposing attorney- but she struggled with questioning when I was on the stand. The judge did not allow me to answer most of her questions because of their phrasing. Documents that I needed as evidence were not submitted to the court through the proper channels and were deemed inadmissable. She lacked the "quick thinking" on her feet, and overall confidence needed in that setting. She does understnd the law, and she does care about her clients. But if you find yourself going to court, I may consider you find an experienced trial attorney with a proven record.

Suzi Canali asked me on the day of court, if I would consider an amendment to my summons & then lied about changes SHE NEVER MADE. Then tried to strong arm me into signing. I didn't. She finally asked me to agree to a Voluntary Dismissal & then did not have her client follow their part of the agreement. She then told me to find a lawyer if I didn't like it. Thats when I decided the NC judicial system is a bunch of worthless hillbillies. Safealliance is a sham. Pathetic!!!!

Stay away. These are the least qualified lawyers I’ve ever encountered. Their company is completely devoid of any shred of professionalism. I have wasted months being strung along with nothing at all to show for it. They’re lower than any other people in professional roles I’ve ever come across. I’m raising my concerns now. Absolute worst attorney one could have. I was incarcerated for a couple of court dates. So instead of allowing the court to know, he let me get 2 Fta's. I've been out of jail for 2 months now and called him daily and now at least weekly, yet Juwan Seegers puts no interest in getting them stricken. I'd gladly turn myself in and pay the bond for the charges that are more or less legit, but not these fta's. That's an automatic $5k that I don't have to pay to bond myself out. On top of it all, he's been "working on it" for 5 months. 5 whole months and he has yet to get those warrants stricken? I was locked up and wasn't take. To court so I couldn't have showed up. He could have it stricken in a matter of min. Yet he doesn't seem to care about me.he returns NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. He hasn't spoken 2 words to me since he was appointed my attorney. I am going to seek him to be departed. I am guaranteed the same privileges whether paid or not and the same time and efforts. All of which I've been denied. So save your money and find a lawyer who actually cares for their clients..

Hired Mr. Seegar back in February to take my case. Literally ran him down outside of the courthouse. He said he would take care of it. After that day I didn’t hear from Mr.Seegar ever again. My case didn’t actually go to court until October, he moved my court date at least 5 times. Every single time I asked for an update I had to call and get an update. They never called or emailed me ever. I need seen customer service like this in my life. Last month I had to call again(his receptionist) to get an update and they told me my case was done, I then asked when were they going to tell me it was. She had no answer. So I asked for Mr. Seegar to give me a call back as soon as possible. It took me calling back 3 times for him to call me back and today I just found out I spoke with Mr. Townsend not Mr.Seegar. So I spoke with Mr Townsend and he said he’s going to get the court to relook at my case. Just a traffic ticket so I thought it would be quick, he said he had court on Friday, it was Tuesday so again I assumed we would have an answer by Monday. Didn’t hear from him, so I called back and I been calling almost every week and asking for him to call me back and he still didn’t call me. So last week I get a letter and email stating my license was going to be suspended, if they don’t receive my payment. I’m confused because I never received anything from Mr. Seegar on court cost. I called again and sent a email and he was supposed call me back and still nothing. I found out today they put a late charge on my court fees for $50 dollars. So I called today and spoke with his receptionist and again she said he will give me a call. At this point I don’t believe anything she’s saying so she said he has court today, I told her I was going to just meet him there and she said she will let him know. I drive 30 minutes to the Concord Courthouse and then I Call her back to let her know I was here and she doesn’t answer the phone. I called 7 times before I went into the courthouse and looked in every courthouse. I spoke with an officer there and she said she hasn’t seen Mr. Seegar today. Then I walk over to his practice and he’s not there either. This is by far the worst worst worst legal practice around. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Didn’t even offer to pay the $50 dollar late fee for the inconvenience.

