I love how you get an Attorney to cover your case who has knowledge of your situation. Some things they may not know, however, they seek out all they can to assist their clients. I’ve appreciated the fact that they talk to, and help each other in all cases. I appreciate them seeking out Mental Illness knowledge in both criminal and traffic cases. They will listen and really try to help!!! The Commonwealth has rules of their own; yet Christina, her husband Daeman, and team of lawyers really hit hard!!! I was driving from DC to Florida and was pulled over in Greensville County Virginia. I received a reckless driving ticket 85/70 and was surprised to found out it was misdemeanor in VA being from FL. I did research on lawyers and Christina Pendleton & Associates was by far the best choice. The law firm offered a very reasonable and fair fee for their services with the speed being under 89 mph. Her law firm was in constant contact with me either by phone or email. They always responded to my emails in the same day which I was very pleased about. My reckless driving 85/70 was reduced to a infraction for defective equipment with a fine and no points. I highly recommend Pendleton & Associates if you are from out of town and need a lawyer to represent you.

I had a traffic case that would be settled in a straightforward manner in other states. In Virginia, this meant having to go to court and litigating. As an out-of-state defendant with my own life to worry about, David managed the case with an appropriate level of concern. He wasn't alarmist like some of the other attorney's I interviewed, but helped give a realistic picture about what a plea-bargain normally requires. He wasn't trying to make the case easy for him through my heavy-lifting, it seemed.
He was knowledgeable about how cases normally went and communicated briefly but effectively:
* what I had to do to meet my goals
* the type of information that he wanted from me
* the current status of the court case.
Additionally, I wanted to seek a continuance in order to complete community service hours. David secured the continuance in a timely manner and let me know when my case was continued once more, presumably at the prosecutor's request. I really appreciated that David was quick and to the point in getting what I wanted out of the case, without requiring a lot of heavy lifting from me.

When the day in court finally arrived, Bob Battle negotiated with the prosecutor and arresting officer.
He was able to have my DWI charge reduced to Reckless Driving.
I can’t tell you how much that helped me in my personal life and my career. I’m very thankful I was referred to Bob Battle. I could have picked several cheaper lawyers but, I don’t think they would have fought for me like Bob Battle.

I hired Mr. Battle for a DUI case. New to Virginia I was unfamiliar with laws and processes. Mr. Battle met with me, reviewed my case and outlined the law and my rights in terms that I could understand. He was always available, via email, text or phone. Based on the law I should have received some sort of jail time, however due to Mr. Battle’s experience, I did not receive any jail time and my blood alcohol level was thrown out of court. Could not have asked for a better outcome.

Mr. McGrath was patient and detailed in explaining what the charge was. He advised me on what to do to mitigate the seriousness of the case before the court date. I did not have to speak in court because Mr. McGrath handled that brilliantly. The judge reduced the charge from reckless driving, a class one misdemeanor to improper driving a traffic infraction which is not a criminal offense.

My friend and I were recently in a car wreck wherein my handicapped equipped van was destroyed, my wheelchair was crushed and glass was strewed everywhere. My partner and I have been in a committed Gay relationship for over 39 years. We were actively involved in the LGBTQ Rights movement while living in Miami Florida. Ms. Upton was so awesome I was sick and went to the hospital so I missed my Henrico court date. My #1 LAWYER reach out to me to let me know I had a warrant out for my arrest. I am fortunate to work with Ms. Minear regarding a confusion in my J1 waiver application. My J1 waiver application was a bit complicated. The employer's attorney made it more complicated and that forced me to consult other attorney's including Ms. Minear. Every other attorney gave me the answer but they couldn't provide any reference for the answer. Ms. Minear is the only one provided me the exact reference and that made the application easy. She didn't charge me any fee even after repeatedly asking her. She answered all email in time and guided me through the situation. I am feeling bad as i couldn’t pay her and decided to write this review. This is my first online review about anything. She is one of the best personality and immigration attorney i ever worked with. I Strongly believe world must know about personality like her and should feel the difference.

Marc Anderson is the cosummate professional. I hired Marc to assist my son with a reckless driving citation. Marc walked and talked us through the entire process of making a good defense, including obtaining driver records, provided links to defensive driving course, recommended voluntary community service, etc. He also explained to my son how the judge was likely to consider each piece of "evidence" and thus why it was important to do what he was recommending and in a timely manner . He was also available at any time though out the process for follow up questions and advise. Most important, we followed his advice and got the citation reduced to Defective Equipment, a non-moving violation. A great personable guy to have in your corner. Shannon is handling my current divorce. Very patient and understanding, yet gives it to you straight and truthful. Very fair in regards to cost. Has charged 1/3 of my wife's attorney yet has filled me in more and made sure I understand what she is doing for me in trying to move forward. I hired Ms. Otto to assist me with my divorce in 2012. She was very easy to work with and did a great job in dealing with my ex husbands attorney. We were able to come to an amicable separation agreement in a very reasonable amount of time which was important to me so that things didn’t get dragged out. I also hired her and her partner Mr. Locke to assist me in another part of my divorce which had to do with my mothers will and again they were nothing but professional and swift in getting that situation wrapped up. I retained Ms. Shannon Otto and she helped me to file a couple of show cause motions for contempt of court, she also helped me to increase my visitation time, and to update our child support schedule.
