To begin with, their service charge is reasonable and there's no hidden cost at all. Mr. Gellman deploys different legal strategies when handling your tickets/summonses. Office staff is friendly and when you text Mr. Gellman directly he always responds immediately. I highly recommend their services.

Eric is great. He handled both the closings for our coop and the purchase of our house. He was a tremendous advocate and fighter, especially when our purchaser's attorney tried to argue that we needed to close on our coop the day after receiving final approval. Eric did not back down and both parties were able to reach a more reasonable resolution. Eric was also very helpful with the purchase of our home. He answered our questions in a timely manner which was very helpful for first time homeowners. I would recommend Eric for any real estate transactions in New York City.

Upon meeting with Myra, I felt so calm. I felt welcomed. Invited. She was not judgemental. I spoke to her on a Friday and she made time for me on Monday to meet. She spent over two hours with me listening and then answering my questions. She's so knowledgeable, so she made sure to explain everything. She's right there in the heart of Queens by the Courts, so she's on the front lines dealing with Family Courts. She validated a lot of my questions and I felt very informed, confident. I consulted her and then hired her. I wouldn't be able to do this paperwork, it's so confusing even though she explained to me how to if I chose to not go with her. She always checked on me and followed up on my calls and messages promptly. Understand, she is a working lawyer, in the courts - so for her to be so responsive when I knew how busy she was in the courts as well, I was so impressed. Kind, thorough and favorable outcome for me. Eternally grateful for her expertise. I feel very lucky to have found her, like a needle in a haystack.

I have worked with Mr. Silverberg for numerous cases over several years. Initially he was randomly assigned to represent me in a very complex custody case, involving medical issues, visitation and so forth. Mr. Silverberg went above and beyond to organize evidence that was complex. He took the time to learn about my toddler's medical issues and appropriate treatments. He fought hard in a long, drawn-out battle and we won with the best possible outcome. I later hired him to represent me for child support associated with medical expenses. In this instance, he was secured with an appropriate retainer and stood by me for years as the case was drawn out over the pandemic. When my daughter was much older, I was faced with another custody battle and assigned a different lawyer who was terrible. She was neglectful and arrogant (ironically with a good reputation). I got rid of her and got another randomly assigned lawyer. While kind, attentive and well known in Queens, the next attorney I got was no Rob Silverberg. I interviewed other attorneys and quickly realized no one even comes close to the skill and expertise with unrelenting drive and fight that Mr. Silverberg offers. The outcome of the case determined our future welfare and too important to take chances! If anyone is going to win, it is Rob Silverberg. Sure enough, it was worth every penny and more. He has a passion for winning and I needed a winner. Mr. Silverberg earned me the best possible scenario, even greater than my hopeful expectations. If you have a serious family court matter in Queens, look no further. Mr. Silverberg is the best of the best.

I hired Robert Silverberg for a family court matter which was the worst mistake of my life. Prior to hiring him, He came across as competent and willing to fight for the best possible outcome for me. That was not what I received once I hired him as counsel for both of my cases. Robert never listened to any of my concerns, or shared any real options nor strategies that would benefit my cases. He urged me to agree to the very first settlement offer. Not because it was the best possible outcome for me and my very small child but because it was a way to resolve the matter and get it over with he explained. He showed little to no interest in fighting for the best possible outcome, in fact he withdrew from my cases the day of trial because I expressed some of my concerns with him which caused me to have to obtain new counsel at the very end of my cases. This was a blessing in disguise because I couldn’t be happier now. I settled my case the very first appearance with the new counsel and walked away with a much better settlement. A settlement that’s fair, which was all I wanted.

Who kept his word in every way. Robert did not just represent me in accord with local law, he took the time necessary to fully comprehend and understand my case despite quoting me a flat fee for all activities related to the case. As such, he was able to fully represent me in the face much adversity and negotiate an outcome which was beyond my wildest imagination, assuring me he would follow up and ensure any Order the Judge filed was correct and agreeable to both parties. Before he even asked my name and what I needed, he asked whether I have paid the $75 fee yet. Then provided NO service at all, other than to tell me that "I don't really deal much with this" and "maybe they aren't processing cases at all right now". I asked for my money back, at which point he offered to "look into my intake sheet". I instructed him not to, that I don't need his services (since I no longer trusted him to do anything for me), and that I just wanted my money back. He responded that the consultation fee was nonrefundable, that the fee was to "learn about my case" and that unfortunately he can't help everyone who has a consultation. I wonder exactly WHAT "consultation" he is talking about that he felt entitled to take my money for???
