I hired Eric to help fight my SSDI appeal. I had been previously approved, but benefits were termed because they claimed I was better. I had actually gotten worse and had numerous doctors notes and letters stating I was getting worse. Eric was able to prove to the judge with over 22,000 pages of documentation my health was worse. He wrote great briefs and really fought for my benefits. I won my case and I couldn’t have done it without Eric!

After waiting for over 2 years to be approved for SSDI I hired Eric Patrick and had a bench decision within months. After the SSA had made a mistake on my disability payments Mr. Patrick contacted SSA and was able to get it corrected. I have worked on multiple projects with Nina related mostly to corporate contracts and contract renewals. Prior to my being able to retire, I was "let go" from my position. As a professor, I had never received a bad review in my seventeen years of employment, and my students were very positive about my teaching. I had published books, represented my institution here and abroad and organized major colloquiums. My identity was wrapped up in being a professor, so I was at a complete loss about what to do when I lost my job. I will always be grateful for the help and understanding I received from William Corman. When he entered the picture, his sterling reputation was recognized by my former employers. His efforts on my behalf were taken very seriously. Any attempt I would have made regarding a settlement would have been dismissed. I ended up with a sum of money that would see me through a couple of years if I needed it. Time to pause and reflect on the future without the stress of financial hardship was essential -- required in order to think clearly and logically about how to go forward instead of falling into a lengthy depression. I thank William Corman for his help in making it possible to find my way to work that I enjoy. I am paid considerably more than a professor in my current job. I found myself in a serious employment situation, and was referred to Bill Corman by my sister who had researched local best practice attorneys for me. Bill was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and articulate about the legal aspects of my case. He is direct and honest, and clearly has a wealth of experience and expertise in labor law. He kept me informed through the process, stayed on point despite my tendency to meander off on my emotions, and was very respectful of my finances in regards to his fees. I had taken on a large company where I had worked for personal wrong-doing. I received a lot of rejections from other attorneys; however, I knew that I had a strong case, and knew I just needed to find the RIGHT attorney that saw what I saw in my case.
Then, I met Mr. Corman. He invited me into his office, and listen intently to what I had to say, asked questions, reviewed some documentation that I had. By the end of the meeting he told me that he would take on my case. He also gave me a clear and accurate assessment of how much the fees would be ( he stayed true to this to the end of the case). There were subsequent meetings after that, and he never gave up on me or the case - always keeping me apprised on the progression of my case.
To make a long story short - We won the case!!! Without Mr. Corman's dedication, and belief in me and my case - I could not have won. Thanks again, Mr Corman.

Over 2 years ago, we were looking for a knowledgeable well informed lawyer for my dad who died of elder abuse. There are 6 of us siblings in the family and due to the size of our family we were not accepted so easily with some of the lawyers. We had a lawyer previous to Felicia Curran who did nothing for over 6 months and just to tell us that he did not have enough expertise to handle our case. We searched several months until we found Felicia Curran. Our case involved a high level of expertise due to the complexity of my father health. Felicia made us feel confident that we had a strong case and truly we needed justice for our dad. It was very difficult to trust someone to understand what we went through and to be compassionate, this is not just another case but a real person was my father. Felicia gave us that trust and along with it she kept us well informed every step of the way. Any time during working hours or evening hours Felicia was responsive and always had an ear to listen or advice. I don't know where we would of done if we did not been as fortunate to find Felicia but for myself and my siblings we are ever so grateful for the relationship we have with Felicia. I know my father can rest in peace knowing that their was justice and whole lot of caring in his final chapter.

I knew right away after meeting Hannah she was the one. She is thorough and compassionate when it comes to her clients. She loves what she does and it shows. She takes time to let you know shes got your back when the chips are down. I hired Catherine Tang to respond to an action letter from the USPTO for my business. Catherine was fast, responsive and was quite fair with pricing. She’s one of the most ethical attorneys I have ever worked with. She did the work in far less time than all of the other attorneys quoted me. Others quoted weeks of research, with "a minimum of six weeks to hear anything back". Catherine responded in far less of time and I was approved in much sooner time than even the "weeks of research" it would take to just submit my response. Approximately two years ago I was rear-ended in an auto accident. I had never been in this type situation hence, inexperienced on what to do...At a family function a family member mentioned Mr. Ochoa and highly recommended him. Subsequently, I engaged Mr. Ochoa to represent me with my claim. Over a span of the past two years, Mr. Ochoa was diligent, detailed, persistent and "spot on" in bringing our case to resolution. Mr. Ochoa was always professional - he is tenured, experienced and highly skilled in this area. Mr. Ochoa requested very accurate information of me personal and financial ( I did not like this as I did not think it pertintent) yet it was important in dealing with insurance entities. Mr. Ochoa, sent letters and supporting documentation to said insurance company reflecting validity to my claim. All in all, Mr. Ochoa was successful in bringing our case to closure with an award. Without Mr. Ocha's expertise I would not have been able to settle with such an award.

