My coworker and I approached Edgar Law Firm for a class action lawsuit. John was very helpful, telling us the options, how things would be handled, and what to expect in most cases. He flew to our location for depositions, kept us informed throughout the lengthy (thanks COVID) process, and always treated us with respect and consideration. After a lengthy situation with another law firm insinuating itself into our case and landing the case is appellate court, we got a result in our favor.
I would recommend Edgar Law Firm if you are considering a lawsuit.

I just read the review from Mindy and it seems that she might have some issues that shes not wanting others to know. I've had nothing but positive and professional experiences with him and his law firm always. I've known him and he's represented me for the last 10 years. Times have changed and cash app is used by businesses everywhere. Im not sure what this girl has up her sleeve but if she was tape recording it seems she was trying to set something up! Matt is a very good attorney and gets you results... Looks like he was being nice and gave you a discount if he only got $400. Especially on a house call! Sorry, it just bothered me when i read this bc she's attacking his character and Matt is very compassionate and cares about his clients!

Took my 5k and then spent the next 2 years telling me he had other important cases and had no time to work on mine. Other professionals in the field call him Tony bologna. That should give you an idea about this crook. When I fired him he refunded me $500. Stay away.

Tony Stein was referred to be from another Real Estate Investor. Tony quickly assessed our situation, replied to a frivolous lawsuit, strategically counter-sued the party, and won a 1-day trial when he put our opponent on the stand. Our case, although frivolous in nature, concerned us because false claims of fraud were levied and Mr. Stein, from our first meeting through our day of trial and the Judge’s decision in our favor on all issues, handled the case as the true tactician and professional he is. Tony is the most fair attorney we’ve ever interacted with - he wil never over bill. It was sweet to receive the check from the accuser. Tony flipped the case and won on presenting a concise, intelligent gent factual case on our behalf. I can’t recommend Tony often enough, and I would always call him first for any legal question or concern.

CARTER LAW IS THE ONLY CALL YOU NEED TO MAKE! The attorneys and staff at Carter Law are all absolutely amazing! I must have contacted at least a dozen law offices before I found there's. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they were the first ones to make me feel like I was more than just a potential paycheck and they were the ONLY ones who did! They genuinely care about the people they represent and didn't mind how many questions I had or how often I called or emailed with them. I know they have to be swamped with cases but they were always very patient and more than willing to take the time to help me. We used Doug previously and he was able to achieve a settlement on our behalf, albeit a small one in comparison to what we believe we deserved. After he got paid, communication completely discontinued. We received a 1099 that included the money he was paid. We had to pay taxes on this. It was not insignificant. We reached out to him about this. No response. We also contacted him in regards to another potential claim. No response.
Unfortunately, it's our opinion that his law firm is a perfect example of "take the money and run." Absolutely no communication after they got their money.
Sad. It's especially sad because we were treated like friends all the way up to the settlement. 100% fake.

He treated me in the most unkind way. The reviews on here have to be FAKE. I had a case where my daughter was o the spectrum and was bitten by a dog and he rushed me to settle and then threatened me. All that I got out of that was a couple hundred dollars. I think he knew the doctor who owned the dog. .

Contacted Mike prior to meeting with him and explained who dr.'s were involved over the phone. Stated that I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Met with him. However, wasn't told there was a conflict of interest until after he reviewed my medical records when I called him the next day. Dr.'s involved didn't change from one day to the next.

I contacted them at the end of February concerning a Replevin action, help with the paperwork. I am an abuse victim with a PFA in Kansas, he has everything I own in Missouri. The "Cheif Operating Officer" contacted me and set an appointment to discuss. I let her know I could do it on my 30min break, agreed on a time and date. No call, no answer. Called 45mins late. My work, understanding my situation, allowed me to take time for the call. Explained my case. A week later I was told that the Managing Partner would take my case. That I would need to put $5000 in an account. Top it up whenever they take charges. Evergreen Retainer. I thought this seemed excessive for help with paperwork. I asked what the anticipated costs would be. She answered "That is something you would need to discuss with an attorney should you wish to proceed with Harrah Law. I can provide you with our billable rates." Provided rates list. I then asked if it would be possible to speak with an attorney first, before making the commitment and depositing $5000. The response, "I will see if our managing partner will make an exception as this is not our usual practice." Not our usual practice... So, give us $5000 to take from, which you must top up, with absolutely zero knowledge of what we will be doing for you or any idea of how much it will cost. Scary! Every other attorney has given a free consultation, and indicated that giving an idea of anticipated costs, a range depending, is normal. She told me that she would speak with the Managing Partner and get back to me. That was 7.5 months ago. Money, zero client care. Would not recommend.

Like all the other 1 star review they will take your money...then say you don't have a case and will be short with you and try to talk you out from moving forward because they know they will not get any money out of the case. Brian and his team barely wanted to communicate or give us updates, but they want to charge us on discussing on reimbursing us back for the remaining work they didnt want to do..seriously?! What a joke!

CARTER LAW IS THE ONLY CALL YOU NEED TO MAKE! The attorneys and staff at Carter Law are all absolutely amazing! I must have contacted at least a dozen law offices before I found there's. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they were the first ones to make me feel like I was more than just a potential paycheck and they were the ONLY ones who did! They genuinely care about the people they represent and didn't mind how many questions I had or how often I called or emailed with them. I know they have to be swamped with cases but they were always very patient and more than willing to take the time to help me. They made me feel like my case was the most important thing they had to do that day. The only thing I would have done differently was to CALL THEM FIRST! It's with great disappointment that I have to write this review. We used Doug previously and he was able to achieve a settlement on our behalf, albeit a small one in comparison to what we believe we deserved. After he got paid, communication completely discontinued. We received a 1099 that included the money he was paid. We had to pay taxes on this. It was not insignificant. We reached out to him about this. No response. We also contacted him in regards to another potential claim. No response.
