Pros:
1+ The attorney took the time to thoroughly read and understand my case, which was incredibly reassuring.
2+ She helped expedite my case, ensuring that it progressed efficiently.
3+ I was well-prepared for my hearing, thanks to her diligent coaching and guidance.
4+ Her expertise in immigration law was evident throughout the process.
5+ She has a solid understanding of what USCIS and immigration judges expect from immigrants, which added a lot of value to my case.
Cons:
1- The billing structure was a bit of a challenge. She charged for every communication made with USCIS ang Immigration court, which added up quickly. A flat rate would have been preferable for predictability.
2- Unfortunately, she had to reschedule my individual hearing at the last minute due to a personal trip. It was really frustrating as I had been waiting for it for so long.
Overall:
Despite a couple of drawbacks, she is highly skilled and effective at her job. I strongly recommend her for anyone navigating immigration matters.

I had just taken out a large loan for medical bills, when my company (which regularly has layoffs and may not be around much longer) offered a buyout instead of layoffs. I needed to know whether this would impact my unemployment eligibility, as the buyout wouldn't cover my bills, would leave me in abad job market and financially vulnerable.

My wife and I were dealing specifically with a claim for restitution in relation to a hit pedestrian in a DUI case. Admittedly, the $250 fee for a phone call struck me as odd as none of the other firms seemed to be requiring the same upfront cost. That said we wanted to cast a wide net in terms of attorneys and kept the meeting. Givelle was probably the 10th attorney we spoke to regarding our situation. Our frustration through the process was that many attorneys seemed intent to just handle pretty straight forward DUI cases. From our novice perspective, these attorneys did not seem to have a good grasp on the nuance of more complicated DUI cases and were for the most part not able to help us. Luckily, we were able to connect with Givelle. 5 minutes into our conversation, we knew that the $250 was going to be well spent. Our understanding of the situation by the time our consult was over was light years ahead of where it had begun. Givelle ended up not being the specialist we needed for the case in front of us, however after giving us much better insight in terms of what to expect from the courts she immediately connected us with an amazing attorney that has expertise in this niche arena. After spiraling for a bit, we finally feel like we are headed in the right direction thanks to Givelle's guidance. Prices are only expensive in the absence of value. That phone call was probably the cheapest $250 we've ever spent. If you're in a tough spot, this is a phone call you need to make.

Recently I needed some advice on a delicate matter regarding my employment and personal situation.

My previous lawyer worked on getting money from my debtor for years, but he continued to fail and my debtor started to threatened to file a bankruptcy. Then Mr. Ferris stepped in to be in charge and was able to garnish his wage and now I have been receiving money from the debtor. Mr. Estavillo consulted with me in a predatory foreclosure matter. He was succinct and sincerely wants to help the homeowners who were wrongly foreclosed.
His focus on the San Francisco/Oakland area makes his work even more impactful as predatory foreclosures are aggressive here. The homes are valuable and the lives of the homeowners almost irreversible changed if these foreclosures happen.
I am seriously considering hiring Mr. Estavillo. I would recommend anyone to contact his office if they suspect they are targets of predatory foreclosures.

My wife and I paid him $7500 all I really needed was for him to get a city police officer that is keeping us from our home to stop meddling cause he ( the cop ) is trying to help an agency squat our home but instead Mr Estavillo started reviewing recorded deeds from the county over billed us so he can keep the remainder of the retainer and if that wasn’t bad enough he was reviewing the wrong person all together and at the end just abandoned us. Good thing I know how to read title I transferred our title in to a trust and perfected title but the city cop is still keeping us from our home. That’s wrong Mr Jason Estavillo. Unfortunately I have to say I know he does know real estate, foreclosure and civil law and he is a great lawyer cause I call it as I see it. I just don’t understand why he didn’t want to help us when we paid him.

When a person is wrongly terminated it takes away more than your job. You loose the essence of who you are, your confidence, your trust in people, how you interact with the outside world. Three years ago, I was walking outside of Kmart when two friends and I were detained by I.C.E. in Fairfield California. I was held in a detention facility in Seattle Washington for about a month. I was very fortunate to have an old family friend, a lawyer, refer me to Deborah Dubroff . The first time I met Deborah, I knew I was in good hands and I felt a wave of relief wash over me.