I was apprehended during a public gathering, disoriented and extremely unprepared for jail, my family hired Mr. Rudolph as my attorney. Court day came, I met him for the first time. His presence was a huge relief. We had a short convo about my info and asked me what did I want? I simply told him a burger, he promised me he'd get me a burger by that night. 3 hours later, got me through the judge and got me released on my way to my burger. This may seem silly, but he is one of the few attorneys that will actually treat you like a fellow human being and not as a client or defendant.

I had a protracted 7 year long divorce which may seem impossible given the laws in California but if one party has money and decides rules are not for them you find yourself in court. If I had not found Rosanne at the beginning I would not be where I am today. At age 56 you can't just walk away with noting and say I can start over. The reason I am whole now is because she not only knows the law, she makes it her business to research new case law and as a result of her diligence it made all the difference in what the court awarded to me. Her briefs are so well written many judges used her text in there judgements. I was in front of 4 different judges on my journey. I couldn't have done it without her. The first thing she did was try to settle out of court and ironically if my ex had accepted the offer which based on what California law said I was entitled to nothing more, he would have saved hundreds of thousand of dollars. She makes every effort to keep you out of the courts but if you find yourself in my position she is the one you would want representing and advising you.

I wanted a lawyer who listened, counseled in a way that I understood (this being my first time dealing with a legal representative), and was a fair and honest advocate for my legal needs, and I found that in Rosanne. Deborah Dubroff guided me through a very long, contentious divorce that involved all kinds of non standard stuff (QDROs, out of state moves, spousal support, even a contempt hearing). When I met her, I was immediately struck by her candor, razor-sharp wit, and her obvious generosity of spirit. What I mean by the last is that she took lots of time with me during our initial meeting and really listened to me. She made me feel like everything would be ok, and it was. I won the entire case, including a very large settlement. She strikes me as extremely honest. She always charged me very fairly. To sum up, I think that Deborah is sort of the antithesis of the lawyer stereotype. She really cares about her clients and their outcomes. She doesn't overcharge. I've gotten myself into some situations. This year my dad died and my grandma entered a hospice facility. You name it and I've gotten into it. Well let me tell you. There isn't a better criminal attorney in Alameda County to do what needs to be done when the wheels come off in life. Phil Vaughns has stood tall on my behalf when most bay area attorneys would have been more interested in collecting a check. By his reputation, his intergrity, his knowledge Phil has truly helped me.
In case you didn't know James Phillip Vaughns was a Deputy District Attorney for Alameda County before becoming an AUSA(Assistant United States Attorney). If you were a secret service agent or an FBI agent who positively wanted to send someone to prison for a very long time and you were in the bay area, I suspect you worked with Phil to dot your I's and cross your T's.
I can tell you this. I have never regretted a dime I've paid Phil. I was never ever disappointed in the resolution of any matter Phil addressed on my behalf.

I’ve been involved with the family law court system for 4 years now. I’ve learned quite a bit. I’ve self-represented myself, and had other attorneys. I can’t recommend Alexandra enough.
I had a last minute emergency order handled by Alexandra. She was professional, timely, and communicated very well. If she wasn’t so responsive I wouldn’t have had my case seen in time.
Unfortunately family law can be ugly, and Alexandra handled my case in a manner that calmed me, and she communicated my options with clarity. She treated the other party with respect. My child is doing well with the split, and gets to see both parents.
Alexandra is realistic and doesn’t give unrealistic expectations. She also is a lawyer that you can trust and doesn’t use short sighted tactics such as making up issues with the other party. I highly advise getting a lawyer that is truthful and knows the system in the county that your case resides in. This is very important. I was naive and originally expected the court and mediators to be professional and fair. For the majority of my family law experience this was not the case. Some judges and mediators are fair yet many are biased without cause. Since parents will always be the parents to the child, it is very important to get a lawyer that doesn’t see only the short term and throw mud at the other party.
As long as the system has problems, you really need a good attorney.

Alexandra was an amazing resource for me during a very challenging time. She was of course knowledgeable and professional, but she was also sensitive and caring which just made everything easier. I was always provided with sound and detailed instructions regarding my next steps, so I knew what to expect coming up. When when my wife and I first came across Jake we were jaded from bad experiences with previous attorneys who truly could have cared less about prioritizing our interests. What Jake did upon the first conversation was put our minds at ease by letting us know the options rather then pressuring us to make an inappropriate decision (simply to get us out the door). Most of all, EVERYTIME we had a question, concern, or issue, Jake was never further than a phone/email/text away from getting back to us, sometimes it took a few hours but we was ALWAYS got a sufficient and timely response. When we had our hearing with the trustee it went surprisingly smooth because Jake had prepped our paperwork and situation in such that our position was crystal clear to the trustee.
Bankruptsy is a really tough experience on a family. My wife and I would recommend to anyone needing these services to find an attorney that can keep the situation and details concise so that everyone understands at all moments what is going on. We can not express how helpful Jake was in informing throughout the process, enabling us to, quite frankly, keep it all together.
