Cremeans was my son's lawyer. She did not help my son not one bit. He was only 19 at the time of her representation and she was one of the worst lawyers I have ever seen do a very poor job in a trial. She didn't object to any of the things that she was suppose to, and she didn't question so-called witnesses the correct way to show that they were on the stand not telling the truth. To be honest I would have believed she made a deal with the DA to throw my son's case. I don't believe the other reviews are true at all. Cremeans got my son LIFE in prison at the age of 19 because she didn't fight for him! He was charged with no harm robberies.

I’m assuming all the good reviews are from years ago— which tracks because as of 2020s Marc’s skills are little to desire. He’s rude, arrogant and worse incompetent. Please look at his reviews across the internet not just AVVO.

I already had a horrible situation but to be faced with no good representation was even worse. Marc Geller threw in the towel and gave up for me. when I asked him to try he refused. I fired him and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. it just goes to show it doesn't matter how many years you have been working in a profession experience doesn't equal knowledge.

I have hired Marc for 3 seperate cases, each with exceptional results considering my lengthy criminal record.
The first case was Assault on a Police Officer. After being offered 10 plus years, i was a bit nervous. I consulted Marc and he told me he would do what he can. I ended up pleading guilty of Resisting Arrest and was given probation and community service.
About a year later, i was charged with Felon in possesion of a fire-arm. Possesion of Heroin for sale. Possesion of Methamphetamine for sale. Burglary tools.
A few months later while put on bail for that case i was charged with Felon in Possession of a fire-arm. Possession of Heroin for sales. They were offering me 14 years by the time all the enhancements were tallied on. We ended up taking a deal for 1 count of Felon in possession of a fire-arm and 1 count of Possession of Heroin for sales.
He came and saw me while i was in jail to keep me in the loop. He talked with my family regularly and gave them hope. Here i sit now 1 year after sentencing, a free man and on the right path. After 6 months in jail i went to a rehab. I will be on probation for thw next 2 years which all things considered is amazing. After finishing the rehab i was in i consulted him on an Interstate Compact and the judge and DA had no qualms about it.
Anyone needing a Defense Attorney, this is the man to go to. He put his all into my cases and my family and I reaped the benefits.

I agree 110% with the other ONE-STAR review. >They will talk a good game and follow through well with responses when it involves retention; they will be available to respond to questions to get you to hire Dimitry.
They: Dimitry and his wife, Kristina, who is the “business manager.”
>>They act like they have compassion and creativity when it comes to solving divorce issues because they have gone through them themselves. But what I found is that they are close minded, jaded by their own past history and current step kid and coparent troubles, and the lack of compassion once hired shows.
>>>NOT a “free consultation” as stated on the website. Once you retain this firm, if you don’t go through with the “strategy” advised by Dimitry, they will charge you for that “free consultation”. And mind you, his rate is TOO HIGH based on the services provided. There are plenty of attorneys out there that will charge much less and provide better quality work and services.
For my case, the strategy advised was not able to be followed through with because the coparent I am going through issues with did not want to participate in it. To save money, I decided to ask my coparent directly if he would be willing to follow the strategy recommended by my lawyer, and he said no. Based on this, the consultation (no further legal services needed) should have been free, but Dimitry and his wife did not want to entertain it and did not stick to their word. They would rather have Dimitry get paid $465/hr to reach out to opposing counsel and my ex to incur costs (only to get a “no thank you” when asked to follow his strategy) - how CROOKED!!
Instead, they would rather sip bottles of Dom and buy expensive clothing then help clients and unethically make money off of our troubles.
BIG MISTAKE to go with them.
As a hard-working person who has dealt with Customer Service for over 20 years in a compassionate and genuine way, I’m appalled by this experience. Keep shopping folks - this is your family and your livelihood at stake!! Best to you!

I’m so happy we picked Dimitry as our attorney. He is incredibly knowledgeable about family law, and he is always available to answer questions and provide guidance. He is also very compassionate and understanding.
One of the things that I appreciated most about Dimitry was his customer service. He was always responsive to my emails and phone calls. He also took the time to explain everything to me in terms that I could understand, even though I don’t have any legal experience.

I've had the privilege of working with Dimitry on 2 contracts that were absolutely crucial for my business. Although Dimitry specializes in Family law, he was not only willing to help but extremely knowledgable and thorough during this process. I have used Rebecca twice on two totally different matters and she was terrific each time. The first time she represented us against a hostile renter who was threatening to sue. She listened carefully, did careful research and wrote a four page letter detailing his violations of our rental agreement that extinguished the matter. This Spring were decided to sell our home and she agreed to present us in drawing up the Purchase/Sale Agreement. Our closing is this week and she has been wonderful. Even though five years lapsed between our contacts it was as if it were yesterday. She is personable and takes a direct interest in you as her client. If I may say so, I would call her a friend. We all need a good lawyer every once in a while. Look no further if you want someone professional and dedicated to your well being.

Retained Jorgensen law to appeal my case within the 60 days allowed and my case was not only ignored but closed by social security because they never filed a appeal. The entire staff at the office gives the run around and no answers. Ask to speak to a attorney and they’ll refuse. This form is a clown show. Instead of helping they only added stress.

