Shafi is truly an incredible and skilled immigration lawyer. From our very first meeting with him, my wife and I knew that he was the right person to handle our case. We had consulted with several other lawyers before, and many of them told us that our case would be extremely difficult. However, within less than 7 months of sending in our application her case was approved with no issues at all.

I received a Pink Summons violation (under penal code) with a short window to the scheduled arraignment date.
Attorney James Shalley handled it expertly, resulting in the Judge dismissing the case and sealing the public record with no court fees or fines. It will not appear on future background checks.
I found Attorney Shalley online. His website was unique in providing rich and clear legal and procedural explanations for people who received NYC Summons. I also liked his honest tone.
He responded to me promptly over the weekend. After initial emails and conversations, I hired him using his simple online form. Later he was prepared and efficient in preparing my defense, requesting additional information, and calming my nerves prior to appearing for me.
The NYC court system is disorganized, error prone and intimidating. I strongly recommend taking advantage of his expertise rather than going it alone.

Devang Shah provided prompt, detailed legal support through every step of the closing process for our Forest Hills cooperative apartment. He efficiently assisted in the rapid resolution of last minute issues presented by the buyer. Devang C. Shah is a kind, warm, centered, understanding man, who also happens to be an excellent Real Estate Lawyer. Mr. Davis is a fantastic attorney. He's a brilliant lawyer, very articulate, and someone of very high integrity. I am a white-collar professional who was issued a DAT for an unfortunate incident. Mr. Davis was very honest about the various possible outcomes of my case, but worked diligently for the best possible result. Ultimately, he got my case dismissed in an expeditious manner. He is also very patient, will make himself immediately available, or call you back when you need to get a hold of him. His accessibility was particularly important to me as I am someone who was completely unfamiliar with the criminal justice process. I had interviewed several other attorney's before retaining Mr. Davis, some who were overly alarmists and quoted exorbitant fees for a relatively minor case.
