D. D. “Terry” Hughmanick has been my attorney for about 10 years now and recently represented me in my complex commercial lease and fraud trial. Terry, with associate attorney James A. McDaniel and Terra Law’s wonderful support staff, represented me against one of the largest national real estate companies in the country and its very well-funded defense team of five attorneys and staff from a top firm. Due to Terry’s zealous advocacy, thoroughness, and deep legal knowledge, my claims were vindicated after a 15-day jury trial when the jury awarded me a judgment of seven figures (after including interest and a sizeable attorney’ fee award) as well as relief from liability on a guaranty. Mr. Brett Johnson is the best attorney anyone could ever hope for. By far, one of the two best attorneys I ever had. Mr. Johnson was meticulous in detail, drawing Venn diagrams and flow charts to explain Workmans' Compensation law and how the current laws effected the major points of my case. Mr. Johnson focused our office visits to making the process of securing medical help, the steps and time frames involved as thorough and complete as I could ever hope possible, advising clear and sensible, as well as practical and viable solutions for seemingly ongoing and difficult issues. Mr. Johnson's grasp and application of Contemporary Disability Law and of the necessaries and protocols required in securing a fair judgment demonstrated his expertise in application. He is outstanding not only as a professional but as a person who "feels" for his client. If you've ever talked or had any interaction with attorney Shen, you will know how nice, patient and professional she is. I'm so gratefully that she handled my case. Mr. Ferris is a passionate attorney that actually cares about his clients . I've had to hire several attorneys in my personal and business career and Mr. Ferris always took my phone calls or called me back the same day if not the next morning. He must be great at negotiating because both cases he defended for me were done relatively quick and the settlement was much better than I anticipated. This is a complicated review to write as Mr Morris was actually the DA who was prosecuting my case. But I must give credit where credit is due. I admire a person who shows conviction and tenacity. Mr. Morris unfortunately was going thru troubling times in his personal life, But didn't allow that to affect his performance in the courtroom. My personal belief is that Mr Morris knew the charges against me were shady and bogus. Yet he stuck to his job and represented the state with conviction. It was an honor to meet in the arena of the courtroom. and to watch him keep his case together despite the crumbling of his evidence and witness's. Should he ever decide to jump the fence and become a defense attorney. I think he will make an Awesome one and will truly make his mark on the world. My hats off to you Mr Morris.
