Ben is an extremely proficient lawyer. He gives clear answers and doesn't blow hot air like most lawyers that are willing to work with cannabis clients. He represents multiple businesses for us and does a great job. I don't enjoy needing a lawyer, but I certainly enjoy working with Ben. I went to Justin Baxter of Baxter and Baxter after an internet search, for help with problem with a debt collector. He treated me with respect and was very knowledgeable. He made sure that i knew my rights, responsibilities, how the case would be handled, possible outcomes, and possible risks.
Although I hope to never be in need of his services again, If the need arose, I would contact him and his firm without hesitation. I would definitely reccomend him to anyone in need of help with a debt collector.

I went to a big party about a 12 months ago, and let's just say that I ended up in a bit of legal trouble on my drive home. I contacted Adam at the suggestion of a friend who used him before in a criminal case.
Adam met with me right away and gave me the rundown of all of my options. He was way organized, he even gave me a bunch of stuff to take home with me and read to help understand the law process a bit better. I had a total of 2 court appearances with him, and each time he was early, prepared, and at ease. I was so nervous coming going to court since I had never been before, but felt much better once he took control. I barely had to do anything.
When all was said and done, things played out exactly like Adam said they would. I can't say the process was fun, because it was not, but having Adam as my lawyer made things 1000x easier. I would definitely recommend him if you end up talking to a police officer after a bit touch (ahem) too much to drink.

After being badly burned by another lawyer, I came to Adam and Jill hurt and angry. They were quick to respond and were amazing at trying to fix what the other lawyer had screwed up for me. Unfortunately I found them a little too late and am stuck with a lot things in my divorce that should have been avoided with a trustworthy lawyer. I loved working with them. They were generous and kind and I feel almost that their amount of careful respect for me and my bad situation has made up for a lot of the upset I experienced with my previous one. There ARE great lawyers out there and these are two of them.

When my boyfriend and I were being sued by his mother for third party visitation, we were scared and confused about our rights as parents. Adam Brittle brought to our attention our constitutional rights along with the laws. He guided us every step of the way. Affordable, trustworthy and smart. He not only guided us through the whole court procedures and what needed to be expected, but also took the edge off of alot of worry. Diane has never rushed me or treated me like a number or a dollar figure. She always takes her time to listen to what I have to say, how I feel, then easily helps me with paper work or issues I may have. Dianne has been very helpful in contacting people on my behalf and in getting results I need to process my immigration paper work. She is a joy to work with and is personable. She also called me up to see how I have been and if I heard anything from immigration. Diane has never worried about payment for her services or overcharged me for services rendered. She cares more about helping people then fattening her wallet. This is the first attorney that came at me with a "we can win this case" attitude. Very knowledgeable and positive. Always stayed in contact with me, and kept me up to date with any and all changes with the case. Once we went to trial, presented an awesome case and had the jury deliberate for only 20 minutes and come back with a 12-0 not guilty verdict. And just for the record, there was a video of this alleged crime, and his case presentation was so tight, I was still found not guilty.

I rather stupidly tried to represent myself in my divorce, and I seriously jacked it up. As if by divine intervention, my disastrously one-sided divorce judgment was delayed by a freak snow storm, and I hired Billy's firm to intercede on my behalf at the last possible moment. Mr. Burgess and his team provided exceptional service and, frankly, unexpected positive results in a Federal Whistleblower Retaliation case just over a year ago. Due to Mr. Burgess, determination, knowledge, and artful management of the hearings, we prevailed. In addition, Mr. Burgess negotiated an acceptable settlement to a separate Discrimination complaint (EEOC) brought against the same Federal agency. These cases are complex and quite difficult with the purse and legal infrastructure of the Federal Government stacked up against plaintiffs with limited resources. Mr. Burgess took the Federal government to task twice, on my behalf, and prevailed both times. Mr. Burgess passion was evident throughout the process. Mr. Burgess' remarkable oratory skill was on full display during extemporaneous closing remarks where he pulled together two days' of witness testimony and key points from hundreds of pages of evidence to close the door on the Federal attorneys' arguments. When Mr. Burgess finished, the opposing team looked resigned and simply shook their heads. I recommend Mr. Burgess to anyone who needs representation in his areas of expertise. I will certainly seek his counsel again if I am ever in need of legal representation.

Jeremy comes highly recommended. I researched multiple attorneys in Clark county and decided on Elizabeth Christy Law Firm because of the great reviews, and I'm glad I did. Jeremy was very quick, thorough, supportive, knowledgeable and responsive during this whole process. Leora assisted us to defend our company and manager in a lawsuit filed by a very aggressive plaintiff’s lawyer. Leora has helped our company on a number of legal issues, but what sicks out in particular is her incredile knowledge of the Portland Sick Time Ordinance. The mandatory sick time laws are complex, but not for Leora. She also not only knows the law, she actually advocates for employes at the City....and she's made real positive changes for employers. How cool is that? It's great to have a lawyer that not only knows the law better than anyone else, but takes her own time to make it better.
Leora is also an attorney who can see the forest. When you ask her questions, she takes into account not jus the law but also the business side and the psychology of working with people. For example, I asked her for a policy that said employees could not have piercings larger than 2 mm or any facial piercings. Rather than just sending me the policy and letting me later realize it was a terrible idea in application, she asked me what I was ultimately trying to solve, gave me clear scenarios for why I wouldn't want the policy exactly as I had suggested (hello, ruler to employee's face to measure piercings!) and then sent me a policy that really works.

My son filed a habeas & Tara has fought for him through all of it. With the exception of 2 charges brought against the Department of Corrections there in Oregon my son won with Tara's help! Tara Herivel worked on our custody case representing my wife and our family against my wife's ex in a dispute over parenting time for our child.
There is so much to say about Tara - and all of it good. Tara has worked this case with our family for over two years. Aside from our own immediate family, nobody has stood with and defended us like Tara has.
Our custody case was very contentious, and it was often not without drama and craziness. But Tara was able to get us past all of that to really always be one or two steps ahead of the game.
Tara was more than our courtroom attorney. Tara guided us in every aspect of a custody dispute, inside the court and out. If ever there was a question as to how we should handle a situation, Tara was only a phone call away.
But in the court, Tara knew her craft, and was just wonderful at bringing out the truth. Being represented by Tara, we never felt for a moment that we were “taking our chances” with a judge’s decision. Tara was everything we could’ve hoped for in a lawyer.
I could praise Tara’s work for us all day, but this review is also to feature was services specifically were provided.
Tara was able to modify our custody agreement after showing to the court that the other party had very low capacity for effective parenting.
She was able to arrange supervised visitation (from previous unsupervised visitation) between other party and our child.
When other party was unable to comply with the court’s order Tara was able to show the courts that complete suspension of visitation was warranted.
Tara fulfilled every role in this case. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it’s been having her as our attorney.
