I am a Senior and am a bladder cancer survivor. Because of my treatment I have very little time when nature calls. I was speeding on the freeway in an attempt to make the next exit. The police officer had little understanding and I was give a citation for a significant amount over the speed limit. I contacted Katz Law and received an IMMEDIATE response. As a business professional, I have required legal services for countless situations over my lifetime. Mostly for normal business dealings, though a few were more adversarial in nature. In either case, selecting the best attorney for the situation is obviously important. When our family was faced with a situation involving a family member being falsely accused, I found myself out of my element as family law was an area I had never needed to explore. I did know however, not having the best attorney in this particular case would mean a devastating outcome and a tarnished record that would haunt us for a very long time.
My vast and extensive research brought our family to Usow Law and thank goodness it did. Simply put, Jody Usow is an extraordinary attorney in every way. From the beginning, she was great at managing the expectations, the process and our family. Even though our emotions and frustrations would sometimes run wild due to the unjust accusations, Jody always managed to recenter us and focus on the law and her plan to succeed.
Jody's experience and overall strategy in dealing with the opposition was brilliant. I was very impressed with her proactive tactics that set the stage for a favorable outcome. Watching Jody in the courtroom was a sight to behold. Measured and mild-mannered up until the petitioner's testimony became clearly disingenuous, and the lion was unleashed. In this day and age when we have so little accountability, it was thrilling to watch a dishonest person eviscerated on the witness stand during cross-examination due to their lack of integrity and vengeful actions. Needless to say, Jody was so compelling in the courtroom that the case was dismissed without her client (our side) ever needing to testify. Jody brought this 4-month nightmare our family was living, to an end!

I initially hired Jody to assist with a temporary restraining order case I was facing where my child’s mother over exaggerated an argument and lied to police to get the TRO. Jody stepped in last minute literally the day before, heard my story, met me at court and represented me for the hearing. The TRO was granted but Jody being the realist she is, let me know going into the hearing that it would likely be granted and why. Even then I appreciated her honesty and willingness to represent me on such short notice. After the TRO hearing my child’s mother decided she did not want me to see him so I continued to work with Jody with the goal of getting 50/50 custody and placement. Jody has proven to be a beast in the court room at every hearing we’ve had. She is very professional, down to earth, respected by the court and she knows her stuff! Her assistant Nick is just as awesome! We all worked together to accomplish the end goal and they were both very professional, nonjudgmental, and willing to educate me every step of the way. Nick even took the time to call and find out officers were in office, and ride his bicycle to the district to serve them for a court hearing the next day because they had not been able to be reached or served. I enjoyed working with Jody and her staff especially with this all being new to me, she would always answer my very long emails or phone calls in a timely manner, she worked with my family members/friends who were helping me with testifying or confirming information, and she understood how important it was to me to be apart of my sons life and have him be apart of my family and his siblings lives. She took time to educate me on what was happening throughout the entire custody battle and was patient with me when I did not do my part in a timely manner. At the end of my case, I got everything I wanted 50/50 placement and custody, even with the mother having representation and even with the TRO in place- which was a blessing in disguise because Jody fought for the mother and I to have court ordered communication through Our Family wizard where everything is documented for lawyers or the court to be able to access with no way for parents to delete information. Jody has been a huge blessing to me and my family and was worth every penny! Even after my case closed she followed up, gave me great advice and encouraged me to reach out to her if needed. I highly highly recommend and she will be the first name I give to anyone going through any family court disputes.

I was extremely panicked when I contacted my local lawyer regarding an out-of-state traffic ticket issue that became a very serious issue for me. They referred me to Andrew Mishlove.
He was able to convince the WI ADA to look at my case and consider a lower plea, reducing the ticket such that it is no longer a problem! I highly recommend the Mishlove team! They did not let me down!

