My very close friend made the mistake of a third DWI. He faced felony charges and deportation back to his birth country (he was born in Vietnam, but raised here since he was a toddler). Due to the immense stress of this pending trial, he even suffered physically/medically.
Jack was very compassionate and even took the time to meet my friend/client, his brother, and even me in his office.
He answered all of my texts and calls very quickly throughout the entire process. He even answered a frantic weekend call from me (when he was probably with his family).
Jack made miracles happen and was able to receive a misdemeanor plea deal within a very short time (less than 5 months).

Michelle not only helped me resolve an issue with my previous employer but also provided emotional support throughout the process as this was the first time in my life I was in need of legal representation. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of legal help especially with regard to discrimination cases. She also got back to me fairly quickly upon my initial correspondence with her (unlike some other lawyers I reached out to) and was willing to fully hear me out and assist me to the best of her ability. I talked with several employment attorneys before hiring Michelle to assist with my severance dispute. I ended up going with her because of a very good referral from a close friend who used her for a non-compete matter he had as an EVP. Michelle was well-versed in all aspects of executive severance and got me everything I wanted. It took awhile, but that was not her fault--there were several delays on my employer's part. Despite this, Michelle kept them on track and kept me updated. Her fees were reasonable, which I really appreciated. Could not be happier.

When I got my pregnent, my boss thought it would be OK to just fire me. Fortunately, I found Michelle and she took my case on contingency. She explained that what my employer did was totally illegal, and she was really mad. I can't discuss the numbers, but I am happy with what Michelle got for me. This is probably the best experience i've had with a personal injury attorney. Jennifer is much different that any other that i've hired. She is responsive and communicates through out the entire process. I've had law firms who won't/don't return your phone calls. Or they just are really slow to respond to your emails & questions. That is not the case with Jennifer Kasher's firm. I was able to text or call when I had questions or concerns. It was such a good experience that I hired her for more than one case. I can't be more pleased and I will recommend her to anyone who needs a personal injury attorney.

A few years ago, I was hit by a drunk driver and really should have been killed. My car was airborne for over 40 feet, and rolled two and a half times. The drunk driver was driving on a suspended license, and had no insurance. When my insurance company offered to replace my car and pay for my medical expenses, I was in disbelief. A friend put me in touch with John Barr, and told me that he would see to it that I was treated well. I was. He flew to Lubbock to meet us, and when he learned all of the facts, he went to work. I can never thank him enough. He cares, he knows his field, and he was successful in obtaining the maximum my insurance company could offer. John Barr is one of the few who give a good name to those who practice law.

It has taken a long time, but I have learned that a fancy downtown office on a penthouse floor does not automatically equal a good lawyer. (Neither does a paid-for ad for "Best Lawyer".) In fact, all those trimmings may mean a lawyer who is adept at billing. I made a HUGE mistake in not calling John Barr immediately a few years ago when I needed an attorney STAT, a mistake I paid for dearly by losing a preliminary ruling. The minute he came on, the game changed, and for the better. I felt a confidence that the case was being taken care of without having to micro-manage. (I even slept better at night!) John is smart, caring, and the legal bulldog you want when you need one. He is the Marcus Welby MD of Dallas attorneys, as he cares about his clients, loves what he does, and never gives up. He has me as a client for life, which may ultimately drive him crazy because I never hesitate to refer him to anyone who needs a solid, seasoned attorney. Finding a good attorney is really an art, and this guy is the best in town.

Call is picked up by somebody that is making sure I know that he doesn’t want to be answering the phone (weird they would apply for such a position) and I state that I have a military related legal matter. The guy on the phone instantly responds by telling me that they don’t do military law. Contrary to the Google search, all the reviews, the entire website, and all of their social media presence… they apparently DO NOT DO MILITARY LAW. Mind you, I was never asked to explain my case or what sort of outcome I was looking to reach. Just begrudgingly answered the phone and told me, with no knowledge of my intentions, that they don’t do the only thing they advertise. Fantastic. Updating to address his response. They can’t take my case that I have never described to them because they want to play around with the semantics of my choice of words. My (a person with no law background) words that I used when reaching out for assistance with… law. They recommended small claims court on the phone but small claims court caps at $7,000 rather than a half million. Anyways. This guy really said “21 a day? Let’s pump those numbers.”

