I have been working with Family Law Attorney, Tali Collins, for 2 years, and she is by far the best attorney that I have worked with for ongoing family law litigation. She is very approachable, knows her legal material, is detail- orientated, has an amazing memory, knows lots of helpful resources and her fees are very reasonable.
I have worked with many attorneys who have similar skills, but want you to hire them and are not great with working with the client that wants to self represent. Because I don't have the financial resources for a retainer, Ms. Collins has worked with me in preparing legal documents, preparing for hearings, and organizing and finding exhibits. She knows what individual judges want, so I feel like I am ahead of the game and know what to expect and how to prepare when I go to the hearing.
Recently, Tali Collins helped me prepare for my latest Parenting Time Modification Hearing and I feel more prepared than I did when I hired an attorney to represent me at the last one, and it saved me thousands of dollars. Ms. Collins knows all aspects of family law and I don't think I could have worked with anyone who could prepare me as much as she has.
I am so grateful that I found Ms. Collins, she has been an immense resource for me and has been so "spot on" with helping me in past hearings and litigation. This has been a great fit for me, and I even look forward to meeting with her. Colin is so much more than just a "Family Law Lawyer". He is an extremely kind and empathetic human being. I have used Vincent Matioli’s law service on a couple occasions. The first time was when I found myself in a pickle. I attempted to waffle my way through it alone because I didn’t think I could afford an attorney. Finding Vince was a god send. Not only did he get my DUI charge dropped he made the process painless. Between his experience, availability, knowledgeable paralegal, and flexibility with payments I was able to move on and get past this unfortunate event rather smoothly.
The second time I contacted Vince was for some legal advice pertaining to my Sisters divorce. He was able to help me understand how the process went which in turn helped put my mind at ease that my sisters lawyer was doing his job.

I am the owner of a large business so hiring lawyers is something I have had to do as part of the job many times. Here is why I give Melanie 5 stars:
*She was referred by an attorney that knew her by being her opposition in a hotly contested case and he had a lot of great things to say (and I trust him, completely, as he is my friend)
*She screened me as the client and not the other way around, although she encourged hat. She won't take the client hat can pay her but only the client that has a real case she is willing to sign her name on. She is not free, don't get me wrong, but she's more than fair in her rates.
*She is up front about costs and risks - it's the firs thing she explains. Unlike almost everyone else, there was never "I'm getting you paid" or someing equally ridiculous. It was "I can't gaurantee anything in this business, no matter how correct you are legally or facually" - what? Honesty?
*She is aggressive as can be, but professional - I am not embarassed by an over-the-top crazy person, but I am proud of the fact that she is no taking anyone's crap
*She is not afraid to sue and will do what she says she will in her leters to the other lawyer (it really is not a threat - it is what is coming if there is not a resolution)
*She litigates cases as fast as possible, doesn't take BS from anyone, and remains ethical no mater what - she tells her cliens (me, at least and she said everyone - I of course believe her) that she will not ever pursue a case to the point of crossing lines she is not 100% proud of, as in, no loss of integrity and unethical activity is not up for discussion
*Dirty lawyers make her sick - she will fight them and be mad with you! She is genuinely PO'd when she calls to tell you what was filed for no reason or bad reasons like billing the file
*She is in favor of the fastest resolution - she encouraged setlement at every step and encouraged me when appropriate - she is not in it to bill the file and does not bill in the shower
*Nobody working with her is any different - her partner is her husband and they are high school sweethearts. Silly as it sounds, they are as good as it gets by way of "good people' and they have an adorable family you will get to know if you hang around long enough or simple talk with her or her husband, Justin
*Remeber the saying "good things come in small packages" - small firm, small lady (she's not exactly the tallest one in the room, lol), but not at all small work - impressive is an understatement!
*She knows the HOA community well - the regulars know her and her firm, and they don't want to mess with her unless they think they can win - insurance defense is anoher story, as that means the atorney can bill and bill and bill until someone in the big insurance company finally notices and then like magic it's time to setle! Melanie predicted this like a psychic, although she's not- she's just been there many, many times.
*Ingelligence. I don't mean run of the mill smart but really, really sharp!
*Ethical yet aggressive as I could have hoped for. IF you don't think this firm is strong enough for you, then you want the dirty attorney and not the one that acts professionally and follows ethical rules all attorneys are supposed to follow
*Economical. NO billing in the shower or anywhere near it! Fair billing at fair rates. You do get what you pay for, but you actually get a bit more here. If you go to the lower rate lawyer, you will likely have an ambulance chaser type of person.
is a fair billing that is lower than most and what you pay for...much lower and you get the ambulance chaser
*I would refer this firm and specifically Melanie to my kids - that is how happy I am.

