I got in my first major car accident last year in November and it was a major blow financially and emotionally for me because it wasn't my fault at all and I had no idea where to turn too for legal help. By the grace of God my fiancee's coworker suggested this law firm for my case because he had such a good experience with them and let me tell you he wasn't lying. Throughout the whole process so far they have been so helpful and nice making this traumatic experience for me so much easier to get through. While recovering from my injury they even sent little care packages! Me and my fiancee thought that was so nice of them, For them to go out of there way to do that for us. I have full confidence in them resolving my case and hopefully this review helps someone else reach out to get the help and compensation they deserve as well. My husband left behind a very muddled and complicated estate with no will, loans that were owed him, real estate owned in several states, a construction project that was barely started, unpaid taxes, money in a foreign account that was frozen, a safe deposit box owned by him alone and a jealous girl friend who sued me.
Jean and her associates have helped me through the process of becoming the administrator of his estate, reactivate my late husbands LLC so I can continue the construction project and has countered the suit effectively. Jean has begun the process of forcing the repayments of the loans by placing liens against the debtors property which he has for sale thereby preventing sale without repayment of his loan. There is still much to be done, but I have confidence in Jean's ability to advise me and help me find the specialized help I need to complete this task..

Mrs. Boone was the only lawyer that listened to the details of my case and was willing to fight for child custody and argue a fault divorce. The other lawyers were more focused on how to divide financial assets. I needed a lawyer that felt I had a case and was willing to work for me, and not just do the easy stuff. Mrs. Boone did an amazing job proving inconsistencies in my ex's depositions, fighting for child custody, and sole use of the marital home during the PL hearing. The two opposing counsels that my ex hired were no match for Mrs. Boone. Although Mrs. Boone tried to avoid going to trial, she had no choice, and she was prepared for war. I was in awe of how well prepared she was in comparison to opposing counsel. I am so thankful to the lawyer that referred me to Mrs. Boone because she was too busy to take my case. This lawyer likes to represent good dads.

Quinton is a fine client's lawyer and a fine lawyer's lawyer. I always recommend him highly and he is the first person I think of when I have a Virginia matter. I decided to reach out and ultimately hire Ms. Pervaiz after receiving positive feedback from a friend. I am extremely happy with my decision because Ms. Pervaiz was very supportive and professional from beginning to end. At the time, I was in a very tight bind and conflicted on what to do next after reading about consequences that were levied on others in a similar situation to my own.
I knew that I wanted to hire Ms. Pervaiz after the initial consultation because she was confident and provided me assurance right away. She had handled similar cases in the past that yielded positive results so I was much more comfortable after reading all the horror stories online. After the initial consultation, she gave me a list of documents to obtain so she can review, understand, and fully assess my case.
After I sent over the documents, Ms. Pervaiz made herself available every day until my actual court date. This really put me at ease knowing that I could always reach out anytime I had any questions. I only called a few times mainly to ensure she had everything she needed but the initial checklist she gave me covered it all.
On the actual court date, we agreed to meet early to go over any final questions and to explain the process in the courtroom. She made it really easy for me as she did all of the talking. She laid out potential scenarios, explained the details of each situation, and asked what outcome I would prefer.
The case ended in a favorable outcome for which I am extremely grateful. I would gladly hire Ms. Pervaiz again and have recommended her to others.

Mr. Romanick and his associates work smartly and efficiently. We hired him for a collection matter that evolved into an adversary proceeding in a chapter 7 bankruptcy. These cases can be quite complicated and expensive. He always had a complete understanding of the complexities of our business. He was able to spend a minimal amount of time and still turn out quality pleadings. He allowed us to have substantial input in the way the case was handled. Claudia saved my life! I met her at one of the lowest points in my life. My husband at the time left me with 2 kids, no family and/or financial assistance. I was far away from home. Mr. Laufar not only approached the case as requested, he also introduced other variables that resulted in a larger award. He explained parts of the law that we were not aware of at the time. Had we gone to Mr. Laufar 6 months earlier, we would have had a much larger award than obtained at the end of the case. If any follow-up work is required, we will definitely go back to Mr. Laufar and we do recommend him for any legal action.

In 2021 our Grandaughter was born and due too negligence of the hospital she sustained a lot of injuries including brain also , due too lack of Oxygen. We knew we needed a good Attorney and believe Donna was a god sent. Unfortunately, while we were traveling from Pennsylvania to Virginia for vacation, my family and I were involved in a serious crash with a dump trunk. We suddenly found ourselves in need of legal assistance, and we were lost as to what to do since we were located in Pennsylvania and the case needed to be litigated in Virginia. So, we went in search of attorneys who would be able to help. While searching through a long list of candidates and their qualifications we came across a listing for Donna Miller Rostant. Not only was Donna an attorney but she also holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialty in women’s health. This was exactly what I was looking for due to the nature of my injuries. At the beginning of 2016 my aunt, who was living in an assisted living facility, was getting very frustrated with a relative who was handling her funds but not providing any accounting of her assets. Not knowing how to proceed to help my aunt, I asked the facility where she resides for a recommendation of an attorney who might have experience in a situation like ours. They recommended Hale Ball and we are so happy they did.
After an initial consultation with my aunt and I, lawyer Samantha Fredieu gave us a plan on how to try and get an accounting of the assets. Thanks to Samantha’s quick actions, we immediately gained control of my aunt’s assets but discovered our worst fears; the relative had misappropriated a large sum of money from my aunt.
Samantha suggested ( and we agreed) to file a lawsuit to recover the funds. Samantha guided us through all of our choices, explaining in detail which venue was better for our case, state or federal court. After carefully weighing all our options with Samantha, we chose to file our lawsuit in Virginia federal court. Samantha and her firm jumped right into the case and quickly filed an action. Samantha litigated very professionally and always worked with us to keep expenses as low as possible. The relative fought back hard and made the case unnecessarily complicated, but Samantha and her firm thwarted every attempt by the relative to try to get the case dismissed.
After a year of very hard work and multiple appearances before the judge, we won our case with summary judgment and not having to go to trial. We succeeded at every level we had hoped and thanks to Samantha’s efforts, we didn’t have to have my aunt exposed to a potentially exhausting trial. Samantha also got the court to award punitive damages and also got the judge to order that our legal fees had to be reimbursed by the relative who misappropriated the funds.

