My case is not yet completed, and I wanted to write this before then...because for me, it is about more than a dollar amount. Working with John Winer has helped me realize what it is that happened to me; that brought me into his office. He has reminded me time and again that the injuries and batteries I endured were not my fault. I went to him at such a low and wounded point, and he met me there. Inch by painful inch he has brought me to a place of realization - that my attacker preyed on me, used me, and had the training and know-how to manipulate me. It was not my fault. Walking into John's office, I had lost the ability to trust anyone, least of all myself. A person I'd placed so much faith in, had completely destroyed me physically and verbally. John seemed to understand where I was, how I'd gotten there, and most importantly, how to put me back together and give me some power in making decisions about my case, and understanding how this horrible thing could have happened without my permission. There is much pain in growth sometimes. Its nice to have a person beside you who seems to really understand the feelings that go with these experiences. I have felt as safe as I am able with Mr. Winer handling my case. I'm very grateful to have found my way into his office, and to have had the honor of working with him.

I was unexpectedly terminated from my job of several years and felt very unsure on what to do. I was referred to Hillary, who told it to me straight about the Pro's and Con's of moving forward with a case. Talking to them felt very easy and they asked me solid questions that helped me understand what a case would look like going forward. During the consultation, Hillary was quick to understand what entities might be involved as well as what level of court this case could be taken to. They made it clear what kinds of benefits I could receive from winning a case like mine, but there could be some serious professional aftermath that could follow my career whether I win or lose. At the end of the call I realized that while I was terminated and my life wouldn't get put back together right away, I am asking the right kinds of questions to the right people. My Dad had just lost my Mom and was forced to file for Bankruptcy. I was lucky enough to find Joanna through my employer and she could not have been more helpful or understanding of our situation. My husband and I had to resort to filing bankruptcy due to extreme medical bills we incurred. We didn't know anything about the process. We were referred to Legal Helpers through a family member. Our case was assigned to Joanna Stevenson.

Mr Daley represented me in a California 290 sex offender registration problem. I was cited for not properly registering. Mr. Daley was able to present enough information and evidence to the judge in pre-trial that the DA dismissed the case. I hired Mr. Daley of the Innocence Legal Team last year (2012). My case was quite unique as there was virtually no case law relating to my situation. Mr. Daley was in constant communication with me in regards to the approach we had to take in order to resolve my issue. He explained to me in detail every aspect of what had to be done, how it would be done and other avenues we may have had to take if our initial case argument wasn't given merit through the case law available at the time. Mr. Daley did an outstanding job of finding pertinent case law that pertained to my situation and was proficient in representing me in court. The outcome was favorable for us and I can not thank him enough for his hard work.
I found Mr. Daley to be honest, communicative and extremely capable in his profession. I have dealt with several other attorneys who were unwilling or unable to provide the same high level standard I expect and received from Mr. Daley. About a year and a half ago I found myself in a malpractice situation, I didn't know where to go or what to do. I felt lost, Thankfully I found David Kleczek. First I called to make an appointment, which was quick and easy. Upon meeting him, I immediately felt at ease. Throughout the process he has always went above and beyond and helped me with everything and anything I needed. Prior to my being able to retire, I was "let go" from my position. As a professor, I had never received a bad review in my seventeen years of employment, and my students were very positive about my teaching. I had published books, represented my institution here and abroad and organized major colloquiums. My identity was wrapped up in being a professor, so I was at a complete loss about what to do when I lost my job. I will always be grateful for the help and understanding I received from William Corman. When he entered the picture, his sterling reputation was recognized by my former employers. His efforts on my behalf were taken very seriously. Any attempt I would have made regarding a settlement would have been dismissed. I ended up with a sum of money that would see me through a couple of years if I needed it. Time to pause and reflect on the future without the stress of financial hardship was essential -- required in order to think clearly and logically about how to go forward instead of falling into a lengthy depression. I had taken on a large company where I had worked for personal wrong-doing. I received a lot of rejections from other attorneys; however, I knew that I had a strong case, and knew I just needed to find the RIGHT attorney that saw what I saw in my case.
Then, I met Mr. Corman. He invited me into his office, and listen intently to what I had to say, asked questions, reviewed some documentation that I had. By the end of the meeting he told me that he would take on my case. He also gave me a clear and accurate assessment of how much the fees would be ( he stayed true to this to the end of the case). There were subsequent meetings after that, and he never gave up on me or the case - always keeping me apprised on the progression of my case.
To make a long story short - We won the case!!! Without Mr. Corman's dedication, and belief in me and my case - I could not have won. Thanks again, Mr Corman.

