I recently reached out to June to have her review my independent contractor agreements. I was extremely satisfied with both my experience and her expertise in business law.
June’s attention to detail when editing, revising and updating my contracts was very much appreciated because it assured me I wasn’t getting a “cookie-cutter” contract, as I have unfortunately received in the past. Having a business where the day-to-day operations and structure is constantly evolving, means you need the best and should accept nothing less than that when it comes to attorneys and your legal team.
I tend to ask a lot of questions, and June didn’t hesitate to answer them all; even when that meant researching or checking in with other professionals in the industry. June is very professional, easy to talk to and gets back to you promptly (always a plus!).
I met with June in person, had conversations over the phone and through email and I would most certainly recommend her for anyone looking for a good business attorney. She makes things very clear and easy to understand, which is always appreciated when working on and trying to navigate legal documents and/or contracts. I found Adam Greely through Avvo and was pleasantly surprised how quickly I was able to meet with him for a free consultation. Since I was impressed with his knowledge of Bankruptcy law, I hired him right away. I was forced into a situation where I needed to hire a Bankruptcy attorney because I was trying to collect on an arbitration award and the other side was threatening Chapter 11 (through another Bankruptcy firm) if I didn't negotiate the terms of payment with them. Mr. Greeley laid out my options in layman's terms for me and was available to handle my case in a very timely manner. I believe he helped me resolve this quicker and more efficiently than if I would have tried to have my existing attorney negotiate with the other side instead. This potentially saved me a lot of time, aggravation and money as a result. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody that seeks a professional that is well-versed in bankruptcy law, who is also a great communicator as well!

Most Important, in AZ Superior Court when a Jury gives a verdict completely in your favor (and the defendant's run from the courtroom) you know you have a great lawyer. Then the Jury is allowed to speak with everyone on their reasoning....and we were favored because they liked Joe O'Connor's smile and demeanor over the defendant's present 2 lawyers and he focused on winning our case instead of getting sidetracked on Defendants counterclaims and other 10 different suits and formal complaints. He litigated against a total of 5 Attorneys on this involving this Contract including an insurance company and Registrar of Contractors. From same Defendants, he won multiple claims in Registrar of Contractors with his partner Durfield, proved a false forgery charge with Maricopa Sheriff in our favor, appealed one issue and won. He focused us during our time of crisis to regain our reputation. We are very fortunate that O'Connor is likeable to a Jury, but mostly his is the only only lawyer we like. He is highly recommended.

Attorney Ryan Tomalas and his staff went above and beyond my expectations representing me from a horrible dog attack.
Between Mr. Tomalas and his secretary Porsche, they were so kind and sympathetic walking me through this difficult situation I faced.
Mr. Tomalas was thorough in asking me questions on my case as well as consulting those who were involved in my initial ER visit at the hospital, personal physician, my insurance company, physical therapist, plastic surgeon, photographer for injuries, etc. On the other side, Mr. Tomalas and staff represented me in regards to the dog owners insurance company making sure I was compensated according to the laws of the state of California and my personal situation. Mr. Tomalas made sure all expenses incurred from this dog attack were paid from the settlement; I didn't have to do anything, nor would I have known what to do.
The Tomalas law firm gave me a peace of mind after the dog attack leaving me to heal instead of worry.

Mr. Bathen was recommended by a fellow school administrator to help me resolve a major contract issue with the school board of a private school. He reviewed all my documents, reviewed school policy manuals and other school documents. He presented multiple options with pros and cons for each. It was clear to both of us that although the school board was trying to do well, they did not know how to proceed legally nor in ways that would preserve the integrity of the school and for me. Mr. Bathen was a wonderful advocate for me but also helped the school board find ways to achieve their goal of transitioning to a new administrator and doing it well. I would highly recommend Mr. Bathen to any school board or administrator who needs assistance in the area of employment practice.

