No words to explain how good Tom is he is very professional and educated. Tom Kurta is an amazing lawyer, he is smart and efficient. He was easy to talk to not like other lawyers that I have dealt with in the past, that were always 'too busy or too good' to return my phone calls. He was down to earth and easy and pleasant to talk to and so was his entire staff. Kurta Law guided me step by step through my bankruptcy case. Peggy made the process of drawing up our trust and wills as smooth as I could have imagined it. She was very informatibve, and she used email and dropbox to share files, which made document review very efficient. Jay walked my husband and I through the process of creating a Living Trust, Healthcare Directive, and Pour-Over Will, patiently answering our questions and making things easy to understand. I have nothing but positive things to say. Usually in life we hope to never find ourselves in a situation where we need a lawyer, however I could not be more grateful I found Tierney Law Group. Kent was very knowledgable about what needed to be done regarding my case and situation. He was always very truthful and didn't sugar coat things, which was refreshing. If something was not the most beneficial for me, he told me so, rather than just proceeding along, charging me the whole way! Since my case has been done, I've contacted him with a couple of questions, and he always gets back to me, and has been really helpful. He's very trustworthy and I would have no problems using him again for anything if necessary. This is how professional attorneys are supposed to be, and he's great!

I found Mr. Tierney using Yelp. His reviews were excellent. He wrote a contract for my wife and I on a construction project. We have also used Mr. Tierney for several cases related to rental properties (evictions). He was very reasonable with his fees and extremely knowledgable. I don't write many reviews but I felt obligated to leave a review on Avvo because of their rating system. We investigated Mr. Tierney and were comfortable using him, we found him to be honest and extemely helpful. Don't rely on one site's rating system without investigating any attorney your going to use completely

Working with Brian was a breeze. He is very responsive and you communicate with him directly which was a huge bonus. He helped me with my estate planning and living trust. I found him through my employer’s legal plan (Met Life) and he was outstanding and very thorough. He was also very clear and precise about my financial responsibility for his services not covered by my legal plan. I didn’t realize that along with estate planning you would also do a power of attorney and advanced health care directive, which I’ve been planning to do for the longest time but haven’t gotten around to it. Now that this process is complete (which was a total of about 3-4 weeks turnaround time- super fast!), I feel at peace knowing that my family will be taken care of and that my wishes are clearly outlined in these documents. Cynthia came into my case after 5 years of dealing with an extremely litigious ex. I had been to court many times and it all seemed to be a "band-aid" until the next time he filed. My ex is a bully and a narcissist. Cynthia handled him in 5 minutes. She shut him down and stood up to the bully. That first time she was with me in court I knew I finally had the help I needed. In March of 2014, I contacted the Law offices of Steven Jacobs with some questions regarding an issue I was having with the Bay area toll authority and the registration on my car. I was in over my head with fees and it seemed like bankruptcy was the only option. Austin was assigned to my case and he went above and beyond with the research before I even retained him as my lawyer. The gist, I needed to know whether or not filing for bankruptcy would help my situation, and release the hold on my registration. He researched for a week and gave me 2 options. I felt absolutely no pressure, and I never felt like he was trying to get one over on me. In May 2014, I decided to file, and up until his departure, he kept me updated. He constantly kept in contact to ensure that I was understanding the entire process and he made sure that I was comfortable with all decisions including, my trustee payments. He even got my payment date changed for me! He and his staff did all of the work, while I only provided the information he requested. I always felt that he had my best interest at heart, and I never felt like this was just another case to him. He took on my case, not knowing what kind of work in entailed, and I know that my case was a very unusual case. He would take the time, outside of business hours even, to call and make sure that I understood what was happening and was comfortable with the next step. I highly recommend John Park Law firm. My wife passed away from a rare cancer attributed to the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in NYC. At the time of her passing we lived in California. Even though I now live in New York, any settlement from the 9/11 Victims Fund had to be distributed through an estate set up in California. I hired DanaLaw for my mother's green card application. There were documentation problems because the names on multiple documents like Birth, School Leaving cert didn't match and there was no marriage cert. Dana provided the strategy and the baseline text for the extra affidavits that were required to avoid rejection and RFE.
The green card was approved in a few weeks when the expected time is 13 months!
The only negative is that their form upload software is buggy and caused some churn.

I found him through my employer’s legal plan (Met Life) and he was outstanding and very thorough.