Don is THE MAN! Ive never met a Lawyer that is as efficient, takes calls and emails day and night, (I don't think he sleeps or vacations, but LOVES his wiener dog! ha) and maps everything out as good and clear as Don did. His assistant Oliver was REALLY good at his job. Both very professional and classy, straight shooter, fair on price, and did everything he said he would do. Im hoping I never have to call him again for court matters, but if I do it will be Don. Great Guy and cares about his clients and work. I appreciate him. Side Not, If he ask for certain documents or assignments to be done, don't be lazy. Get it done and over to him so he can do his job. If you do that, and not wait until last minute, everyone will leave happy.

Best decision I made to switch lawyers to Kyle Steele. I had started with another attorney, but after twice having the ball dropped with my case, I switched to Kyle hoping for the best. And Kyle came through. I had a felony probation violation with 2 new felony charges. I was stressed. Kyle gave me his cell phone number and answered my questions within 24 hours. In the end, Kyle was able to get my original probation reinstated, and probation on the new charges. No Jail Time!!! Which I thought for sure was coming my way! I met with Jere a few months ago, in a simple consultation, and he was fantastic. His knowledge of the law was more than evident, he listened to a pretty complex saga and gave us some terrific advice. He is respectful (which is VERY rare), I felt heard, validated and felt like anyone would be in great hands with him. Pyke & Associates was able to help me with my father's Probate will. Mr. Balen who was assigned to my case is a great lawyer! who managed the Probate to go smother. Also, Mr. Balen took the initiative to help me with the sales of my father’s estate. He fought for me to find a title company and after dealing with the third title firm, he was able to help me close the sales. This process took almost a year, but if it hadn’t been for him, it would probably taken longer. I am very pleased with the service, Pyke & associates has provided me. I usually do not rate or review services online but I thought the stellar service I received from the Worrell Law firm deserves my time and recognition. Mr. Worrell made our dream of becoming parents painlessly true.
The fostering and adoption process is rewarding but can be very painful as it has so many ups and downs let alone the legal landscape that continuously changes and last minute obstacles.
I will not go through the whole painful story here but the very TLDR is that we were about to lose the kiddos that were placed with us for over 2 years since birth to a relative that never was present in their lives until a few weeks before trial and parental rights termination.We were devastated and wanted to fight for the kids to stay in the only family they had known. We thought all hope was lost until we were referred to the Worell law firm to assist.
I called Mr. Worell on the phone for an initial consultation and he did admit that it was not enough time to prepare since the trial was so close but he would work around the clock to fight for us. Before we even signed the retainer’s agreement Mr. Worell had already reached out to the social worker and the DA to inquire about the case. What kind of lawyer would care as much for the person than the check? I really was wow’ed by that. He gathered all the evidence he could find in a short time and was ready for trial. He made a great case for us before the judge and… that cross examination during trial..Oh boy, he really knew what he was doing. After that victory, Mr. Worell worked closely with us for the adoption and even went an extra mile to prepare the birth certificate application and made sure everything was well organized to be sent to the Vital Statistics. I had to take the time to write a review to share our experience with the Worrell Law Firm. This was truly an amazing experience for my family. We did a Termination/Step parent adoption. Throughout the entire process, Blanca and Sylvia were on it. They kept us informed of the process for court and all the necessary steps we needed to take. Not only did they help in the adoption process, they also helped us with the termination of the absent father. (Which I didn't think was possible) I couldn't thank God enough for bringing these amazing attorneys in our lives. They truly care about our children and take pride in their work. When we arrived to the court, Mr. Worrell arrived sharp and ready for court. I knew he could tell we were all nervous. He took the time to speak to each one of my children. Speaking to all 3, he asked them, "do you know why you are here?" They said "to be adopted" He made them and us feel at ease before we went into court. During court he called all our family up front to share in this experience. This day was a very emotional and fantastic day. It will always be a day to remember. this lawyer right here will go to bat for you and do his best to prove your innonce and make things right and he will cget some charges or services dropped to..he will make sure you look yr best in the courtroom,,he is a reassuring lawyer who is kind caring and goes all out espically when their are kids invovled..we hired him i the middle of may 2012 and on july 5th at 1230 noon i had both of my children back safe and in our arms.. he took the stemmons office of cps caseworker we had to court and sunpouned her boss and that offices supervisor and we came out of that courtroom succesful with in two and a half hours.. he also got all the horrrible charges against my husband dropped for lack of evidence and no police reports..the caseworker we had was not on our case anymore and we got a more nicer understanding caseworker that would comminicate with us and not yell at us and make us feel like crap..
