Before I was referred to Magen, I had consulted more than four lawyers to review my husband immigration case. All of them brushed me off, or quote me an outrageous amount of money because they consider the case to be extremely difficult if not impossible. Being referred to Magen Kellam was a blessing! from the first consultation appointment, I felt respected and heard. Magen is incredibly trustworthy, professional, and kind. I didn't feel like I hired her, but instead, she accepted "my case", which was indeed difficult but not impossible like other lawyers had stated before. Brantley represented my interest in a divorce settlement. He is a true professional...he's calm, knowledgeable, and logical in his approach to family law. Amazing! His rates are fair and his work is succinct and efficient so his billing time reflects these efficiencies as well. You get money's worth and then some. I wasted thousands of dollars on a high profile attorney he did nothing but dance back and forth with another attorney with meaningless emails. He gets it done.

I had a major speeding violation in addition to several other speeding tickets in near past and was helpless, until I hired him to defend me against State of Florida, He is the best lawyer I ever had, He listens to you and understands your case and situation, he cares about his client like I was his own friend or family member . He walked me through the process and explained to me different situations that I might end up having but he said that he will do his best to help me resolve this issue, and resolving he did. make the long story short, after second hearing in front of a second judge in collier county , my whole case was tossed out as if I never had this violation.I strongly recommend this lawyer . We recently had a will & living will done by Attorney Brian McNamara . Something we have been putting off for years as we assumed it would be complicated & just didn’t want to take the time , even though it’s something you only do once , unless you have it revised later . I gave Brian all the information over the phone & a few days later we went & signed everything. It was much easier & less confusing than we anticipated. I didn’t have to make a list of our assets or anything complicated at all .
The meeting in his office was very professional & social distancing was practiced very carefully & everyone including the witnesses at signing wore masks . Brian is very relaxed & doesn’t have the egotistical halo that most attorneys have. Also his fees were very fair . I checked around before & he was the least expensive . That wasn’t the factor why we chose him . When I initially called his office I got to talked to him & he took the time over the phone to explain all the details of a will and/or trust. Mr. Caseros contacted the ;water from the bank explained to him the said property in question was filed in the bankruptcy, HOA fees and all loans and debts. Also, used a lawyer for probate of her estate and no contacted was made to me from any creditors, case was filed with the court. The banks lawyer wrote back and said that I owed nothing and was not liable, they were just making sure. Mr. Caceros however cautioned me to keep an eye out for any other contact the banks lawyers make with me and if so contact him immediately. very happy with his work and the piece of mind Mr. Cancerous gave me.

As a family law attorney, I have used Ms. Chernoff many times as a mediator. I highly recommend her as a family law mediator. She is prompt, knowledgeable of the law and effective. Family law matters are always contentious and no one is happy but as a professional I see her working hard to settle difficult matters. Ms. Newberry has helped with quite a few legal issues. The first was a violation of probation for my DUI. At court the only thing I asked for my Public Defender to do for me was have it to where i could work off my fines in court costs, which was accepted by the judge. When I reported to probation they had no record of this and when I was informed by my probation officer and public defender that there was nothing I could do I turned to Ms. Newberry for council. She met with the state attorney and I was then able to work off my fines in community service hours. Ms. Newberry kept me informed of what was going on the whole time and always got back to me when I had questions in a timely matter. They also violated me for probation when my scheduled counseling went longer then my probation through no fault of my own but the facility I was required to go to was backed up. Ms. Newberry was there to help me by telling me what documents to acquire for my hearing so I wouldnt get punished for the violation.
Most recently I had an incident occur where I felt that the law was not on my side. (Police officers) I felt powerless. But after meeting with Ms. Newberry shes made me feel like I can fight it. Shes very knowledgeable and passionate about her work and explains the laws to me in ways that I can understand them.
I would definitely recommend Ms. Newberry for council. She cares about her clients and makes you feel like you're a priority and not just another case number.
