Bob was referred to me by a dear trusted friend. I purchased a commercial property in 2013 along with 3 other individuals. Those 3 individuals were related to each other, not to me. 3 years later 2 of the 3 individuals approached me about selling my interest to them for $30,000. We had each invested $25,000. I declined their offers. Little did I know my 3 partners had already consulted with realtors, it turned out the property had over a half a million dollars in equity on an initial $100,000 joint investment. I found out months later the property was in escrow and I was never consulted or advised of the sale. These two brothers and their father intended to keep my initial investment and my more than $100,000 profit. You see one of the brothers is an attorney who thinks he is always the smartest guy in the room. It turns out that "Dim Bulb" attorney was no match for Bob Bright. Bob's last name is an incredible accurate adjective for who he is. Bob had 4 business days to effectively secure a temporary restraining order on escrow from the civil court. Escrow closed as scheduled all of the liens and third parties were satisfied and over a half a million dollars remained in the possession of the court. Litigation went on for an entire year. Bob was 10 steps ahead of my conspiring ex-partners at every stage. Bob's research on case law was amazing. My ex-partner, the attorney, was completely out matched. Bob ultimately negotiated a settlement prior to trial. I am not allowed to disclose the terms of the settlement. What I can disclose is that after Bob's fees were paid, my proceeds were far beyond what I would have received had my partners included me in the sale proceedings and not tried to abscond my investment and profit. The bad news is that my ex-partner the attorney will get to keep his law license for now. Bob Bright is beyond honest and he is always accessible.

I first met Bob, went he became our Company's Attorney. Bob, actually was much much more. He assisted us with Marketing, Research, Counsel, actually Bob was involved and gave counsel in every part of our business. It's not easy to separate your Business from your personal Relationship. with him.
Bob, was always responsive, willing to help, and gave very valued advice.
I can tell you that he is a highly knowledgeable lawyer, who if he doesn't know the answer will get it quickly. He works 24/7. I've spoken with him late at night, early in the morning, and when he was attending a friend's wedding.
I've worked with many Lawyers, and no one comes close to this man as a partner in your business. I could not give him a higher recommendation.

The number one thing that I can say about Shideh Balali is that she is the most affable attorney that I have ever encountered. She took the time to understand my issues and how they impacted my life overall, not simply in terms of the law; I felt like a person/friend, not just a client. Shideh did, however, maintain the utmost level of professionalism. She was also incredibly knowledgable about the interrelated issues that impacted my issue, which were, unbeknownst to me, crucial in my case. I am worried about where I would have been without her guidance. I cannot recommend Shideh enough!

Ben Phillips is an outstanding attorney.
Having Ben as my attorney was one of the best choices I made during a very challenging time. He came highly recommended to me, and I will always be grateful for those recommendations.
Going through a divorce can be emotionally draining. However, with Ben as my attorney handling everything superbly, I was able to focus on being a mom to my 3 children.
The moment Ben became my attorney, things started to quickly line up and shift in the right direction.
It was a very complex financial case with a very litigious husband of high net worth who was hiding assets. Ben is extremely intelligent, quick-minded, and organized. He is highly respected by judges and peers alike. Litigation comes naturally to Ben as he is extremely eloquent and well-versed in the law. He is an excellent litigator.

I had to endure a three year divorce process and learned a lot from it. First and mainly, I should have retained John "Ben" Phillips first off. I had three attorneys prior to retaining Ben and if you combined all three prior attorneys as a team, they could even come close to Ben's expertise in family law matters. The difference between an attorney and a great attorney is a great attorney can get the job done quickly.
Ben is highly organized and he knows the law regarding divorce, child custody and all other aspects of family law. Ben is a great negotiator as well as a great listener. His handling of the division of community assets and child custody issues in my divorce case left me great satisfaction. My retirement funds were a huge concern of mine and through Ben's negotiating skills, provided me with more than favorable results.
No one likes to go through a messy, complicated and emotional divorce. From my experience, I can tell you do not throw money away by just hiring an attorney(s). Retain the best attorney possible you can from the get-go who will work and fight for you with professionalism. I highly recommend Ben Phillips as absolutely the best family law attorney out there. Before my divorce I did know Ben but now I consider him a friend.

If you are looking for an attorney who is extremely smart, competent, effective, fair in billing, and empathic to your situation, then Ben is a great choice for your attorney. My divorce was complicated and my ex wanted to fight. Ben was able to keep the focus on the facts and keep track of the vast quantities of paper and rabbit trails that the other side created. He was quite organized and retained the relevant information such that when we finally did get to court, he knew exactly where to go to get the pertinent information/numbers. He did not allow the other side to "bully" me, which in fact they tried. I highly recommend Ben as an excellent lawyer who can handle just about anyone. By the way, don't be misled by his nice smile, young appearance and 6 years in practice... He is smart and he is a fighter!

I can't say enough about how amazing Ms. Howse is as a person and as an attorney. I retained Ms. Howes's services along with my 2 siblings during a really terrible time in our lives we had just lost our father and now needed to embark upon litigation against our fathers wife due to her intentionally interfering with our inheritance. Amy was so incredibly compassionate and understanding. She was incredibly thorough and patient with us because we had no clue what we were getting ourselves into. Amy walked us through every step of the way for almost 3 years. Hands down this was one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through but I never felt lack of support from Amy. She was open to hearing our thoughts and long winded explanations at times. She was protective of us when opposing counsel was attempting to bully us she was right there to back him down. She worked tirelessly and efficiently as we are young adults trying to fund a very expensive law suit. settlement offers that were better than both court judgements and expert recommendations) so I have needed their help repeatedly over the years, and I believe I have received the best representation possible. I don’t think there is ever such a thing as winning a custody case, but Mike helped me secure the desired end result.

Mr. James Ballidis represented myself in a Uninsured motorist coverage case. Geico insurance (my insurance company) refused to offer an award under my policy even with no issue of liability or comparative negligence. The case went to arbitration where the parties presented the nature of injuries and medical care necessary, and economic damages. Mr. Ballidis' preparation throughout the case was extremely thorough and his presentation and cross examination was damaging to respondents attorneys. The arbitrator even came to me on a side bar and complemented Mr. Ballidis " You are lucky to have such a good attorney representing you". Without going through the details of the entire case, I will close with "you too would be very lucky to have Mr. James Ballidis represent you." James destroyed the Geico's attorney and won the maximum award possible. My thanks to Mr. Ballidis and his firm Allen, Flatts, Ballids, & Leslie.

Approximately two years ago, I had the unfortunate experience of being in a rear-end car accident. The young women, who was texting did not even look up and hit me at around 40 mph. I suffered severe whiplash along with soft tissue damage of the back and shoulder.
After the shock wears off, you are confronted with doctor visits, hospital bills, decisions on where to fix your car and of course talking with your insurance company. It can seem overwhelming at the time and especially if you are in a lot of pain. Fortunately, I had known Jim Ballidis through our mutual business networking group and I knew exactly who to call.
Since this was my first accident, Jim explained the entire process of what I needed to do as well as what Allen, Flatt, Ballidis and Leslie would do for me. Jim's firm handled all communications with my insurance company, the car repair agency and towing yard. This allowed me focus on getting my health back so I could return to work.

In my opinion, Gary is the best family attorney in Orange County. Being an attorney myself, I consulted with every big name in town for my divorce.
