My family is very lucky to have found Atty. Rachel at a time when we were just starting here in the US and we were at a loss as to how to go about with the immigration process. We just got her contact number from a friend and yet, she did not hesitate to accept my call and answer all my questions. She is very accommodating that you would feel like you have known her all your life. As the saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”, that is exactly the approach Rachel Giron takes in making sure she is actively listening in order to provide my husband and I with the best service. Rachel is very efficient. She always return our phone calls in a timely manner. There is always a smile and a willingness to answer any and every question asked when we are uncertain of what was needed to be done.

My wife and I retained Ms. Goldman to help us in obtaining guardianship (aka Conservatorship) of our godson. It was a very detailed and unusual case, involving coordination with Juvenile Justice and serving papers to a very unwilling party. Ms. Goldman and staff were thorough in behind the scenes needs and when it came to the trial, she was superb. We happily won permanent guardianship and now have a chance to give our godson the bright future he deserves.

Jen and Kris were recommended to me by some friends and after a brief meeting with them I immediately hired them to handle my divorce. Susan is an impressive immigration attorney that gives several options depending on your circumstances. Gave me hope as opposed to another immigration attorney who just gave me one outcome and did not think outside the box. As an accountant my chances of getting a green card through the employer route had a high chance of being denied. She assisted in every step of the process and when there was a request for evidence, she guided us through the process. I ended up getting my permanent residence in April 2014 and have no regrets with her services. I will highly recommend her.

I 100% recommend Susan for any kind of immigration services. Below is my experience:
Susan handled my H1B transfer when I changed employer, and I have less than a year on my H1B. Susan was very informative, she clearly explains process and provides necessary information to the candidate which will give sufficient time to collect information timely whether it could be data and documents.
Now the interesting part is, I have less than a year on my current H1B, and if I am not at certain stage (I-140) of Green Card process, I can't continue my stay. Everyone told me now there is no hope and it's already late and I also lost hope.
As soon as Susan taken up my H1B transfer case, in parallel she explained the urgency my situation to my employer and initiated Green card process as it's time sensitive.
She acted really fast with out giving any chance for further complications, which is not possible with a commanding knowledge/background on the case area dealing with.
Long story shot, With in 3 months my PERM got approved, and in another less than a month I-140 got approved and now got 3 years of H1B extension with NO RFEs.
Susan and her team were really responsive to my queries, providing necessary information in advance. I highly recommend their services.

Susan and her staff are very prompt and responsive. Their response times are amazingly fast.
I worked with them remotely (without visiting their office) through my employer but they seem to be very well structured and have clear established operating processes that makes interacting with them a delight.
Susan herself stays on top of all communication, even the most trivial matters, which gives me (as a client) an assurance that my concerns are addressed very well. I've worked with few other law firms before and Susan's firm is clearly one of the best I've seen.

There were many instances where the service was above and beyond, ex: I had issues with my interlock device for a short time and she cared enough to help by letting her IID contact know about the issue. Also, at the end, she got my interlock device removal granted, but I did not got the removal papers on the court date by mistake. She and her team followed up personally and got the papers to me from the court the very next day!!
She cares about her clients enough and I felt no different and I am really very pleased with her service. I had attorneys for other things in my past such as immigration matters and others, and from my own little experience I can say that she is definitely in her own league, at the very top. I wish my other attorneys could at least be half good as her.
I could not be more happy with the outcome we got last week.

Ms sallye was extremely fast and straight forward. When I told her everything I was hearing from other lawyers, she called bs and told me she could help me. I was so glad I took my time looking for a lawyer because I don’t think I could have found anyone better. Jim Burnham is a tremendous lawyer who cares about and protects his clients! He represented me on charges of felony theft and worked incredibly hard on my case with the prosecutor. In the end, instead of prison time, Jim got me probation with no conviction, with no fine, no restitution, and no community service. The only thing I have to do now is send in a probation sheet every month.

When you're being charged with any crime, it is something that needs to be taken very seriously. Selecting the right attorney to defend your reputation, freedom and rights is the most important decision you will make in the situation. I'm so very glad I made the decision to select Hernandez and Baggett. They had excellent communication and were very responsive to answer all my questions from start to finish. They took the allegations against me very seriously and they put together an amazing defense for my trial, which showcased credibility flaws in all the witnesses who were testifying against me. The background checks they pulled and how they used that information to raise doubts in the courtroom, it was on the level Perry Mason style detective work and even better. Extremely thoughtful, strategic, and well played! I am so impressed with how they handled my case every step of the way. The prosecution left ashamed and embarrassed with the attention they had brought onto themselves to even bring this case to trial.

Robert was able to negotiate a lesser charge of highway obstruction. My BACs were high at almost 15%. I interviewed Dallas's top lawyers and most were very bleak in their outlook.
Another top lawyer's sole strategy was just to negotiate my jail time. Robert explored every option thoroughly on the other hand. Robert does not rush working the case details with you and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. This is something I really appreciated, and is hard to find in a lawyer. Overall, Robert is the kind of lawyer you want in your corner, is someone that will fight for you, and I give him my highest recommendation.

