I didn't know Nathan, but he was really good to work with. He answered a bunch of questions I had (no charge which was cool), and walked me through how a revocable trust worked. We also took care of my health directive and he told me what was up with choosing a guardian for my child if I died so that was cool but not great to think about. But he actually gave me some questions and we worked it out in about 15 minutes. SO yeah, dude was cool for a lawyer.

OK, if you want an attorney who is really smart, friendly, and will listen to you, give this guy a call. I have hired Nathan for a number of different legal matters. He defended me when I was sued twice, he walked me through my estate planning, and he helped me negotiate a lease for a commercial space. I think he is an outstanding attorney because he actually LISTENS to me, he calls me back whenever I reach out, and he sends me periodic updates on the legal matters I have hired him for without me having to call first. He also saved me huge hassle when I got divorced, he called me and walked me through what I needed to do to stop my ex-wife getting my assets if I dided, I had no idea changing my living will wasn't enough to accomplish this. If he hadn't walked me through everything, she would still be listed as a beneficiary for my insurance, meaning she, not my sister, would've received the proceeds if I died. The other attorney I spoke with didn't say a word about this. Anyhow. Good luck with your legal issues no matter who you hire.

Ms. Wenzel is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She even makes housecalls for her elderly clients who find travel to her office difficult. Ms. Wenzel works very well with clients, who due to their age or condition, are sometimes difficult (and crochety). She is very patient, answers all questions completely and returns calls very quickly. I have been very pleased with her help for my parents and my uncles. I recomend her very highly.

Teresa is the best of the best.
We were lucky enough to have Teresa represent us in two cases. Both cases dealt with insurance companies. Teresa was absolutely outstanding in both situations.
The first case was a complex case where the disability insurance company only knew the word "NO".
The case absolutely had merit. However I could not find an attorney with the experience and confidence to take this case. The long and short was that Teresa took the case and obtained miraculous results. Her knowledge of the law and her extensive experience was instrumental obtaining the resolution that should have been provided from the insurance company from the start.
Teresa did not back down from a difficult yet resolvable situation. She worked tirelessly to obtain a favorable and just judgement. Teresa's ability to understand the subtle elements of our case and the many players invloved was vital to obtaining a favorable resolution. We did not expect to get such fine results. (Thanks again Teresa, we appreciate your efforts more than you know.)
Teresa is a freindly, personable lady, comfortable to deal with, and is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She kept us advised on all aspects of the case including her interaction with the court.
She worked tirelessly on this case combating (in this situation) a heartless insurance opponent.
Teresa always told us the truth in regards to potential outcomes. She gave us the knowledge to make the correct choices regarding how far to pursue this case.
The other situation was a resonably simple case, again dealing with an insurance company. It required all of the T's crossed and the I's dotted. However, simple is not simple as it seems, when you are the "insured".
Teresa made certain my case was "packaged" correctly so the insurance company would have to make good on the claim as it was submitted. I was very happy to let her do the "heavy lifting".
Again Teresa was responsive and gave me the personal attention she provided on the more complex situation. Without her assistance I doubt positive results would have been obtained.
Teresa has made a personal difference in our lives. Without her ability, expertise, and compassion our lives would be significantly different today.

I don't think anyone who gets involved in legal action comes away super-happy about it -- you just do the best with the hand you're dealt and hope you get some kind of justice for what happened to you. But if you need to get legal on someone, (bike-car collision in my case), Kimberly is great.
Sandy (her boss) comes to the important meetings (mediation), expert witness meeting, but Kimberly handled all the day-to-day of my case: depositions, records, letters to other side, stuff I don't know the name of, etc. She's a great communicator and easy to get a hold of. Super-professional and very confident and knowledgeable.
She's very smart and has enough experience to see all the angles ahead of time and steer you through the pitfalls. Since most cases settle, what you need from your lawyer is for them to 1) stop you from doing stupid stuff, and 2) talk you into doing smart stuff. For that, Kimberly was great, and very knowledgeable, and I think we had an excellent outcome. It costs a lot to sue someone, both in lawyer contingency fees and case expenses (which you pay all of and which get amazingly insanely huge if you go to trial), but Kimberly was always up front about all that, and that's part of why so many cases settle before trial.
My only critique of Kimberly is that occasionally I felt a touch "out of the loop", but most people aren't as micro-manager as I am, and when I did have a question Kimberly was always super-quick with an answer, and easy to get on the phone or email.
If I had to do it over I'd call Kimberly again, and that's very high praise for a lawyer! :)

Deb did a great job with setting up an estate plan for me. She's extremely thorough, and not just on the routine matters of distributing assets. She also made me aware of plenty of important things about how my my finances and creative content (I'm a writer) should be handled that many other lawyers would have overlooked. Howard was engaged by a coalition group to assist with a coalition agreement. He also met with the group to guide them on the key watch outs for the group's proposed activities in the US. It was like Howard could read our collective minds as to what the coalition group required. Extremely practical advice. Howard came across as a real expert on competition law. For my last criminal case I interviewed several attorney through out the state. Danny was referred to me by a close friend. After Danny traveled two hours to see me for no charge he thoroughly went through all of my paper work and discussed my case. He never over promised just over delivered, Not only is Danny awesome but so is the rest of the Jackson square law team. 4 other lawyers told me I was looking at a minimum of four years. Danny and his team fought hard and short only nine months and I ended up with 54 days house arrest. They saved my life and my relationship with my now wife. Not only have they helped me out but several friends now. We all call him the white Johnny Cockran! I have seen him beat case over case. The office charges a little higher retainer at first but with all of the hours they put in at the office and other areas they charge way less by the hour. I can't recommend Kevin highly enough. He helped me through a legal difficulty with great success. I appreciated the time he took with me to really understand the case and do the research involved. He kept my expectations realistic, but the outcome far exceeded them. He was friendly but also professional. He was so sharp and tough that I actually felt a little bad for the other side, which was woefully unprepared by comparison. In 2010, I experienced unbearable (and unlawful) workplace harassment and filed a Workers Comp claim which my employer promptly denied. I sought help from attorney Kenneth Sheppard to who I will be grateful for as long as I live. He was a terrific advocate and an absolute pleasure to work with.
From my very first contact in 2010 through my most recent one today, Kenneth was and consistently remained kind, patient, effective, and efficient. He was either readily available to speak with me when I needed it or promptly returned my phone calls and emails. Kenneth did everything needed to get me excellent results. He is not only knowledgeable, skilled, level-headed, and realistic; he is also calm, reassuring, gracious, and generous. For example, after my Award was finalized, my employer took an unreasonable time paying my medical bills. Though Kenneth would not be specifically compensated for it, he filed a Motion with the WCAB and I eventually got paid. With Kenneth help, I was able to return to work with my dignity intact.

I had a case with another Attorney representing me. I wanted to know how to change Lawyers because the one appointed to me was a U-Haul truck.
