I am an EB-5 immigrant. Earlier in 2009 I started to search for a way to get my daughter a chance to stay in the U. S. after college. I had no idea of the EB-5. I visited a couple of law offices but the results were disappointing. When I visited Mr. Vaughan de Kirby’s law office and talked to him I knew I had found a chance. I spent three days reading his book about EB-5 carefully. I trusted him because I got answers I wanted to all the possible questions I had on the investment and the law. I believed no one could have explained it more clearly than Mr. de Kirby. With confidence I made the decision for the three of us, my wife, my daughter and myself, to go on with the investment (with CMB). Ms Lily his assistant, and other members of his team, were so efficient in straightening out all my documents. In no more than three months my application was approved by the Immigration. Things went out so smoothly that in exactly two years the conditions to our green cards were removed. Last year, our investment funds were all returned to us! During the last few years, I recommended Vaughan de Kirby Law Office to a couple of friends who were also interested in EB-5. Sure enough, they have all been successful in getting their green cards and on the way to get their investment funds back. In looking back on my immigration experience, I can only say to my friends who want to come live in this great country: Trust the law and find a good attorney to help you.

Vaughan de Kirby and his Assistant Lily Shi worked closely with us and our families throughout the EB-5 application process. They did an excellent and efficient job and were always there for us when we needed questions answered. I now have my Green Card and a great job in the US. With the green card Vaughan helped me get, even people like me that did not graduate from ivy league still had a chance to work for one of the Fortune 500 companies and make six figures. I could never achieve this without Vaughan's help! Vaughan is the one I refer my friends to if they want a Green Card!

Mr. Harris is an extremely knowledgeable, and experienced lawyer in federal crimes. I don’t want to be specific in my case. His approach with me was realistic combined with optimism. From the 1st day I sat with Mr. Harris I was given the entire bigger picture, before narrowing in on the specifics of my case. My case was very complicated one because my I-140 was denied 2 times and my 6 years H1-B was expired almost a year ago. Also I had very limited time because my H1-B was expired and I-485 status could be expired anytime soon. That means I had to leave the US in a month or so.
I contacted more than 10 lawyers through my friends’ recommendations, but no lawyer wanted to take my case because my case was too complicated and no lawyer wanted to take a risk losing the case. And the time is too short for them to review my case and prepare for the filing. So I did some research on line and I found Arit. I emailed him first with all the information; my status, and my situation, and what I wanted to achieve, etc. Then Arit gave me a call about 30 minutes after I sent my email and he told me that he can take my case. That was the moment I felt a big relief from looking for a lawyer for almost one month.
Arit respects his clients very much. He listened to me and understood my goal. Once I started to work with Arit, I could file my 2nd I-140 in 3 weeks and I could file my 7th-year H1-B application only one week after I filed my 2nd I-140. As a result, My H1-B was approved in 2 weeks. Now I have my immigration status back and I can stay in the US and work!
Arit always answers all my questions and he explained everything in simple English very patiently. That was very helpful for me like non-native English speakers. Also he is extremely flexible in terms of meeting. I could meet him even on weekend when I really needed to meet him. He was always available to us via email, and very quick to respond. And Arit provided support throughout every step of the process to ensure a favorable outcome.
I don’t know the result of my 2nd I-140 because it will take 4-5 months, so I need to wait a few more months. Regardless of the outcome, I would definitely recommend Arit for all your immigration needs! I

I have used Arit's services for a recent change of status from h-1b to f-1. I was in a time crunch and had very little time to apply for the COS . Arit was quick in reaching out to me when I first contacted him and was able to file my COS on time. With regards to the same case I got a request for evidence. Arit was able to gather the evidence I provided and present it in a clear and understandable way to the USCIS as a result the COS got approved and I can continue my education.