I hired Robert&Baggett to represent me in DWI case that I found myself in January 2016. Robert told me the challenges that were ahead of me and since am Truck driver (CDL) my job depends on my driving licence I was in a tight situation since my blood analysis was at 0.17. My licence was to be suspended and immediately Robert asked for a hearing with DPS and we won my licence wasn't suspended. We embarked on the main case and Robert and Baggett did a great job my case was heard by jury in april 17&18 2017 and I couldn't believe my ears when the jury came back with a verdict of not guilty. Russ, Michelle and their office staff assisted me in resolving a complicated felony DWI case. Let me just say, this was the most stressful time of my entire life; when you have a pending legal charge, you spend every day in limbo- feeling scared and uneasy about what the future may or may not hold. I am unsure if I could have made it through those months without the help of their office. As a local business owner and single parent, my life was completely chaotic, even before this added stressor. Russ and Michelle were incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, reassuring and FAST; if I had any question, I could always just shoot over an email and expect a response within hours, sometimes minutes. They kept me informed and were completely honest about exactly what was happening and what I was to expect during the whole ordeal. I contacted Ms Garza to handle a change in custody for one of my two sons, who both lived with their mom after I moved out of the immediate area after said son had issues with his mom's husband. I thought I had a horrible uphill battle ahead of me, until she represented me. Lisa broke it down for me what we could do, and I could tell right away I made the right decision. Her name alone let's the other side know you didn't come to screw around. She is dynamite, aggressive yet personable to her clients, and her associate and office staff are first class. I never had to worry about a phone call or question not being answered or returned. She gave me great guidance, and made suggestions that suited my son and me for now and in the future. She is no non-sense with her approach, and it seems most opposing attorney's are more than willing to work with her toward a mutual solution, but never did she compromise what mattered most to me. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone about to take the monster of divorce on, especially with children involved. I was made to feel like she had no other clients in the world, that I was the only one. I was so grateful I had the opportunity to retain Ms. Garza, and you will be too. I highly recommend Winocour law if you are ever in an auto accident. I was first introduced to Jonathon Winocour about 20 years ago when my sister was hit by a drunk driver. He handled her case against him. Jonathon Winocour won my sister the full settlement. A couple years later I was in an auto accident which lead to serious spinal injury. Against all odds fighting insurance companies and adjusters, Jonathan Winocour prevailed and got the full settlement amount without even having to go to court. I was very impressed and grateful for his genius. He is a very personable and honest. He gives it to you straight, and he has your best interest at the forefront always! About ten years later I was involved in a second auto accident which cause more spinal injuries. Having my preexisting conditions, Jonathan had to prove this new accident had exacerbated my injuries. All thanks to Mr. Pete Schulte! Never having been in a predicament with the law, I was incredibly sacred and nervous when I walked into Mr. Schulte's office for my initial meeting. However, I walked out feeling relieved. He assured me of his goal to have my case dismissed, all while making it clear what to expect in any event. And thereafter all communication was very prompt and direct. Due to Covid my case was pending for a long period, but Mr. Schulte never failed to personally provide a quick response or update. I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2017, after workers comp tried to send me back to work, I sought the help of an attorney. I was referred to Mr. Ramey’s Law firm. He met with me and from day one he was honest, transparent, and never gave up or did anything to make me question my decision to hire him.
Mr Ramey paid my cell phone bill for 5 years knowing it was possible we could lose… nothing is guaranteed. Mr. Lake recently represented by boyfriend in his divorce case in which the custody of his daughter was in dispute, and there were some very delicate issues at stake. He went above and beyond in insuring that her -- the child's -- well-being was the priority in the case (compassion). Chris Lake walked me through a divorce after my spouse of 40 years suddenly decided to leave our marriage. My first meeting with Chris was difficult because I was still reeling from the shock of all that had happened. Chris did a wonderful job of patiently explaining the legal issues and what would occur over the next few months. Then the conversation took an entirely different turn.