I came to Bentley & More when I was rear-ended really bad and I was having bad problems from the accident and the insurance company was playing to many games with me. I looked at all the other lawyers out there that you see on TV and hear on the radio that promise you the world, how much success they have had in the past and how great they are. Bentley & More was the most professional one I had talked to that treated me like family and not just another client like all the rest.
I sat down with them in our initial meeting, they explained everything they were going to do for me and how the process works and I mean the whole process. I was able to go home read all the paperwork and if I had any questions, they walked me through it all until I was perfectly satisfied and completely comfortable. All the rest of the firms wanted me to sign right away before I left and I just tried to push me through before I could really understand what was about to happen. Heaven forbid I wanted to take time and read and understand or have a question, just was not comfortable but they didn't care, all I heard was " Are you going to sign up or not. "
So of course I went with the firm that showed me well done is better then well said, I signed with Bentley & More and I am so happy I did. They assigned me one of their associates Nico Mamone, he was a Rock Star Lawyer, with as I was to find out, an incredible reputation. Nico worked with me throughout the whole process as the insurance companies lawyers tried to dig in their heals and gave super low payouts. Nico was very forthright with me and told me what he wanted to do before he did it and told them NO at ever turn and called all their bluffs.
Nico was very well prepared and ready to go the distance and prepare for trail, they kept playing games and moving our court date back but Nico never wavered. I had his personal phone number and was a complete bother but he never was not there and talked me through all my issues. This was a long process but knowing ahead of time what the process was and having him there to always answer my calls was a godsend.
The trail was 1 month away after it had been moved back 3 times but we went into mediation and Nico was so ready and I mean so ready it was scary. So when our case was presented to the judge and client they knew they had to settle this case, they were going to lose and they didn't want to go to court. The case was settled in two sessions of mediation because Nico would not give in to their small offers, he had a number which we agreed on before hand and would not budge. They said they need more time to come up with more money and we settled in the first 2 hours of the second session for a lot more then our original number we had in mind. If that isn't a Rock Star, I don't know what is.
The settlement is life changing and will ensure my family and I will be well taken care of medically and financially for life. Thank you Nico for all the hard work, fighting for my family and I and making this long and arduous process so much easier then it really was.
Bentley & More is the place to go if your really need a good law firm who cares about you as a person and isn't just willing to settle to make a quick dollar. I will be telling all my friends and family if they find themselves is this kind of unfortunate situation as I was in and oh yea, ask for Nico the Rock Star too. Thank you for everything, I am getting emotional well writing this because I am so grateful.

I was dealing with this counselor on civil matters, when I had a long forgotten criminal matter pop up. Ms. Lockhart assembled me a team of attorneys to handle my new "needs". Kept me and my mother informed and visited me in the jail, all the while handling my personal business as well. If you want counsel that can fight for you, represent you and advise you on legal matters, without making you feel stupid, like a customer or insignificant, I recommend you retain her.

I am not a person who will jump into a legal situation lightly. In a general conversation with Mr. Petrokofsky, I mentioned, in passing, some physical issues I was having. About 8 months prior, I had a slip and fall, but thought nothing of it. He merely mentioned that I should be looked at by a doctor, any professional orthopedic doctor, to make sure I had no issues from that. Thankfully, I followed his advice. I was diagnosed, and do have a permanent injury. Because of our conversation, his reputation for professionalism and knowledge, I retained him to represent me to a fair settlement in a very short period of time. His recommendations, knowledge, interaction with all concerned, were impressive and non-inflammatory. It was a pleasure working with him.
I would highly recommend him, and most certainly, would retain him again.

I am a small business owner and I had heard it was a good idea to have an insurance attorney review the policies offered to my small business. Because of Michelle's experience in insurance litigation, she was able to foresee issues that might come up from a different perspective than my agent. She gave very smart advice about what types and amounts of insurance I needed. Michelle also was able to successfully and quickly end a dispute with a seller who was refusing to take back his inferior equipment. We were certain this was headed for court, but Michelle sent the seller a few letters and he backed off fast. He took back his equipment and returned our significant purchase price. I recommend this lawyer because she knows how to avoid legal disputes but when they happen, the other side probably will be intimidated.