I hired Josh to defend me in an employment case. I already had a severance offer from the company because they knew they had screwed up and clearly retaliated against me for a discrimination complaint. He told me that I had a strong case and promised he could get me more. I told him I could not afford to pay him and he agreed to take the case on contingency. I should have seen the signs early on that he was never fully engaged in my case because he never seemed to grasp the details or the timeline. He kept asking me the same questions over and over again and would forget the answers I gave him. He assigned a junior attorney to the case right after I signed the agreement who was overwhelmed and intimidated by opposing counsel. He started my complaint with an astronomical demand that would have obviously been rejected. He spent the first few weeks doing absolutely nothing. No depositions were scheduled, no subpoenas and very little discovery. Then I started hearing that my deposition was to be scheduled before any others. When I asked why opposing counsel seemed to be in the driver's seat I was told "that's usually the way it is". So 6 months went by and no progress. I was deposed in February and the other side had still not been deposed. Finally with my constant urging, depositions of my former employer were scheduled for May. But in March, Josh started calling me and telling me that because an innocent and innocuous error was discovered on my resume (that had no relevance to my being hired or not at the time), he could not continue my case until I deposited $10,000 in his trust account. I explained to him that their depositions were key to my case and the other side was clearly grasping at straws but he kept insisting that suddenly a case that was worth millions in his initial assessment was now "not winnable" and needed to be immediately settled. Even before a single deposition had been done to establish the facts of my case, he was telling me that he needed me to start paying him or settle for very little. He left me no choice but to allow him to settle my case for nothing as I couldn't afford to give him the money he was demanding in order to do his job and depose the defendant. In the end, I had to agree to let him settle for nothing. He then failed to even protect my interests and prevent the employer from taxing my settlement check at 50% tax rate. I received my final settlement with his cut taken out of it but also he charged me for every court filing and Uber transportation charge he incurred. When I look back at it, he took the case and promised me I had a strong case to jump in and see if he could get part of a quick settlement. When it looked like he would be spending more time that he bargained for actually defending and deposing, he backed away, put a financial gun to my head and did what was best for him ultimately, not what was best for me. He is in it for himself. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone and wish I had gone to a large reputable firm instead. Hind sight is 20/20 but I wrote this review to prevent someone else from making the same mistake of hiring Josh Gruenberg...

Josh knows how to bring it home and win the case. Mr. Gruenberg listened to my concerns about the actions of my former employer and asks the right questions during a deposition to figure out the truth. Josh Gruenberg is the only lawyer in San Diego you should contact for employment and labor law.

She’s only out for the money.
Comes across nice in the beginning but things change fast!
She refuses to try and settle with the only party. She only wants to go to trial where she will take all your money!
After draining me of every dime I had I found a VERY COMPETENT helpful attorney who helped me and my x settle out of court.
Then after we sold our home and I went to pick up the check Andre refused to sign off claiming I owed her money. I couldn’t get the check from the house until I paid her an additional 25,000 on top of the thousands I had already paid her, She’s a money shark. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

I had the unfortunate experience of having William J Kiernan represent me during a criminal matter as a contract attorney for the Alternate Public Defender. He refused to take my phone calls, he refused to respond to my emails, he refused to meet with me and most importantly he refused to properly prepare for my trial Kiernan, literally, did no preparation at all. He even failed to send out a written discovery request. Needless to say the trial did not go well. He is lazy, incompetent and basically worthless as an advocate. I would not recommend him in any capacity whatsoever.

I don’t know about you, but I have some very high expectations when it comes to attorneys who either represent me or others I care about. Here are the qualities that I absolutely expect out of an attorney: ethical; highly intelligent (yet real/genuine); honest; direct, highly regarded by the Bench; strategically smart planner; artfully persuasive, articulate; organized; makes time for talking about my concerns; powerfully appropriate in Court (in dress, style, and mannerisms); maintains healthy boundaries for all clients (whether they like it or not); is willing to gently, yet assertively argue with her/his clients when needed, deeply understands and adapts to the wide spectrum of human responses that evolve during the long arduous divorce process, is not so busy that she/he has no time for talking with me, and has a deep well of professional associates to whom she/he can refer her/his clients when needed (e.g. Forensic Accountants, M.F.T’s, Psychologists, other attorneys when case-specific issues require such a referral to a specialist, etc.). Iris McKay, Esq. embodies all of the above. Her successful representation of me was nothing short of a class act. I have respectfully referred numerous people to her as a tip of my hat to her overall skills as a divorce attorney. In each and every one of those cases, the referent came back to me raving about the quality of service that was proved by Ms. McKay. I relocated out of state and obtained new employment. I was informed that I needed to have my information updated due to
inaccurate information in the FBI database. I contacted the attorney and within 24 hours I was provided with a quick resolution to my issue. A Results of Criminal & Traffic/Minor Offense Records Search was filed with the court, the next morning and I was provided a copy. This was completed less then 24 hours.
