Jeanne has been our attorney for the last 10+ years. She helped us receive compensation when our 3 yr. son was attacked by a dog, leaving his lip almost ripped off. I don't even know where to begin. I was injured 33000+ ft in the air during a flight. I did not know what to do first after dealing with doctors, surgeons, and nurses while trying to heal. I called a large legal firm that advertises in North Carolina to see if they could help me. After being grilled like I was the problem, my sister-in-law who lives in Memphis, researched attorneys in my area and gave me a choice of 2. Well I called James Crouse and the first thing he told me was that he would help me put a letter together for the airline and he would do it for free. Then he said "you don't have to go with me as your lawyer, but you will need a good lawyer in order to handle the big airline." I felt so taken care of and he was very honest about everything from the start. He worked on my case for over 4 years. He prepared my husband and I for everything that could happen.
Jim came to our house when I could not walk and he continued to come to the house when I was healing. I could ask him any question and get an answer even if it was one that was not in my favor. I never want to have to go through something like this again, but if I have to, I will call Jim as soon as possible. Even opposing counsel liked him and that makes a huge difference in the outcome of a case.
Just FYI...... he has entertaining stories about his life that go on for days! He kept me on my toes. Thank you Attorney Crouse!

I contacted Jim Crouse after my husband was killed in a small plane crash while learning to fly. If tthe accident were due to equipment malfunction, I wanted to keep it from happening again. Jim relentlessly investigated all angles and exhausted all resources while remaining kind and sensitive to my concerns and desires. While we weren't able to determine a cause, Jim obtained a satisfactory settlement with one of the flight instructor's insurers and I am confident our best effort was made. I had the opportunity of working with Mr. Crause regarding a FAA infraction. The case was complex and required many hours of research and fact finding. Many times I had thought that we had came to a dead end road. These roadblocks had given me the feeling of wanting to give up. Somehow, Mr Crause was able to put it in four wheel drive and go through these road blocks. His knowledge and ability to keep me focused was something I never expected out of a lawyer. He was also able to relay a peace of mind in an otherwise troubling situation for me.
Being such a complex case, I was worried about the ability to pay for the services. Mr. Crause was able to consolidate and multi task using every available minute in each hour. These tactics reduced the bill beyond my expectations.
We have finished work on my case but still stay in touch over the months. This is just another reason why I am writing this review and recommend him to everyone I talk to in the aviation community.

Mariana has represented me for almost a decade starting with my separation in 2013. Unfortunately, I’ve needed her assistance navigating a difficult physical and legal joint custody of 4 children ever since. We’ve been through 2 parental coordinators (do not recommend), mediation, custody modifications and addendums, depositions of my ex and his multiple live in girlfriends (my personal favorite strategy), police and CPS involvement and attempted restraining orders. Much more but after awhile it’s just embarrassing.
Mariana has a good memory for my case which is super thick at this point. She once read 8 years of our family wizard emails before a deposition. Mariana has a good working relationship with her industry colleagues (when my ex hires and fires new attorneys Mariana gets them up to speed). Mariana is logical and non reactive. She thinks in terms of moves and counter moves.
If you are looking for revenge and want a man hating bulldog that will bury your opposition in motions and BS I would keep looking. Marina isn’t going to be your big sister, BFF or your therapist and charge you for it. If you want a thoughtful, smart, and responsive attorney that will represent your interests she’s a good person to have in your corner.

There is not enough room on this review to point out all the ways Mariana Godwin exceeded my expectations!
I am the father of a 6 year old girl, whose mother decided to cut me out of her life. For months, she did not allow me to have any communication, or visits with my daughter.
Mariana proceeded through the custody process extremely efficiently. All the email, calls, and discussions were extremely productive and led to a very strong case in court. Mariana is caring, extremely responsive (a rare trait in attorneys, i find), smart, well connected, and delivers results. More importantly, she is also very good at setting realistic expectations and wading through her client's emotions to tease out the facts and usable information. She prepared me well for my court date, always explained each step of the process very clearly, and made sure I was aware of all possible outcomes at all times (which greatly reduces surprises in an already emotionally difficult time).
In a scary and emotional time for me, Mariana provided guidance and results at lighting speed. The court awarded me more than I had hoped for, and I could not be any happier.
Some people are just excellent at their jobs-Mariana is one of them. You cannot go wrong with hiring her as to represent you in your family matter. It literally changed my life, and my daughter's.

