I had a very scary, self induced IRS problem with bills and judgements close to $500k. I was absolutely petrified. My matter was extremely complicated and further exacerbated by IRS delays in processing, lost returns and an erroneous, highly complicated notice of deficiency judgement for over $200k alone. Scary, life altering stuff. I was an absolute wreck. I knew could not handle this problem alone but after doing extensive research - it seemed like there was a whole industry of tax attorneys and consultants that preyed on peoples fears and promised easy settlements with the IRS while taking large fees from distressed people like me. Then I found Howard's website and very well written and understandable blogs and I thought I had found a glimmer of hope. We set up a call, I explained my complicated problem and Howard agreed to take me on as a client and assured me that we would be able to get things settled with the IRS . I must say that right off the bat, I am sure I became Howard's most neurotic client of all time. I was an absolute paranoid wreck. My case was so complicated and had many many twists and turns. Howard has an intricate knowledge of tax law but also fully understands how the IRS thinks and works - even its computers.... His website says he is a "friend when the IRS comes calling." But he became more than that to me. He was a psychologist, friend and attorney. I was not only scared, I was quite embarrassed to have put myself and my family in this tax predicament. With each new fear or complication in my case - and there were many - Howard would take my fearful calls, talk me off a ledge, give great counsel and keep the case on course. I'm grateful to Howard and Griffin for getting my complicated case in front of the right people at the IRS, correcting what was wrong and negotiating an acceptable settlement for a third of what the IRS was originally coming after me for. He allowed me to move past this matter and be able to breath again. I am forever thankful. For any of you out there in need of a savior, beacon and advocate on serious IRS matters, Howard and Griffin Levy should be at the top of your list. Its also probably important to say that I live in Connecticut and work in California and New York. Howard is based in Cincinnati. So for handling IRS matters - no matter where you live or work, Howard can handle everything over the phone and by email. He has truly been a godsend to me and I am forever indebted.

It all started with a letter. I panicked and called one of those 1-800 number places that advertise incessantly. I thought because this one happened to be in the city I lived in that I would get good service and I would be able to show up to an office and talk to someone who can help me with my problem. I paid them a partial payment and quite a handsome amount. Every time I called to check on my progress and pay my balance it seemed that I was connected to a call center. It’s funny that even though part of the purpose of my call was to pay them that they kept pushing a hard sell. Something didn’t seem right. I asked to speak to an actual attorney, it seemed like they put another telemarketer on the line to make me think I was speaking to a lawyer. NEVER EVER call those 1-800 numbers promising to solve your tax problems - they are a scam.
I needed real representation so I started doing some research until I found a very well written article addressing my situation. Howard wrote it. So I called Howard. Within minutes I was talking to an actual attorney. My situation was complicated and Howard patiently listened while putting me at ease. He took my worst fears out of the equation very quickly. Then he began to formulate a general outline of what needed to be done. However you will never have to deal with the IRS ever again, he handles every communication and contact with them. You can sleep soundly knowing that.
Since we are talking about dealing with government the process does take a while but when we finally got into the details Howard amazed me with discussions of strategy and the risks, benefits and probabilities of the different approaches. Reasonably, he never promises any specific result, as he cannot - there are too many variables. He always had a plan for all the potential outcomes. Clearly he is experienced and I later found that he has over 25 years of experience both inside and outside the IRS which shows. He has an insider’s perspective which is invaluable in doing the things that actually matter in getting your case through he gears of slow bureaucracy. Trying to solve your problems yourself would be a fool’s errand considering what I learned about the process from Howard. The consequences of making a mistake could be dire.
In the end process was mostly painless apart from a few days of some deep dives into your accounts, and some basic accounting lessons from Howard.
The result? Remember those ads with the 1-800 numbers with those too good to be true promises? What they promise is what Howard actually delivered for me.