My husband And I Hired Keith to assist with a child custody case. From the beginning I was NOT very confident in his services. But he assured both my husband and I that this was a “slam dunk” case. He was very inconsistent. He never called and updated us with progress along the case. We had to continue to call him. Everytime we would call he would say “I was just about to call you!” There would be months in between communication. We tried to be understanding with COVID since he told us that the courts were backed up during that time but something didn’t seem right since were getting other legal issues taken care of so we called the courts about this case ourselves. He had never sent the courts information regarding the other parent being filed THEY WERE NEVER FILED, in fact the case had been closed! Then when he was confronted about it he blames the sheriffs office. He also stated that he “THOUGHT” she was filed but he was looking at the incorrect information on the sheriffs website. Even if it was an error on their part - he never checked in on this case. He allowed this case to sit and sit and they closed it! He lied about everything. 1000.00 of our money that he refuses to refund.
We waited a year and my husband still has no contact with his son.
We have secured another attorney but guys just want you all to be careful with this one.

I’m just getting around to this a year later, first thing this lady has a snappy attitude, she showed up to the custody hearing with no cross-examination questions, I looked over at her she started making up a few questions on the spot right before her time to cross exam, I said to myself what in the hell. Prior to the child custody trial, I emailed her questions she could potentially ask because I knew the opposing party’s situation and they were not truthful. Throughout the entire trial she probably objected the opposing council a hand full of times. When I would look at her face, it was like a dear in the headlights, she was stuck. it was like she was afraid of the opposing council. We took a bathroom break during the custody hearing and my character witness came over to me and said you need to fire this lady, I told him, I had already paid her. During this entire experience, this attorney was extremely apathetic, she did the bare minimum, she did not put any effort into this case; really quick phone calls, did not put any time and research in the case. My child’s mom even asked me where did I get that lawyer from? This lawyer has absolutely no business in the legal field.

Mrs. Jones represented me in a CS case and she delivered what she promised.
I remembered when I first interviewed her, I knew she would do a good job. However, she didn’t do a good job, she did an excellent job representing me.
She responded all my emails in a timely manner, her assistant was always there with reminders and more.
I worked with another lawyer before her and I learned how hard is to find a good family lawyer. Particularly those on the side of the father and I strongly recommend Jana Jones. You will not regret hiring her, she is very knowledgeable and she will have your best interest in mind when going to court. She know her way around the court and knows exactly how to address toughest judges.
Bottom line…. She is really good
One more thing and most important… when it comes to legal services… she is fair when it comes to her fees. You will not have any billing surprises, if you used legal services before you would know what I am talking about it. She is there to do the job, not to get your money.

The website CLEARLY states they offer Family law but keep telling me they don’t repeatedly even after having a attorney Kelly Carol from legal aid poorly handled my case and even 2 years later I’m being treated unfairly and now Legal Aid know they screwed my case over and now they want even help or fix what they screwed me over they keep telling me they don’t help which is a BOLD FACE LIE! I’ve reached out 14 different times in the past 2 years seeking help but keep getting turned down! Mecklenburg county Legal aid is wrong for what they did to me and my family! And the fact that legal aid want even assist me on fixing it! DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE BOGUS PEOPLE THEY WEBSITE CLEARLY SAYS THEY OFFER FAMILY LAW BUT KEEPS LYING TO ME SAYING THEY DONT! I know of 3 women currently getting help with legal aid with family law and it’s really grinds my gears that they keep lying to me and I’m really being treated unfairly on court! This place is the biggest scam of a business that I’ve ever seen. Money has been sent twice to this business for them to hold onto for MONTHS and then send back to say you owe them more now. Been dealing with them for over 6 months now and have had money returned TWICE and told they were adding additional fees. Last payment was sent in December, today is the middle of April and they are just sending that payment back because they didn’t deposit it when they received it back in December. Most incompetent company I have ever seen!

Been dealing with them for over 6 months now and have had money returned TWICE and told they were adding additional fees. Last payment was sent in December, today is the middle of April and they are just sending that payment back because they didn’t deposit it when they received it back in December.
