If you happen to be in the market and need a lawyer, I would highly recommend Mr. Knisbacher. Through a referral was how I meet Alden K., who worked on my compensation case for a few months. My former employer denied paying my last compensation/ commission check and this is when Mr. Alden came in. He was confident, extremely intelligent and seemed to always know what was coming next. Mr. John Kirke provided outstanding legal services as I was being sued by a much larger company who was trying to drown me in legal paperwork, a term called "crib death." Mr. Kirke was able to identify a significant weakness in their case and exploited that weakens into a very favorable settlement for me. He proved to be very intelligent and picked up on years worth of disputes very quickly. He has great ability to cut to the heart of the matter and not waste your money on excessive legal fees. I was 100% satisfied with the way he handled my case.

Let's face it: you never want to have to hire an attorney. But when someone has done you wrong and you need a sword, or someone else is coming after you and you need a shield, you have no choice.
When I end up in those situations, the two most important things I look for in an attorney is their deep knowledge of the law and an ability to understand the economics of the case. Richard does both of these better than any other attorney I have worked with.
In one case he handled for me his deep knowledge of the law allowed us to obtain critical damning evidence and present it to the judge while keeping it from the person who filed a frivolous claim against me. This tactic allowed us to win the case before we walked into the courtroom.
Most legal affairs boil down to money, and Richard understands clearly how the legal costs fit into the overall financial equation. In another case he handled for me he recommended a strategy that resulted in smaller fees for his firm, but was appropriate for the issue, and we won.
The last thing you want is to win the dispute, but spend so much in legal fees to win that you end up losing. Several lawyers with whom I have worked take this approach and do everything to maximize their billings. Richard doesn't do that - you can trust him to set the right legal and economic strategy for the issue and execute accordingly.
I hope that you never have to hire an attorney, but if you do, I strongly recommend that you hire Richard. I have worked with him several times over the last 20 years and gotten great results every time.

Wow, what an honor it is to write this review. Without him knowing, I contacted several law firms who were publicly known in the area and they all failed. For example, they talked to me instead of with me. Another example is that I felt like another number in line, and as though they had more important cases than mine.
Micah J. Clatterbaugh has been my go to ever since. I have had three instances where Micah assisted me. Each of those three cases, he allowed me to be the driver and respected my thoughts about the case. On one of the cases, we worked on it for over a year and we gathered all of the information needed. When it was time to sign the form, I decided to back out and I never felt like he pressured me to reconsider. On my second case, we spent at least 6 months working on it and when we were coming to the end of it, we both realized that addressing the issue in court was not in either of our interest anymore. On the third case, we spent just a few hours on and he said, "we don't have to meet up, just talk with me on the phone about it." He soon called my alleged person and followed up with an email; my alleged person fixed the issue on the spot.
Having Micah as a resource gives me the strength and confidence to be a healthy human being. Knowing I have someone who knows the law, talks with me and not at me, is professional, friendly, is not a yes man but rather someone who will challenge you to dig deeper, is certainly someone that I would want to promote.

Attorney Martin Putnam is your man if you get taken by a Used Car Salesman as I was. Mr. Putnam spoke to me in person over the phone, listened well to my situation, and asked some questions. After the Saleman refused to refund my money and take back a defective car which he misrepresented and, among other illegal things, posed safety hazzards (driver's door locks driver inside which prior attempts to fix were unsuccessful the Salesman admitted after I took the car and was locked in several times in a 3 days), Mr. Putnam made one phone call to the Car Lemon Salesman and got the issue settled instantaneously. I got my full refund and they took back their Lemon Car. My problem was resolved instantly because of Mr. Putnam's knowledge of the law and manner in dealing with law breakers who try to take unfair advantage of people like me. Mr. Putnam was incredibly kind and generous in his consideration of the terrible spot I was in and offered me a free consultation and one free phone call! Am I grateful!

Mr. Putnam was able to resolve our legal issue with a retailer. We have had the pleasure of having Mr. Putnam represent us as our attorney regarding a retail contract dispute involving a rather large sum of money after we signed the contract. Mr. Putnam was able to understand technical details related to our purchase and provided meaninfull and reassuring feedback in a calm professional manner.Throughout the time we collaborated with Mr. Putnam he was available for us to speak with him numerous times via telephone calls. When he was not available for us to speak with him he promptly returned the messages we left on his aswering machine. First let me say that I am 69 years old, mostly retired business man and during my business career I had a reasonable amount of experience with attorneys. In point of fact at one time, we were involved in an anti-trust action which spread over 6 years. That was one contact with a large law firm, which did an outstanding job for us.
Mr. Flashman was referred to us by another firm. We needed an attorney to draw up referendum petitions for a citizens group which I headed up. It was essential that this be done quickly and correctly. He within a few days had the material to us. During this time he literally gave us an education on referendums, the pitfalls and possibilities to make sure we could gather the necessary signatures.
That we were successful was in no small measure due to his expertise. He along the way was able to give us counsel on environmental issues and other challenges. He has had a lot of experience with the referendum process, and it was so helpful.
At the end of this successful process, we elected to enter into negotiations and eventually reached an compromise agreement with the developer. Mr. Flashman became our attorney in drawing up the legal document for this agreement.
All along the way with was a period of about 8 months, he was on a very timely basis able to give us excellent advice.
I could not give a higher recommendation to anyone than what I offer for Mr. Flashman. On top of all of this, he fees were very reasonable, which for a citizens group always presents a problem since funds are very limited.