Ms Picarello was very professional.
She was very attentive to our needs and added a personal touch.
Often when you need to involve a lawyer, this is an unpleasant event, but Ms Picarello made as easy as possible. She was present at events she didn't have to be at and wasn't always running a tab.

I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my PI case. Unfortunately I ended up rear ended by someone texting on the freeway. I had no idea what to do once I left the hospital. Rayven and Anthony walked me through the whole process. Rayven ensured I received the proper care, including arranging for most of my recovery specialist to come to my home. I hired Nicholas to review a contract I had with a group home. I believed the quality of care my family member received was extremely poor, and went against what was stated in my contract. Nicholas got me out of my contract, I was issued a refund, and was able to move my family member.

Not only would I refer this attorney and his office to other but I have… to at least 8 other people. Through my experience, I was well informed, kept up to date, my concerns were addressed, issues were promptly taken care of and best of all… I was educated! My insurance company initially tried to patch my home from scraps in order to save themselves money. Their actions wore not only a breach in the policy agreement but downright wrong. The whole reason we have and are legally obligated to carry insurance is so that when things like this happen, they are there to help, and not try to squeeze by with the least amount of cost as possible.
Going through my claim with Mr. Dieker and his staff was the equivalent of going from initially total despair to confidently knowing that everything would be fine and just, in due time. I would highly recommend them for anyone going or starting the claim process. Call them as soon as possible, before you get talked into something that will cost you tens of thousands by the insurance company without you even knowing. A simple conversation could save you time, headache and untold amounts of stress. I have told Mr. Dieker and his staff to have anyone who wants to know more contact me directly as a past client, as I am more than happy to share my experience.

Errol suggested since I live in a condo, I should contact the property manager to handle an issue that my neighbor want to involve me in directly. His advice was 100 percent and I have not heard from them again. The issue was a rainstorm and the neighbor suggesting it was my fault that water was coming in their condo.

Mr. Page helped me to settle my car accident claim against two very difficult insurance companies. It was a long process due to its complication, but Mr. Page walked me through the whole process. At one point, he told me if this were going to the court, he would still stick to our original engagement letter (you know most attorneys charge differently for the trial) just because he could not stand what the insurance company was trying to do on my claim. Fortunately, my case got satisfactorily settled without going to the court. I think he probably should have retired by now, but I would highly recommend him because he knows what he does and more importantly, he has the ethics that are the key to everything. At first Rob wasn't sure if he would take my case. After speaking more at length with him he felt that he did want to help me. It took 3 years. Through the entire process Rob was very caring, compassionate and thorough. I knew he really cared about all of his clients. I live in another state so I would have to come back to AZ to prepare for the depositions and all the doctor appts. I felt like Rob was always with me and helping me. I met with Rachel to discuss "doing something". I kept hearing that I need a trust. I wasn't sure what that was, or what I should be doing. I met with Rachel and it was great. She is young, extremely sharp and easy to talk to. After going though my financial information and determining what I wanted to do with my "estate" (or lack thereof) Rachel gave me two options. We created a chart, so I could see the pros/cons of each option. I was pleasantly surprised when she encouraged me to take advantage of the lesser-priced option. She wasn't high pressured or salesy. She encouraged me to go home and think about everything discussed before making a decision. I went home and thought... and I emailed her some questions over the weekend. She responded to my emails over the weekend and even offered a follow up phone call. She doesn't bill for every little thing. Not for the emails, not for the phone call. I just paid one fee for everything. When I made my decision, she had everything prepared in a week and reviewed everything with me before I signed my documents. Rachel was fantastic!
