Zac was hired by our association to guide us through a difficult and complex case. He served as part of a team that worked with our association on a regular basis. His expertise, specifically on matters of insurance were top notch. He did a great job explaining complicated insurance concepts in a way that we as a Board could understand so we could make educated decisions. He and the rest of the legal team also would attend meetings with owners to help clarify the more challenging issues and answer questions. This was a huge support of the association Board. Zac is very personable and easy to work with which made the experience over the couple of years on this case much easier.

Mark represented me in a legal malpractice lawsuit. The attorney my husband and I had hired to help us with our wills and estate planning had, unbeknownst to us prior to my husband’s passing, created a real disaster. This resulted in a lawsuit between family members and was the absolute worst-case scenario I or anyone else wanted to go through, especially while dealing with my husband’s passing. Mark Johnson and Michael represented me in a personal injury case. I am a journeyman electrician, and I was seriously injured while working. I had no prior experience with lawsuits, and Mark and Michael were great. They guided me through the entire process, and my family and I are so grateful for their hard work. Mr. Boeshaar resolved an old IRS issue on a business that closed in 2005 efficiently and quickly. He dealt directly with the IRS rep, so I did not have to deal with them and settled a claim, that came completely out of the blue, that was originally for over 120k for less than $4000. Initially, I contacted the IRS, but it became clear immediately that this issue could escalate quickly. I had no experience dealing with tax law and honestly was not even clear on my rights and did not want to rely on the IRS for this information under these circumstances. Mr. Boeshaar's previous experience working for the IRS, no doubt cut through a lot of the red tape and he came up with a clear plan and punch list to resolve this claim. After providing what docs were still available after 15 years, he negotiated the settlement and case closed. I would never recommend anyone going it alone with the IRS without help. In my case the initial consult was not charged, so there was nothing to lose, anyway, but, as it turned out, a lot to gain.

Bob helped me out a couple of years ago when I had to unsnarl a nasty tax situation with the IRS. He was nonjudgmental and professional, and he helped me resolve the situation in a timely manner. Recently, when I needed help with obtaining a DirectPlus loan from the Department of Education, Bob was equally efficient. He managed to resolve an issue that I had been working on for two months in less than three days, and I was able to obtain the loan I needed for my daughter's college expenses. I highly recommend Bob as your attorney for any tax-related issues.

I had met Bob a couple of times before, and when I had a situation arise, I knew where to go for help. Long story short...my wife's grandfather was way behind on his taxes, being 80 years old and preoccupied with his wife dying of cancer. When we visited for the funeral, I heard of the situation with the IRS garnishing some of his social security income, sending letters, etc, etc. I decided to help as best we could. I gathered as much information as I could and went to Bob to see if he would be willing to take some time to review what I was doing and suggest some things. I followed his advice carefully, Bob reviewed what I had done, and we submitted 6 years of tax returns. Bottom line, instead of a $25,000+ tax bill, we ended up with refunds coming from the IRS! And all with little hassle once we followed the steps Bob recommended! He was very helpful throughout! I highly recommend Bob as his experience working for the IRS before helps as he understands how the IRS is likely to respond to anything you will submit. Thank-you Bob!!

Robert handled my E3 visa all 4 times. He is an amazing attorney because not only does he get everything done, he also handles all my questions (and I had millions of them) - and was extremely reassuring throughout the process. He's also responsive - I was anxious about when i'd be approved as I wanted to get back home, so he kept an eye on things, and even told me when another client's he had put in had come through which gave us an indication of their processing times. I am in a very complicate and devastating situation after my corporate immigration lawyer screwed up my perm case. While I was totally in the dark, I tried to seek external legal advices. I talked to a few other highly rated immigration lawyers found in avvo.com, but none of them were able to give me constructive advices regardless how much they claimed an expert in immigration. Some of the lawyers are too busy to even keep up with the latest immigration regulations and changes.
Just as I were getting into desperation, Robert was referred to me. I walked into the meeting with hesitation and expected to hear more or less the same thing as I had already heard from other "top" lawyers. But I was wrong. From the beginning I could tell he is very knowledgable and knows on top of his head every immigration laws/rules/policies. I was particularly amazed by how efficient he is on getting down to the points. He really thought through all possible options and walked me through an very insightful analysis of my case. Not only he understood how I got into the mess, he really knew how to get me out of it. For the first time, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
Last but not the least, Rober t is the first lawyer who makes me believe there are lawyers who truly cares about the client, but not fees.