Ms. Brumback was the lead attorney on a team that defended a large national Architectural firm in a complicated claim brought by a very aggressive health care institution's legal team.

I returned a product to a store owner and he claimed he would issue me a credit on my credit card once his credit card machine was working again. He never did after multiple phone calls and then sent me a bad check. Melissa wrote him a letter to "put the fear of God (or fear of lawyers, perhaps)" into him, which seemed to work, since he finally sent me a check for my refund that cleared.

Ms. Brumbach represented my firm on two separate occasions. The first as a member of a legal team who defended us against a former client. Rather than meet to discuss the concerns in person, this client was persuaded by an aggressive law firm to resolve the matter through the courts. Their incentive being the expectation of a large insurance settlement from a policy we carried at the time.
The second was as our attorney in a suit to collect fees from a client who withheld final payment for work we performed. Rather than meet to discuss, this client ceased communication.
In both instances she became familiar with the facts very quickly and developed a well conceived plan for both our defense and the merits of our claim.
We would not hesitate to engage her if the need arose once again.

Let's face it, finding a lawyer for any reason can be very stressful. I'm here to say, Mary and her team exceeded my expectations of a law firm. Mary was very direct and clear about her recommendations, but was also willing to do whatever I asked during a very complicated custody, equitable distribution and divorce process. She was supportive and has a great sense of humor. She has good relationships with her legal counterparts, which ultimately makes the most difference in and out of court. Wendy was also very responsive and helpful. Since this was a complex case, there were some things that did not turn out as expected, but Mary and Wendy were always upfront with me and walked through what the next steps would be. The only feedback for improvement would be occasionally administrative things were a little disorganized (for instance forgetting to correct errors in paperwork, disposing of the wrong document, having to do some things while I waited rather than having it ready), but there was nothing that impacted the case negatively. Overall, they took care of whatever needed to happen and made sure my best interests were covered.

I meet miss Allison in 2016 when my last attorney refused me to go to a hearing for my husband he was under supervision by Ice and it was a critical problem because I have three children and I don’t drive and this is when my uncle referred me to miss Allison firm and she helped my husband with stay of removal and he got his work permit and Driver’s License and then she filed I-30 and than DACA for my daughter and then she and Scott from her firm also worked for getting my cancellation of 10 years granted from the court they helped us with any questions and would always reply the same day I would always call her when I had a lot of stress with my immigration status and she explained everything so nicely and made me feel very relaxed I would recommend everyone who is looking for a nice attorney should hired her with lots of trust because she would not treat you like a client but always like a family member

I've had to good fortune to know Parker since she was recommended to me during my divorce some 20 years ago. Through the years, we've stayed in touch, and I have recommended her to numerous friends in need of help with divorce or adoption. Hands down, Parker is one of the best family practice attorneys in the region. As impressive as her command of the legal ins and outs of divorce, what I found - and still find - most impressive is her command of how to manage the emotional aspects of divorce (especially when children are involved as was the case with my case) with the negotiation strategies that's needed. Parker's advice was spot on about when, what and how I should advocate for myself, and her focus on the long term picture helped me navigate the short-term emotional mess when a marriage dissolves. When I felt indignant or angry over a counter-offer about some minor debt my "future former" and I shared, Parker wisely counseled, "Roger, in the long run this is pocket change. It's not worth the fight because there are more important issues for us to take a stand on."
And she was right. Years later that advice to focus on what's really important in the long-run (that helped design a fair separation agreement that didn't engender long-term resentment) helped us work through a particularly thorny financial issue. And Parker was there right by my side again offering just the right guidance to help me come out of that negotiation (we were able to avoid court, thankfully) in a = good place. Moreover, Parker went out of her way to help keep my legal costs to a minimum.
Parker's a great attorney, a great individual and I'm proud to say a great friend. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I give Aaron Hemmings an A+++. I am from Maryland and my daughter was a passenger in an automobile traveling on I-95 coming home from Myrtle Beach where she was involved in a multiple auto collision. She was hurt but recovered after a year. I attempted to deal with the insurance casualty adjuster who made an offer that was insulting. I did my research and found the law firm of Hemmings and Stevens. Aaron took over and negotiated an offer that was nearly double the original offer. He did not stop there. He went after the trauma hospital where my daughter was taken and CIGNA Health Insurance Company to reduce their fees. Mr Hemmings is a fabulous lawyer, straight forward, honest, confident, and works with a great sense of timeliness. He is an excellent communicator too.