On numerous occasions Samantha consulted directly with my aunt with showing great patience, love and respect to her, even though my 82 year old aunt can be a handful. I have known Ed Cuccias for over 15 years; he is a great lawyer and good friend. I have had to call on him for his legal services and expertise on two occasions to assist my son after he was stopped and cited for Reckless Driving (Speed in excess of 25 mph over the posted speed limit).
Ed met with us and explained the seriousness of the offense and possible consequences (6 Points off his license, misdemeanor conviction and possible jail time). While a parents’ threats of the consequences for poor driving habits sometimes go unheeded, Ed’s explanation of the seriousness of these charges put the fear of God into my son. His knowledge of the Virginia State and county traffic court system, Police, Sheriffs, Highway Patrol and prosecutors makes him the attorney to call if you have any legal issue associated with driving violations in Virginia. When I received a reckless on the Dulles Access Road, I was pretty freaked out being an out-of-state driver. I met with several attorneys in Fairfax but none of them really struck a chord with me. I ended up going with Andrew Elders, the only one whom I didn't meet in person, because he was highly knowledgeable and clearly laid out his goals according to my needs. Andrew is the best criminal defense lawyer I have come across. In one of the toughest times of my life, Andrew was the light that kept me moving forward. I started my divorce process with a lawyer who did not litigate, first of all because I felt that lawyer was highly qualified, but also because I believed that it would be best to try to mediate the settlement for the benefit of myself, my now ex, and for our three children. Unfortunately, and after nearly two years of trying, it became clear that my wife preferred the scorched earth approach and that I needed to hire a litigator. My lawyer recommended that I turn to Sarah Kuhns for the help I needed to bring things to closure.
Sarah quickly understood the dynamics of my case and brought to it her knowledge of negotiating under the threat of litigation. It was a much different approach than I had been trying to date, but Sarah had a detailed understanding of the litigation process as well as a great insight as to how decisions would be made if the case went to court. She provided me with excellent advice on when to accept a part of the other side’s offer, when to reject it, and when to press for my position. She offered advice and counsel and allowed me to make the decisions based on her input. In December of 2015, I was accused of four felonies and a misdemeanor in Lorton, Va. These charges, if convicted, carried a mandatory sentence of 48 years. I went for a trial and Ms Wright said she would fight for me and she did. I was handed a malicious indictment by a prosecutor who wanted a conviction by any means necessary (I was a retired U.S. Army veteran in deep trouble).
I knew I had a good lawyer at the opening statement, she came in strong and confident, the prosecution was out matched from the start of the proceedings. During the trial process, Ms Wright highlighted the discrepancies in the allegations made against me with pinpoint accuracy. Her cross examination of the witnesses dismantled the credibility of my accusers and during her closing arguments she tore apart the accusations, the police, as well as the state, with no fear. Attorney Caldwell is an excellent attorney and I would highly recommend her. I was the victim of identity theft. Someone forged my signature on loan documents. The identity thief stopped making payments on the loan shortly after the account was opened. The fraudulent loan accounts appeared on my credit reports. As a result, I could not refinance my home and credit limits on my existing accounts were being reduced. I sent numerous letters to the credit reporting agencies and the banks with limited success. I was ultimately forced to file a federal lawsuit to protect my rights, my credit and my good name. I was able to get the fraudulent accounts removed from my credit reports and settled my case before trial. I signed separate settlement agreements with each named defendant. The terms and amounts of each settlement agreement are confidential.
John helped me through the entire process. He also took my case on a contingency fee basis. I did not have to pay any money out-of-pocket.
John was a beacon of light in a very dark time of not knowing and I would recommend him and use him again if needed.

An identity thief stole my identity and used my name and credit to purchase a house that belonged to his ex-wife. The identity thief only made a few payments on the property and let it go into foreclosure. The foreclosure appeared on my credit report as well as a homeowners association judgment for past due HOA fees related to the property. Needless to say, my credit scores were low and obtaining credit was nearly impossible. I did not know where to turn until I was referred to John Bazaz. He was able to walk me through the entire process. He was able to get the judgment vacated in state court. He then helped me dispute the foreclosure and judgment that still appeared on my credit reports. When the credit reporting agencies and the bank refused to delete the inaccurate accounts, he filed a federal lawsuit against them. I really do wish that I had done my research and gone to Mr.Kearney from the beginning. The first lawyer that I hired for my car accident was from a big name company in the area and a friend of mine who used to work for him recommended him so I thought what could go wrong. Practically everything from not getting back with me for two months, to asking me to resend paperwork that I had already sent in, to telling me that he doesn't believe that I would be getting much out of this case almost a year later!