We needed to consolidate our debt and I was looking at some options. But first we had 3,000 to 4,000 to throw at it to get some of the utilizations down to possibly get a better rate. We hired Scott to handle my son's DUI case. There was a mental health aspect to his case and Scott dealt with it with compassion and respect. I got an OVI in Oct. 2016 and did not realize that when my OVI was settled, the driving privileges I had until that point had to be re-approved (in other words, my driving privileges were revoked after the OVI was settled until the judge approved new driving privileges.) I accidentally backed into another car while my driving privileges were revoked, so I was charged with Driving under OVI Suspension, Improper Backing, and Leaving the Scene. Mark got the prosecutor to drop everything except Leaving the Scene, which means that I had no additional penalties except court costs. He was incredibly responsive, responding to my many questions within a couple hours, and very honest about the charges and penalties that I was facing.
Also, he's not too hard to look at. ;)
I highly recommend him to anyone facing a scary situation.

I worked with Tad on my case for a year! He would text me back weekend or not, super friendly. Explained the whole process of everything in a way I could understand what was really going on. I was accused of a crime I truly did not commit and he believed me. Unfortunately we could not prove a phone call conversion in trial we we settled for a plea. Went from 2 major felonies count 2 and a 3. Down to a misdemeanor 1, probation for 2 years that’s it. Great guy enjoyed working with him but hopefully I never see him again unless it’s a run in at the store.

I called Tad just days before my pre-trial hearing and he was nice enough to accommodate me into his busy schedule. He took my concerns very seriously and was very thorough in investigating all the details of my case. He was available at any time of the day when I had a question or concern. His law office is focused on trial, and not just pleading out. If you desire a plea bargain he will work to achieve the outcome you desire, but dont fear if you want to go to trial. He is dedicated and thorough and will work hard to achieve a positive outcome. My case was dismissed, but Tad a solid game plan, with motions for dismissal, and a trial plan if the case was not dismissed prior to trial. I got hit with a lawsuit by a large Credit Card company over an unpaid balance (my fault) and I hired Joseph Mezher to negotiate the amount owned down to a much more workable amount with the other law firm. Mezher Associates were great to work with and very helpful. All of the other of the attorneys I consulted wanted me to declare bankruptcy, Joseph Mezher was the only one who help me work the other law firm to avoid doing that. Very pleased with the outcome and would work with them again anytime.

I met Mr. Peller in 2018, I found Ken’s contact online after talking and meeting with several lawyers. When I first met with ken, I felt I finally find the right person. Till today, I have been feeling fortunate and greatful that I found him and made the decision to have him as my attorney.
Ken is a great attorney with lots of experience. He truly listened to me, to what I wanted and to what I had concern about then give me his advise. What’s more than that is he also thought from the child’s perspective, sometimes he would just think and talk like a friend of mine, if not an attorney. We would walk through the impact of the case direction to the kid, including what’s several years down the road.
Ken has his own law firm, I can get in contact with him directly. Ken replies phone calls as soon as he can If he missed one. And the email exchanges with Ken were also on time and informational.
My case involved a young child and last over a year, it was a difficult time especially when the other party was using what he knew about the law telling lies, threatening and harassing me. But I could always get assured from Ken that the other party did not have a stand at all. And it was proven that he was right every time.
My case had to go to the court after all. In a nutshell, Ken had prepared me and the case really well, his performance on the court went beyond my expectation. Finally, we won. Property was divided fairly. Most importantly, I got the kind of custody I wanted for my child.

I was injured in an accident @ Dayton Power & Light (DP&L) Killen Station, Rome Ohio on Apr. 19th, 2013. I suffered multiple Life changing injuries which required numerous surgeries from spinal injuries, broken ankle, torn tendons. Mr. Kime and his staff were relentless in handling of all paperwork through Workers Comp. to make sure all C-9's & Medco 14's were properly submitted in a timely manner so I could concentrate on dealing & scheduling all surgeries for needed treatment & all post operative therapies with all the Drs. I have known Jimmy for a year now as he has handled all aspects of my divorce, one of the roughest I have experienced, winning the case with minimal damages at the end. He even keeps the other lawyer in check if they are on the opposing side, several times over the course of my divorce he swooped in like Zoro keeping things fair and professional. What can I not say about the guidance Jimmy provided me during my 4 year long debate/divorce. Things weren't going well in my marriage and a friend suggested I reach out to Jimmy and I did. We had previous history together, but not under these circumstances.
