I received a Pink Summons violation (under penal code) with a short window to the scheduled arraignment date.
Attorney James Shalley handled it expertly, resulting in the Judge dismissing the case and sealing the public record with no court fees or fines. It will not appear on future background checks.
I found Attorney Shalley online. His website was unique in providing rich and clear legal and procedural explanations for people who received NYC Summons. I also liked his honest tone.
He responded to me promptly over the weekend. After initial emails and conversations, I hired him using his simple online form. Later he was prepared and efficient in preparing my defense, requesting additional information, and calming my nerves prior to appearing for me.
The NYC court system is disorganized, error prone and intimidating. I strongly recommend taking advantage of his expertise rather than going it alone.

My 20 years old daughter visited New York for the first time in her life alone during a spring break and made a mistake of trespassing in an area that was prohibited. She was lost and didn't realized where she was going. She was charged with trespassing and was summoned for a court appearance. However, She lives in Seattle so It was not possible to make it to the court in time. Mr. Shalley helped her charge to be dismissed and took care of her case so that it won't show on her record. I hired James to enforce promissory notes that had gone unpaid. He clearly explained what he was going to do in terms of contacting the people who owed me money, and if they didn't pay up after he sent letters, what the next course of action would be. If I could give more than five stars I would, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and it took five years before it went to trail. Ive only known him for about an hour before my trail, and I wish i had hired him sooner, in the court room he had facts and evidence to a Tee. He was able to get me the maximum amount that was allowed for my case, and it really put me at ease, not the money but how he interacts with his clients. This was my first court accident and sitting on the stands i felt so much more at ease. He really cares about his clients and can sympathize with them as well. Most lawyers only car about winning the case and the big check but he actually took his time to go over every piece of my case no matter how small it seemed. He was able to answer every question and never left me in doubt. The minimum amount for my case was $10,000 and he was able to reach the maximum 15 times over. Honestly the only lawyer youll ever need for a personal injury case.

Attorney Peter Thomas was assigned my case for trial in Queens County. I asked about him before I met him and found that he is both respected and feared. Respected as a prepared and experienced litigator and feared by his adversaries as lawyer who gets big money verdicts. While I was pleased to hear such feedback I was not sure if the facts of my case needed a guy like him. Turns out the other lawyer lied to the jury and made ups facts that were not part of my case. I saw Mr. Thomas politely rip into the other attorney and tell the jury to focus on my case. He was riveting to watch during summation. The jury was consulting for 2 days and gave me a great verdict. I was very pleased to have met him and had him as my lawyer. I have a new lawyer now and will always call Mr. Thomas for any legal questions.

Devang C. Shah is a kind, warm, centered, understanding man, who also happens to be an excellent Real Estate Lawyer. He explains everything, goes out of his way to be convenient to his clients and sees and solves problems before they really ever happen. I'm a areally streesful place right now and when I saw that there was something, unexpected in the seller's contract I got quite upset. Edward Vitale essentially held my hand thru my first time home buying experience; which can be both exciting and scary. I purchased a cooperative apartment, a process with a lot of back forth, between the co-op management, seller, bank, and lawyers. During this process, Edward explained to me everything that was going to take place, step-by-step. He presented a very realistic time-frame of when to expect closing. He was able to answer all my questions in a very clear, easy to understand, manner. I was very impresses with his professionalism, knowledge, and friendly manner.
During the progression, he reviewed with me the sales contract and proposed modifications that were for my benefit. He dealt fully with the other attorney without being outmaneuvered. Explained at closing all the documents I signed. Whenever we met, he was very flexible and accommodating to my schedule and always returned messages in a timely manner.

Mr. Davis is a fantastic attorney. He's a brilliant lawyer, very articulate, and someone of very high integrity. I am a white-collar professional who was issued a DAT for an unfortunate incident. Mr. Davis was very honest about the various possible outcomes of my case, but worked diligently for the best possible result. Ultimately, he got my case dismissed in an expeditious manner. He is also very patient, will make himself immediately available, or call you back when you need to get a hold of him. His accessibility was particularly important to me as I am someone who was completely unfamiliar with the criminal justice process. Olga handled my very challenging divorce. Trust me challenging is only the tip of the iceberg. She took over my case after 4 previous years of difficulty. Nisnewitz Esq. to represent her as her legal advisor, and counsel for a claim against the conglomerate Insurance Co.