We talked about the emotional abuse I had experienced throughout the marriage because of my spouse's unmedicated bipolar disorder. The Lenahan team excelled in their duty to bring my brother and I some justice after we lost our mother to an intoxicated driver (with multiple DUI offenses), driving a company vehicle. Albeit an aspect of this dreadful situation continues to linger and my brother and I are not finished with the courts, the case as it pertains to the driver. If you are looking for a personal injury attorney, you truly will not find a better law firm. When my brother suffered a devastating injury a few years ago, I started the search for a personal injury attorney almost immediately. As a lawyer myself, I was extremely picky and diligent about looking for a lawyer- I solicited recommendations from my professional network, scoured legal websites for reviews and interviewed at least a half dozen firms. I decided to go with Marc and his firm because I found them to be the most genuine, compassionate and likeable attorneys I met with.
My brother had been injured at a national chain of entertainment venues so our lawsuit was not an easy one. We sued 3 defendants, asked for monetary damages, and also demanded that the company where the injury happened make safety modifications at all of their locations (almost 30) nationwide. On top of all that, we encountered some unfortunate events over the years, faced shockingly nasty opposing counsel and even had a judge die in the middle of litigation. Despite all of this- Marc, Kathleen, Tom and Wes never wavered in their attention and effort in my brother’s case. Every email was replied to promptly, every phone call returned the same day, every rant I felt compelled to make consistently every few months was patiently dealt with, and every idea or question I ever had was listened to (as can be imagined lawyers are notoriously difficult clients with many ideas).
Our outcome was truly a miracle given all the obstacles we ran into. In the end we decided to settle to avoid more litigation and an appeal and were very satisfied with the settlement. The settlement was what I had hoped it would be- an amount that would be enough to change my brother’s life although no amount can ever make up for the tragedy suffered. Marc and his team were also able to get the company to retrofit all of their national locations for safety as Marc truly understood how important it was for my family to make sure that other families wouldn’t go through this in the future.
Despite my brother’s injury being one of the toughest events my family and I have ever gone through, I couldn’t have even begun to navigate a lawsuit without the support and help of Marc and his team. They allowed my family and I to focus on my brother’s recovery while they dealt with litigation-somehow always knowing when we needed to be left alone and removed from the dramas of litigation and when it was critical to keep us involved and engaged in the decision making. Either way, know this: if Sheridan is your advocate, you will get the best advice and support possible. She can’t make magic happen, but she knows how to navigate rapids and help people feel comfort through the stress.
Here are some qualities everyone should know about Sheridan:
Sheridan can work in Dallas or Collin County, and she KNOWS HOW TO REACH OUT AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS with people (including prosecutors). Apparently, so much of this criminal justice process is about making connections with people and trying to work within the system. That makes sense, but knowing when to contact, what to ask of prosecutors, and how to be nice but insistent in a way that builds credibility makes Sheridan feel like Gandalf (that’s a super smart wizard to you non-Lord of the Rings people). She just knows what to do, who to contact, and what is realistic.
Sheridan is REALISTIC and HOPEFUL. She also “takes every bite at the apple” to help exonerate clients (meaning SHE TRIES EVERYTHING). We talked to a number of attorneys one of which was horrible and still has a five star review. Most of them told us that the most we could hope for was to settle something we could accept. I was not about that, especially because we are innocent. Sheridan had a different approach - she said we will ALWAYS try to appeal to good judgement at every stage. She was right. Our case was dismissed because of her positive outlook, her detailed work, her encouragement, and her advice.
Sheridan PRIORITIZES PEOPLE and cares about her clients as humans. Our first lawyer never called us back. I know that they get busy, but never? Sheridan is responsive and communicates well. Just be up front with when you want to chat, and she and her associates will schedule Zoom calls or meetings.
Sheridan THINKS STRATEGICALLY and EXPLAINS PROCESSES. With each step, Sheridan laid our game plan and then explained the what ands why. I know more about all this CJ process because of her careful insights.
Sheridan is a funny woman who is considered by many in the field to be a top attorney - has impressed many and she will impress you. Consult with Sheridan Lewis before you hire an attorney.
I was falsely accused of an unspeakable crime and had no clue how to defend against such an awful allegation. How does one prove that something never happened, after all? Being referred to Sheridan was by far the best thing that happened!
When I sat down to take a polygraph, the examiner told me he didn't know if I had done anything wrong YET (implying he would after the exam). He quickly added that what I had done right was to hire Sheridan Lewis. Truer words were never spoken.
Sheridan's expertise is unmatched. She truly is brilliant. Her intelligence, years of experience, excellent communication style, and fighting spirit are just what you need no matter how serious the allegation against you. Sheridan offered excellent advice and helped us remain both positive and realistic in our outlook. Moreover, Sheridan treated us like we were her only client – taking time to talk with us, hear our concerns, reassure us concerning the process, etc. She treated us with dignity and kindness despite the seriousness and awful nature of the false allegation.
Sheridan stands out from the other attorneys with whom we had consultations. You want and need someone willing to fight for you. Sheridan fights for her clients and for the truth! Here are two specific examples.
First, bond conditions required me to wear a monitoring device. Other attorneys told me it would be approximately nine months before it might be removed. For several reasons, Sheridan thought we could at least ask the court to remove it. Thanks to her tenacity, the court ordered it removed after only two months – long before any other attorney said they would even try.
Another example was the stellar defense package she and her team assembled. Several other attorneys said the odds of success were too low and they did not spend time putting a package together. Fortunately, Sheridan said we should take every opportunity to demonstrate my innocence. We knew nothing was guaranteed but felt comfortable that we were in as strong a position as possible going into the grand jury because of Sheridan and her outstanding team.
The grand jury found no probable cause to indict the case and I was never charged with a crime. Before hiring Sheridan, other attorneys said the best outcome we could hope for was a plea deal.
The moral of the story is this: do not hire another attorney until you've met with Sheridan. She literally saved my future because she was willing to do what was right and mounted a robust defense against false allegations. There are not words to adequately thank Sheridan Lewis for all she did on our behalf. We are eternally grateful!