Andrew not only helped me though a very traumatic experience by giving me honest, blunt advice, but after he looked at my case he gave me his "gameplan" on our defense and it made total sense! From his very first consolation to the end, he never told me what I wanted to hear (like other lawyers told me) & always gave me excellent legal advice.
As for the court room...Andrew is a BULLDOG! He filed at least 4 or 5 motions that were denied by the judge, but he didn't quit. My next phone call, he had a different strategy in mind, and when he took that to the Milwaukee County DA, he chose to dismiss all charges. WOW!
Also, Andrew has been around in the DUI game for over 30 years! It seemed like he knew everyone & everyone knew him. I know personal contacts are not supposed to mean anything in the justice system, but come on, we all know...it's who you know!
It is true, Andrew is more expensive than other attorneys, but you have to consider what you are getting for the higher fee. You could go with a PD, but they have so many cases and aren't paid alot, so your odds are terrible! I'm sure they're are some hard working PD's out there, but let's be honest. Then you could go with a lawyer that charges less but I guarantee you will get what you paid for!
With Andrew, you do get what you paid for...a HIGH class DUI defense with a super knowledgeable attorney who will fight his tail off for you.
If it's not obvious...I HIGHLY recommend Andrew Mishlove with all my being!

In 2014, I was charged with a first-time OWI in Wisconsin that was due to prescription drug use. It was clear to me that it was going to prove to be a very difficult case, so I searched extensively for the “best” attorney I could find in the Southeastern Wisconsin area. I met and spoke with several of the “best” recommended. There were some “best” attorneys who weren’t even interested in representing my case as they deemed it was “unwinnable” and not “worth their time”. I was shocked by that response. Luckily I found Andrew Mishlove. While Andrew never said he was going to win my case, he also never said it was not “winnable”. Andrew was honest, straight-forward and very direct. He always told me like it was and never sugar-coated anything. I was always aware that I could lose, but I knew I wanted to attempt to win with Andrew. It was the BEST decision I have ever made; one that could have had very serious repercussions to my personal and professional life. Andrew and his team treated me with the highest level of respect and courtesy for the entire duration. Andrew is firm, but kind and caring. He researched everything and went the length to find professionals in pharmacology who could represent me if and when needed. I truly appreciated that. I was 20 years old when I was in my car accident. I had no idea what to do or who to trust, and after suffering a concussion, the idea of a legal battle was beyond overwhelming. I chose Domnitz & Domnitz based on their reviews rather than the big ads for personal injury lawyers I had seen and I’m so glad I did. From the start, I was treated with such respect and patience. Noah made me feel confident in choosing to work with him right from the initial phone call. He was patient and clear with me, and had no issue re-explaining things since my concussion made processing fairly difficult to do. Catherine La Fleur is a very credentialed and highly experienced attorney, and she has an office of lawyers working under her… As an entrepreneur with many business holdings, I understand the skill needed to run a business and develop a team to execute goals.
My case was centered on enforcing a prenup so I can regain control of my assets in lieu of divorce, and I went to Attorney La Fleur for representation and she provided me with her associate Nick Wanic to handle the case with her direct oversight.
What I wish to convey most is that the quality of Cathy’s work and her intelligence is present in her associates, and working with her associates IS working with Cathy.

This morning, I met Attorney Blau for a scheduled appointment to review my situation to see if we should proceed with a case. Going through a legal process for personal injury from a healthcare provider is quite intimidating, but meeting Attorney Blau today was wonderful. Although pursuing a lawsuit would not be economically feasible for my situation, I really appreciated the education regarding legal proceedings in the state of WI that Attorney Blau shared with me. He is really a nice, down to earth guy and if I ever needed any legal help, I know exactly who to call. I also liked that their office had a parking lot where i could park my car for free instead of being downtown. Just wanted to share my good experience & give 5 stars. A family member recommended Megann and her firm after we relocated to Wisconsin. While my wife and I had some ideas and a few priorities concerning our trust needs, a thorough and friendly discussion with alternative approaches to consider, helped clarify what we wanted to accomplish. Perhaps needless to say, there were perspectives we had not thought about.
In terms of process we had an initial meeting that focused on what we wanted to do, especially regarding children and grandchildren. There was a follow-up phone call with a couple questions she had raised. Shortly thereafter a first draft document was mailed to us for review and comment. Several weeks later we had a second meeting to discuss the draft and make any changes that followed that discussion. That meeting led to the final meeting where we signed the documents. About two weeks later the copies of those were mailed to us. Incidentally, our second meeting was done through Microsoft Teams at our request since we don't live in Milwaukee.
Both my wife and I strongly recommend Sage Legal Group for both their expertise and the way they communicate.

My wife slipped on ice and fractured her shoulder at a local business. The business had ample time to take care of the Wisconsin winter conditions but neglected to do so. We were hoping to get the medical bills and ambulance ride covered but Thadd understood how much my wife suffered and explained how a settlement should work.
