Laura was one of my attorneys in my Divorce Case, Her knowledge, practicality, and logic used during the procedure was amazing. during a divorce case things can get very emotional. Especially if there are children involved. Because of that, I feel like most people even despite their best efforts let emotions control the decisions or actions during the case. Laura along with my other attorneys were able to keep me on track, keep me grounded in my thought process and I truly feel like she was fighting for what I wanted and what was important for me and my child as well. I met Ryan in early 2009 after he was recommended to me by two colleagues to help settle a contract issue. After speaking to him for only a few minutes it was clear that a he had a good handle of my situation and I retained him shortly thereafter. Nathan was beyond proficient throughout the entire DUI process. He was readily available when i had questions or concerns, he kept me up to date with reminders and letters, and he worked with me on payments. Other than the inconvenience of having to drive to IL for few court dates it was a pretty stress free process. Hopefully I never have to use him again but if I ever need representation, I will absolutely go back to Nathan.

Dennis did a great job in getting my patent off the ground and fully approved. He knew absolutely nothing about my product when we started, but it didn't take him long to have a complete understanding and to be able to prepare my case for the examiners. I'm not funded like the Boeings and Monsantos of the world, and it was quite unusual to find that Dennis caters so well to small businesses.
Knowing what I do now, I think it is remarkable that I was able to go through the entire patent process so affordably. If I went to the large firms, hourly rates just would not have been feasible. Not only does Dennis offer a flat rate fee structure, he even offers no-cost sessions occasionally for clients so you can bounce ideas off him. I plan to take advantage of this service soon.
While I'm sure he can handle big firms quite well, my review has to do with how he handled my case. Just couldn't be happier.

Dan's law firm helped me with an embarrassing charge for which the prosecuting attorney wanted ten years in prison and at least ten more years of registration, a felony B. At the initial consultation Dan very professionally and courteously outlined a plan how to defend the case. He and his partner Joe Flees fought a long fight to bring it down to an amended charge of a felony D (E on current statutes) with no registration and I got probation.

I recently had a need for legal representation in the City of St. Louis. Upon searching for an attorney, I remembered the sharp, well-spoken neighbor John Meehan's profession was an attorney at Meehan Law just west of Lafayette Square. John was by far the most impressive lawyer that has represented me. His friendly (yet professional demeanor), quick thinking skills, and legal relationships in the city of St. Louis provided me the representation I needed to address my legal situation in a timely fashion. John was super helpful in the following ways:
1. John's response time to my initial call was less than an hour. John and the Meehan Law Firm pride themselves on responding to clients in need in a timely, professional manner.
2. John is well a well-respected attorney in the justice system and is able to resolve legal issues using his advanced, specialized legal knowledge that both defense and prosecution stakeholders must respect and acknowledge. John was very helpful in addressing my legal issue by simply speaking directly to the city using diplomatic discussion and legal knowledge.
3. The most common phrase I heard from John during the process of addressing my legal situation is, "I just want to help people." and he really means it. No one ever thinks they will be in this situation of needing a lawyer because your son was selling drugs. Carter was not the original lawyer my son hired. That lawyer was dishonest and we felt like we were sinking in quicksand. We didn't know who we could trust or where to turn. Our son was in one of the county jails when he heard about Carter from another inmate. She made no promises but gave us confidence that she was on our side and explained every step of the way. For the first time in months we felt like we weren't sinking in that quicksand. We weren't asking for miracles but a fair defense for our son. Six years after my home was built I hired a outdoor sprinkler company to install there system. One week latter I discovered that a finished section of my basement was flooded.
I met with the insurance company that covered this company and showed them the damage. At that time the insurance company inspector told me that the damage was not there fault. He said that the company that built my home was at fault.
By now I had a local plumber dig up the area that the system connected to my water source found the leak and had the pictures to prove that the system was not properly installed and was leaking into my foundation wall causing the flooding.
I hired Ken Heinz. After a series of phone calls and letters Ken got the insurance company to pay for the entire cost of redoing my basement...new carpet, drywall, wood trim and paint.

My company was involved in a contract dispute. A vendor was attempting to collect for a service that was sold based on false performance claims. Being a more experienced attorney, Josh was able to capitalize on a number of technical errors by the opposing counsel. One such error the counselor made was with respect to introducing a witness, effectively resulting in his dismissal. He also identified--and subsequently had thrown out by the judge--provisions in the contract which proved unenforceable in Missouri, effectively eroding their case and resulting in the case's dismissal.