I hired Catherine Tang to respond to an action letter from the USPTO for my business. Catherine was fast, responsive and was quite fair with pricing. She’s one of the most ethical attorneys I have ever worked with. She did the work in far less time than all of the other attorneys quoted me. Approximately two years ago I was rear-ended in an auto accident. I had never been in this type situation hence, inexperienced on what to do...At a family function a family member mentioned Mr. Ochoa and highly recommended him. Subsequently, I engaged Mr. Ochoa to represent me with my claim. Over a span of the past two years, Mr. Ochoa was diligent, detailed, persistent and "spot on" in bringing our case to resolution. Mr. Ochoa was always professional - he is tenured, experienced and highly skilled in this area. Mr. Ochoa requested very accurate information of me personal and financial ( I did not like this as I did not think it pertintent) yet it was important in dealing with insurance entities. Mr. Ochoa, sent letters and supporting documentation to said insurance company reflecting validity to my claim. All in all, Mr. Ochoa was successful in bringing our case to closure with an award. Without Mr. Ocha's expertise I would not have been able to settle with such an award.

I was apprehended during a public gathering, disoriented and extremely unprepared for jail, my family hired Mr. Rudolph as my attorney. Court day came, I met him for the first time. His presence was a huge relief. We had a short convo about my info and asked me what did I want? I simply told him a burger, he promised me he'd get me a burger by that night. 3 hours later, got me through the judge and got me released on my way to my burger. This may seem silly, but he is one of the few attorneys that will actually treat you like a fellow human being and not as a client or defendant.

I had a protracted 7 year long divorce which may seem impossible given the laws in California but if one party has money and decides rules are not for them you find yourself in court. If I had not found Rosanne at the beginning I would not be where I am today. At age 56 you can't just walk away with noting and say I can start over. The reason I am whole now is because she not only knows the law, she makes it her business to research new case law and as a result of her diligence it made all the difference in what the court awarded to me. Her briefs are so well written many judges used her text in there judgements. I was in front of 4 different judges on my journey. I couldn't have done it without her. The first thing she did was try to settle out of court and ironically if my ex had accepted the offer which based on what California law said I was entitled to nothing more, he would have saved hundreds of thousand of dollars. She makes every effort to keep you out of the courts but if you find yourself in my position she is the one you would want representing and advising you.

Deborah Dubroff guided me through a very long, contentious divorce that involved all kinds of non standard stuff (QDROs, out of state moves, spousal support, even a contempt hearing). When I met her, I was immediately struck by her candor, razor-sharp wit, and her obvious generosity of spirit. What I mean by the last is that she took lots of time with me during our initial meeting and really listened to me. She made me feel like everything would be ok, and it was. I won the entire case, including a very large settlement. She strikes me as extremely honest. She always charged me very fairly. I've gotten myself into some situations. This year my dad died and my grandma entered a hospice facility. You name it and I've gotten into it. Well let me tell you. There isn't a better criminal attorney in Alameda County to do what needs to be done when the wheels come off in life. In case you didn't know James Phillip Vaughns was a Deputy District Attorney for Alameda County before becoming an AUSA(Assistant United States Attorney). If you were a secret service agent or an FBI agent who positively wanted to send someone to prison for a very long time and you were in the bay area, I suspect you worked with Phil to dot your I's and cross your T's.
I can tell you this. I have never regretted a dime I've paid Phil. I was never ever disappointed in the resolution of any matter Phil addressed on my behalf.

I’ve been involved with the family law court system for 4 years now. I’ve learned quite a bit. I’ve self-represented myself, and had other attorneys. I can’t recommend Alexandra enough.
I had a last minute emergency order handled by Alexandra. She was professional, timely, and communicated very well. If she wasn’t so responsive I wouldn’t have had my case seen in time.
Unfortunately family law can be ugly, and Alexandra handled my case in a manner that calmed me, and she communicated my options with clarity. She treated the other party with respect. My child is doing well with the split, and gets to see both parents.
Alexandra is realistic and doesn’t give unrealistic expectations. She also is a lawyer that you can trust and doesn’t use short sighted tactics such as making up issues with the other party. I highly advise getting a lawyer that is truthful and knows the system in the county that your case resides in. This is very important. I was naive and originally expected the court and mediators to be professional and fair. For the majority of my family law experience this was not the case. Some judges and mediators are fair yet many are biased without cause. Since parents will always be the parents to the child, it is very important to get a lawyer that doesn’t see only the short term and throw mud at the other party.
As long as the system has problems, you really need a good attorney.
