Visite otros Abogados para consultar sobre un proseso de asilo político, pero manifestaron que no hay asilo para Ecuatorianos o es muy difícil ganar el proceso solo se puede alargar para no ser deportados y que no teníamos suficiente evidencia para el proceso, el costo para cuatro personas sería superado los 30 mil dolares, un amigo me recomendó al Aboga Hernesto realizamos una cita presentamos los documentos y nos manifestó que teníamos un caso muy bueno, pedimos sus servicios el costo fue mucho menor a lo que otros Abogados decían, a los 9 meses ganamos el caso en primera instancia, el Abogado fue muy ágil y profecional nos atendió en todo despejo todas nuestras dudas, hoy en día ya tenemos nuestra residencia.

He asked for a retainer of $3000 upfront and did nothing except give me aggravation during such an upsetting time in someone's life. I constantly called him for about 8 months to just follow up if he had purchased an index number. He always kept blaming the process servers or others except himself. Once threatened to contact the New York County Law Associates, did he finally obtain an index number and have paperwork served on my ex. What a sloppy summons and complaint...corrections were done in pen and he obtained the index number and served paperwork this way. I decided to go with another attorney which did a great job but never got my money back from Gurskey, even after several phone calls and faxes. My plan was to sue him for my money back as he even promised my attorney in writing that he would reimburse whatever he did not use. I unfortunately never took any action and I never got any money back, which is something I regret.

This guy asked me $2500 to finalized my divorce and he didnt do anything. I have been 2 years and he still giving me the running around. I even told him I was going to report him to The Bar Assc and he didnt care. I called this guy weekly and nothing. Mr Gursky if you are reading this review you know who am you stole from me you promised me a job that you didnt do , I want my money back so I can finish this business. Hopefully some one look at this review and investigate you to find how many people you have done the same thing.

I hired Ms. Bachu on a few occasions. Each time she reinforced my assumption that she was not a good lawyer. In the last case I hired her for, she dragged it out for years. She billed me throughout -"billked" some might say- only to drop out of the fight in the end after demanding a retainer. My payments were always prompt, btw, and my only assumption for why she might do this is if she sensed my dissatisfaction with her performance and anticipated me taking my business from her. In our consultation before my defense, she promised a favorable outcome, and it was the only time she maintained a pleasant character. Meanwhile, for the entire duration of the case, she kept me in the dark about the details and progress of my case and all she could ever say was that she was "handling it," or "waiting on the other attorney". I would have preferred her honesty if she had told me of any potential difficulties and poor likelihood of success, or settlement options. In closing, she is rude and unprofessional in conversation, and had little to no concern for me as a client. She was belligerent and temperamental with me on several occasions and exhibits no compassion. There is bluntness and there is snobbery, Ms Bachu strongly exhibits the latter.