hiring ruby was the best decision me and my husband made to file for my green card application that had been previously denied by USCIS. We had hired another attorney who was too busy taking more cases than he could handle, and as a result my application was denied as we were not well informed by him. My sister found her online, read her profile, and recommended her to us. She may seem gentle and naïve, but she is a very good attorney who can be firm when needed. I like that every time we were in her office for an appointment, she would always give us the full attention, answer our every question and always made sure we understood the process. It was one of the worst moments in my life. I was driving home and I crashed my car into a parked car. I was scared, lost, confused but most of all worried.
I was refered by a friend to a lawyer named Michael Linscheid, who turned out to be a saving grace.
He helped me go through the court system and provided me the reassurance that everything will be ok.
He is the utmost professional and his knowledge of the court system is extremely extensive.
After the court case had already happened, Michael followed up with me to ensure everything was on track to get my license back.

Hanlen was great. He provided consultation on my mother's estate planning and current financial situation. We also asked if he could help us with another situation, which we had not scheduled. He went out of his way to help us with this, providing detailed information, and ways that we could save money during the process. Hanlen Chang is very knowledgeable and was able to help me understand the laws and context relevant to my concerns and suspicions of financial elder abuse of a family member. I did not realize that local county laws and protocols in California can differ with regard to elder law issues. Hanlen guided me in being an advocate for my family, suggesting appropriate language for letters and focusing on the relevant information, while showing me why some points I was making were not really relevant. He confirmed that I have standing to ask for an accounting of the estate. Working with Hanlen gave me confidence to intercede on behalf of my loved one with an expectation of success.
Hanlen was also very responsive when the issue became urgent. He got back to me the same day to schedule a phone consult the following morning. Hanlen helped my husband and I set up a living trust and he was so easy to work with. Very professional, very knowledgeable and responds in a very timely manner. He even provided a handy list of what sort of assets would need to be transferred to the trust and how to go about it.
Hanlen also helped provide guidance on some more complicated issues with our extended family related to estate and financial planning. He has a pretty good awareness of tax planning as well so he can help bring attention to potential situations that may arise down the road based on decisions that are made today. Super helpful to get a holistic view of how to approach situations that we were in and be able to make better informed decisions.
He occasionally meets with clients in Palo Alto which has been really great for us since we're based in the South Bay.
We have been very happy with the services that Hanlen has provided so far and we will continue to reach out to him whenever future needs arise.

Dawns firm is a power house of hard working professionals. I feel my case could not have been better represented. No lofty promises. I hired John Forsyth to help me get my husband out of jail after he was arrested on a fugitive warrant when, unbeknownst to us, charges were filed against him in another state. It took us 9 very stressful days to get him out, and I don’t know what I would have done without John Forsyth. Hiring John to defend me in my case was the best thing I could have done. John is a true professional through and through. He is hard working, diligent, tenacious, and extremely knowledgeable. He is a straight shooter, and very focused, and keeps his clients informed at all times as to the goings on involving their case, no matter how small the detail may be.
John and his amazing defense team represented me in a sexual case where I was falsely accused, and was facing multiple charges that would have resulted in possible life sentences. My case dragged on for 3+ years in part, due to the closure of the court system due to the pandemic, and John stood by me every step of the way. Throughout the entire ordeal, John worked on my case with true professionalism, and always kept me updated as to what was happening, and what was the next step we would be facing as the proceedings continued. Knowing the severity of the accusations I was facing, John also acknowledged my fears and anxieties throughout the case, and displayed a very compassionate side as well by always encouraging me to stay strong.
As the prosecution continued to try different tactics ( ie...attempting to raise my bail, adding charges ), John always had answers that negated all of their attempts. John and his team responded to every "curveball" the prosecution threw at them in a timely and professional manner.
Ultimately, a plea was offered for a much lesser charge, and we agreed, as this would be absolutely the best possible outcome to what were the original charges. Although I didn't receive the full exoneration I had hoped for, I owe my freedom an my life to John Forsyth.
To anyone who is facing criminal charges of any kind, I highly recommend you look no further than John Forsyth. He is amazing, and between him and his team of professionals, I personally can not imagine you would find anyone better than John.
