Suzanne and her team were wonderful. If you need an attorney you need to contact her. The response to my questions or concerns were always quick. Since I've never gone through something like this before it's exactly what I needed. I didn't want to sit and wait for answers. There was so much to deal with Suzanne and her team were on top of everything. She would let me know if she was going to be out of town but that didn't slow down her replying to my emails. Just outstanding service and respect from the entire staff. She was also a calming influence when the other attorney was slow to move things forward. She could tell I was getting anxious. Suzanne explained what was going on and politely reached out to the other attorney to move the process forward. I always felt like they cared about me and wanted to make this a less stressful process and they did.

Suzanne and her firm quickly become like family. They do their best to keep fees down (she's not a magician, and it can be expensive, but that depends on how the opposing team acts and how much work you're willing to do on your own, how organized you are-and how well you LISTEN). She'll be upfront and honest about what can happen, even if it's not what you want to hear. She won't promise something if she's not certain she can deliver. She and her firm are some of the few attorneys in the Memphis area who understand what to expect and what to do in a domestic violence situation.
My case was both contentious and complicated (involving 2 states), but she took charge after being hired mid-case and worked at warp speed (as far as courts are concerned). I never once set foot in a court room until the final hearing where my divorce was granted. I still consult with her and her associate as things come up, as I still have a little guy to protect.
Landers Firm is the ONLY family law firm in Memphis that I would personally recommend. My only regret was that I didn't find her until after I had already filed.

Clay represented my wife and me in litigation involving a car accident that she was involved in. It was a very serious accident with multiple vehicles, injuries, and fatalities involved.

Scott has proven to be professional while providing legal counsel on matters. His communication skills, both, written and verbal, leaves you with a good understanding of what your legal options are. He gives you multiple options , both pros and cons, on his legal approaches in presenting your case. But, he let you have the final decision.

There isn't enough glowing words to express the professionalism, communication standards, and measurable results achieved by hiring Matthew Kirby. After 17 months of no results with an out of state case, I hired Mr. Kirby to represent a workers compensation claim that was getting no where. A sum of 2 years ago I was charged with 6 aggravated assault charges, and later the DA felt I got the lesser charges so they decide to charge me with first degree attempted murder. I was arrested October 28, Mr. Reaves came on the 30th just two days after, I was impressed. When we first talked and he gave me a consultation he made sure he let me know that he will fight for me to the fullest extent. I didnt expect to much but I wasn't in full belief because I was in a city that wronged me, but over the course of 21 days in jail attorney Reaves built my confidence by displaying his incentive, knowledge, and determination. I was his first criminal case, so in all other metaphors he took those gloves off and prepared to win. He knew what possible outcomes could take place but his diligence allowed him not to be defeated. Even though I had no criminal history and I was eligible for first offense diversion he didnt take no plea, even when I was reindicted for the higher charge he never gave up on me. During the course of 2 years we had several trials and although he was a civil attorney he went against two of the most respected defense attorneys Memphis had to offer. But Mr. Reaves was prepared for them and surprised them as well. In the end result I can still be an engineer with my clear name because he was triumphant. I owe him so much more then money and gratitude he saved my life and I'm eternally grateful. If you ask me what Lawyer is the best for any situation civil and or criminal I will say attorney Reaves. He knows the value of your life and your possessions and he will fight for them with all he has.

I got a notice for a second interview in July 2024. I was worried and was wondering why another interview was requested. Attorney Wafula prepared me for my interview and encouraged me to remain calm and trust in God.
She was there every step of the way. During the interview I was giving a RFE which we submitted the same month. I am happy to say my 10yrs Green Card finally came this month. Drew was very helpful in processing my case. I had been charged with a DUI, substance, and reckless driving. He was very informative on the possible outcomes and predictions of where the case would go. After receiving the results Drew quickly knew the best method for a beneficial result. He got them initially to drop all charges except for reckless driving. He recommended we not plead on that charge. Within an hour of the initial deal Drew returned with a full dismissal. Malcolm represented me in a consumer protection case in mid 2015. He was very understandable and listened to my concerns carefully and gave the most honest recommendations including- the best or worse possible outcomes from the case. He did not pressure me to make any decisions, rather would advice and give me enough time to make my own decisions in accordance to what I was comfortable with.
His communication skills were excellent. He literally informed me about every new finding and details about the case as soon as he can- through email, text or phone call. If Malcolm were running late for a meeting, he would call and inform me about it and even give the reason as to why he is late.
Malcolm is kind. For services that I could not afford, he referred me to the Memphis Area Legal Organization to aid me with some form of assistance. He also provided me with invoice documentation of every cost of his excellent services. Prior to my case, his good heart was also shown when he donated his car to benefit an organization I was working for as an intern- the Church Health Center, a clinic providing coverage for the working uninsured poor in Memphis.
He is a fast thinker, calculates his opponents’ thoughts wisely and makes a smart moves based on that. Due to his demands, the company I was suing was willing to drop the case even before heading to court and reimbursed me with enough money to recover my property. And with wonderful twists to the story, it was also featured on the commercial appeal newspaper. Malcolm is an excellent lawyer. I would highly recommend him for all your legal services matters.
