Michael Watters and his team are highly skilled and experienced in navigating the complexities of divorce. Not only did he skillfully navigate the legal system and advocate for my financial needs, he understood the importance of equalizing finances between households so that I can really show up for my children. He clearly has seen it all before, understands dysfunctional family dynamics and anticipated what my family needed when I was not able to advocate for myself. Michael got a court order to begin paying child support and alimony when my ex had stopped; he called for a financial deposition to reveal the money that my ex had been trying to hide and could not be revealed in a simple tax return, he got my ex to pay money to me for the house that we had acquired while we were married and then had pressurized me into getting my name off of the title as I was leaving the house before we were legally separated, and he was able to get most all of my legal fees to be paid by my ex as he had the ability to do so. I am so grateful for Michael and his team's work on my behalf. Without Michael's help I still would have been an unsupported single mom stressed and not being able to fully show up for my kids who are really the ones who suffer most in these dynamics.

Mr. Waters is not only an exceptionally knowledgable Divorce Lawyer but a highly experienced litigator which is critical should your divorce reach the courts. I believe he represented my interests very well and I had full confidence that he would have won my case had we ended up going to court. However (against his advice) I decided to settle just to be done with the process. I felt he was fair in his billing and I would hire him again if I needed his services.

Evan Zelig is the best criminal law attorney in Sonoma county. I had someone wrongfully accused of DV, and we called Evan immediately. He educated us on the law and the likely outcome. The charges were dropped in the interim but Evan still supported us as a courtesy on the hearing date to drop the charges and emailed back later to answer more questions I had. He's very responsive and I like that he helped me understand how the laws work for criminal cases so I could understand what was going on. He has reasonable prices (even though I didn't need to hire him) and a great attitude. Don't look elsewhere if you find yourself or a loved one charged with a criminal charge.

Although our case did not squarely fit into Michael’s normal realm of personal injury, he welcomed us to his caseload and assisted us in finding what we felt was justice in a complicated case.
When seeking an attorney of any kind, it is likely an emotionally charged and difficult time. Michael has a calming presence and straightforward approach. He was clear about expectations and process which was very helpful and appeased my anxiety.
Michael and his staff were knowledgeable, thorough and most importantly- honest and responsive. I never had to wait to hear from him. He kept me apprised of status at all times. He was straightforward, diligent and steadfast in getting us a fair judgment.

After searching and interviewing countless lawyers, I chose Tad to handle my case. He was genuine, sharp and attentive. Over the duration of the case he walked me step by step on everything I needed to do, what the process would look like, and even how the opposing lawyers were likely to respond.
He was diligent in his work and thought 6 steps ahead at every point in the case. Anytime I had any questions, he answered them and simplified it really well so that I could comprehend what was happening.

Do not retain Mr.Quinnan if you are in need of an actual advocate. He is sadly a cog in the broken machine. When things get tough he won’t be there for you. He is a man’s man in every sense of the word and I’m sorry that I made the mistake in trusting my life to him and his partner Peter Kuykendall. In my most crucial moment they deserted me and blamed it on the “fine print.” I guess speaking the truth was simply too much for these boys to handle. not a huge surprise there. Buyer beware.

I'm posting this for the benefit of anyone else that may need the assistance of a prompt and accurate attorney. I was backed into on a bike ride and flipped off my bike, landed on my shoulder and taken to hospital. I incurred some very painful injuries to my left side and right leg and arm.
Mr. Kevin McConnell, Attorney at Law, was recommended by a friend and I called him to see if I had a claim against the driver of the vehicle. He told me that he thought I did have a claim and I engaged him for the help I needed. He and his assistant Shannon Escobar went right to work on my case. Kevin and his assistant Shannon, provided me with excellent attention and a prompt and very fair settlement.

Unbelievably poor service . My mother passed well over three years ago. My sister was the Trustee for the trust. I requested copies of my mothers bank statements and was advised that they were Not going to provide them… I.have called and emailed numerous times to get clarification on the remaining fund distribution. I find it amazing that it has taken over three years to settle an uncontested trust. Communication is a great thing and I don’t understand the unprofessional attitude of these folks. I guess the longer they drag it out the more fees they collect. I cannot stand folks that don’t answere calls or emails. Finally, I did get ahold of the paralegal yesterday morning and “ Jonny” stated she would get back to me in one hour. I never received the call…,

In 2022 I had came in and needed their services. I spoke with Julie and It was a tough situation revolving my father that passed away. She told me what they could do and they did their best to help me. I didn't understand certain things at the time and was under a cloud of pain among other things. They still gave me patience and took the time to listen to what had happened. I couldn't get a resolution in my case and retrieve my fathers items to this day, but it was never because of Brockway Law. Roy was very helpful with this case. He was able to make a deal with the judge that I just do work release instead of sitting in jail. He was also able to make a deal with them to put me on informal probation instead of formal. He is an awesome attorney and really cares about his clients. I just would like to say that I did not have a pleasant experience with the law offices of J Chrisp at all. The reason why for that is after a year of J Chrisp law firm accepting my case, they finally tell me again after a year later, that there is nothing we can do for you that we have no case at all just by looking at the police report.
I asked the law offices of J Chrisp law firm What was on the police report that made us have no case at all to go after the insurance? Officer Schwartz of the Santa Rosa Police department stated in his statement that he cannot determine who was out fault at the accident, which is complete bullshit. I explained exactly how she was at fault for merging onto our lane. Not only at the time of the accident that he let the old lady who was at fault to leave the accident scene without even providing me her insurance information But Officer Schwartz of the Santa Rosa Police Department only stated this false information on the statement because he is white and the old lady is white and I am tan color skin.
I could tell you the whole story but it’ll take too long. All I know is the other party was at fault she merged onto my lane Sent me my wife and my kid to the emergency room. We have been doing physical therapy for almost a year now and we are still not getting better And I’ve been paying everything out of my own expense to get from supposedly an almost 5 star law firm office telling me that at the beginning you have a great case to all of a sudden zero case.
People please do not be deceived. The law offices of J Chrisp is the worst law firms I have ever experienced in my entire existence. do not be deceived of the almost 5 star reviews. It’s ridiculous if they really claim to be an almost really 5 star review law firm they would have told me last year when my accident first happened to inform me that we have no case here instead of them telling me we have such a great case here and getting my hopes up.
They have so many clientele that they can’t even start your case until probably eight months later or more is what it looks like to me.
Did you know not once have I ever spoken to an actual attorney at this law firm but all paralegals which is ridiculous
Jesus Christ, my God is my witness that’s all it matters at the end of the day. My wife knows, my infant baby knows that the lady was at fault.

I highly recommend the Law Offices of J.Chrisp to anyone who has received even the smallest injuries in a car accident. He was able to get me over 3x the amount of money that I had originally hoped for. Getting in a car accident can be stressful and traumatic but he helped my family get the best out of an awful situation.
