John Boessenecker was recommended to us by a law professor at San Francisco University School of Law. After consulting with John and a few other probate attorneys we decided he was the right person to handle my father’s estate that I was appointed co-executor over. Soon after opening probate it was discovered that my father never closed his father’s estate (1968) which made the situation extremely complicated. This meant that we had to open probate for my grandfather. When the judge looked the situation over she said it was one of the most convoluted cases she had ever seen. Step by step John methodically pieced together the order in which matters had to be executed to make things happen and happen smoothly. During this time I became the executor over my step-father’s estate (yes, pretty insane!) and of course there was no question who to use. That estate also had challenges as multiple beneficiaries were named in a will but John knew exactly what, when and how to handle each step. If anyone is a wiz at this stuff, it is him. I honestly don’t think we could have made it through those tough times without John and am please to give him five stars here. His talents, character and work ethics are what make him successful and it has been a pleasure to work with him.

We had the misfortune of being involved in a personal injury case, but fortunate enough to have Tanya, Robert and team in our corner. The truth of the matter is, no one hopes to need an attorney -- but when you do, you'd best have a good one.
My case is finally resolved. I feel neutral but optimistic. There were a lot of obstacles to overcome. I'm learning to move on past the negative feelings that a lawsuit will no doubt bring up. That I feel positive at all is largely due to how calm, professional, fair, knowledgeable, connected, responsive, and empathetic Tanya's team is.
If you examined my case, it's clear that Tanya, Robert and team did an amazing job. Just about every box was checked. I would still trade it all in a heartbeat for the injury case to never have come up. Only a genie could do that. Tanya, Robert and team were the next best thing.

Mine was a divorce because of domestic abuse. Valerie negotiated with my former husband's attorney to get my former husband to accept a 3-year stay-away order without my having to testify in court! It was an achievement I hadn't expected but was extremely grateful for. It truly saved me a lot of anxiety. On the other hand, Valerie needs to acknowledge that older people have more life experience than she does and are frequently more experienced in human behavior, especially their spouse's behavior and thinking processes.

Last year I found Warren law firm through Google, I had tried 5 other law firms and no one wanted to take my case. I had 4 days to respond to my denial of my Green Card and Angela, Suyapa and the whole team set aside everything to work on my case and they worked effortlessly and went above and beyond. Within a month my denial was resolved and today I have my Green Card almost a year later!

I recently referred a personal injury case that involved serious injuries, liability issues, and defendants that were well funded (a municipality and a large construction firm) to Michael Kelly. Mike Kelly and his firm (Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Echevarria) not only met the challenge, "they blew the opposition away". Mike treated the client and his family with respect and compassion throughout the litigation process. Not intimidated by the opposition's constant "low ball" offers throughout the litigation process, Mike settled the case on the eve of trial for an astonishing settlement amount. The client was elated with the settlement amount, knowing that he would have financial security for the rest of his life. Mike kept me informed throughout the litigation process and was receptive to my suggestions and help. Furthermore, Mike was extremely generous with the referral fee.

Mike Kelly is amazing! I was a pedestrian hit by a car in the middle of a crosswalk. I was referred to Mike by a friend who highly recommended him. I was in extreme crisis when we contacted Mike. Since I was bedridden, he made a house visit on the weekend a couple of days after the accident. That alone shows what a caring, sensitive person he is. He sensed how distraught I was and made every effort to calm me. At that time, he took over the worries of getting financial justice and allowed me to focus on healing. That was major for me! Mike worked at making sure I was able to get the full amount of insurance from both the drivers insurance company and my insurance company. Words can not begin to explain how grateful I am that we found Michelle during this crisis. Out of pure luck, we were referred to Michelle by Douglass Rappaport, another Criminal Defense attorney who was extremely responsive and helpful but had too many cases on his plate at the time. He spoke so highly of Michelle, and even took the time out to personally give her a call to ask her to take on our case. We (my husband and I) have never been in need of legal help. In this particular situation, my husband had an outstanding bench warrant for a supposed community service obligation that was never fulfilled along with an unpaid fine associated to a violation of a restraining order placed by his ex-wife. It was a long string of miscommunication as well as a patch of tough times for my husband who at was not receiving any mail or notifications from the courts regarding these obligations which led to the bench warrant. After months of struggling to get back on his feet and rebuilding his life with his current family, we were surprised, to say the least when this bombshell was dropped on us out of no where. We have barely been able to get back on our feet and he was just getting some steady work when he was faced with having to serve potential jail time to clear this misdemeanor that he never even knew about! On top of that, he was being summoned out of Alameda County's Pleasanton Court House, which we very quickly learned, was the furthest from pleasant as ever. After going through and calling what felt like over a dozen criminal defense lawyers for help, Doug and Michelle were the ONLY ones who were kind enough to help us. Pleasanton is notorious for being unpleasant and extremely conservative and unreasonable. Hence, no other attorneys were willing to take the case. Michelle, however brought us in and had a very non-intimidating conversation with us. She was professional, sensitive, thoughtful and very considerate in her approach. It was a very scary time for us, as we needed the help but did not have a lot of money that we could spare on legal fees. Hearing about shady attorneys that just try to rack up the fees without putting in the effort, we were terrified! Without even having to mention this to Michelle, she walked us through what she would help us with, and gave us a VERY reasonable rate for her services. She came through on every promise that she made keeping us both in the best spirits. She was honest with us every step of the way and worked swiftly to get us past this terrible time in our lives. The day of our court date, she arrived early and prepared to fight for us, and BOY oh BOY, did she, ever! The judge we were appointed that day was notorious for not giving second chances or even hearing most people out. As soon as she saw the bench warrant, she immediately tried to book my husband and move on to the next case without even hearing us out. I believe that most attorneys may have just given up and walked away, but Michelle fought! She demanded that the judge look over the case again and to read the letters of references that we gathered. Luckily she did, because as the judge looked through the case files that Michelle very professionally demanded she look through, the judge found that the charge fell under some revised law that put this case out of her jurisdiction, which meant that the case had to be dismissed! My husband went from being handcuffed and placed in a holding cell, to walking out of the court room free and clear of the accusations and obligations. Michelle told us that she was gonna do whatever it took to help us, and she did exactly that. She was a pro in the courtroom and thanks to her, our family is happy and thriving again without having to skip a beat. If you are looking for an honest, hard working and experienced attorney, look no further. You will be in great hands with Michelle Dylan!

I felt the bankruptcy petition which Martha prepared on my behalf was a thorough, accurate, and – most importantly – successful legal document. Martha worked with me when I had delays raising the money to pay her fee, even though my delays led to additional work for her (in the form up updating previously provided information, etc.).