After having my N-400 interview cancelled or postponed 3 times, I was really eager to get through the interview, which was finally scheduled 15 months after the N400 filing. However, the officer handed me a memo listing additional documents required and refused to even review those documents on the memo which I had with me then.
Robert Mimbu's office worked with me diligently during those 15 months, always answering any questions and giving me alternative ways to followup. His office also helped me draft my response and a statement along with the expansive list of additional documents requested. A month later, I received a phone call for the oath ceremony for which I did not have a written letter. When I arrived, my name was not on the list but my case had been approved and I became a US citizen almost 2 decades after arriving as a student.
I would recommend Robert Mimbu for all immigration related issues. He is fair and very prompt about returning phone calls. The fees are very reasonable too.

He explained everything as to how things would play out if we were to go to court and was always very honest with me. I really felt more prepared than I thought I ever was when I needed to be. Very personable and honest about how the little things really are sometimes the important things. I truly felt he was an advocate for my best interest. I was a little skeptical and lost hope with my case since it’s a little different and more complicated than some considering I came here as a child, but Cameron was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole entire journey. Brad (Bradford Timothy Doll) handled a land-use legal situation for me, and was selected out of a pool of 4 other attorneys that were interviewed thoroughly on their experience and would-be approach. Prior to the selection process Brad read through all initial documentation sent him and asked several very specific and clarifying questions. This was impressive as it showed a high level of attention to detail and interest in the case. Brad was the only attorney to construct for us a comprehensive strategy AND a plan to actually achieve that strategy. We liked that his plan was more comprehensive and provided foresight potential legal actions and consequences beyond just the initial stages. This included "what if" scenarios and realistic expectations of scope, schedule and cost. The initial letter composed by Mr. Doll and sent to the opposing side was thorough, solid and well-researched as were all subsequent documentation produced. The letter achieved a robust level of meaningful communication without being over the top in any way. I always felt that I was in "the know" regarding the process and proceedings the entire time; additionally Brad was very conscientious in adhering to scope and budget (and communicating with us each step of the way). The excellent level of communication was especially appreciated as many legal wrangling's could appear confusing and overwhelming to the layman. Brad was also able to provide solid references for other needed professionals (such as reputable contractors and Geotechnical Engineers). Overall, Brad was very efficient at ensuring that the time-sensitive situation moved along as expeditiously as possible while communicating effectively with all parties concerned. I never felt like I had to prod anybody to get an answer, Brad took care of this. Brad was always available for questions, and exuded patience, calmness and a high degree of knowledge in all of his input and responses. All in all, Brad did an excellent job in every respect, making what could have been a very stressful legal situation easier to navigate. I would hire the legal services of Mr. Doll or his firm again if the need arose.

When I initially contacted Mr. Crowley and explained my issue, Mr Crowley asked enough questions to make sure he understood my problem. He was very clear about potential solutions and suggested what he considered the best one was. He immediately put me at ease by giving me all of the important information. He did not talk over me or waste my time with legal jargon.
At every step of the way, he let me know what was going on either by email or phone, so I never felt lost or overwhelmed. I thought that I would be in court, but he ended up getting my case dismissed. Can't do any better than that.

I hired Matthew Parker to deal with estate planning for my family as it relates to assets/property both in state as well as out of state. Matthew was timely and collaborative in working with an out of state lawyer, and he did so efficiently so there was limited back-and-forth. He was was very helpful in identifying critical information we needed to properly navigate both elder law and tax implications as it relates to two different states (federal and state tax questions). Matthew had most of this information immediately available on consult, and he followed through within a couple of days for the information that needed to be confirmed and passed on to those in another state.
Overall, I found Matthew's demeanor to be pleasant and warm. He clearly is very sharp with a strong command of elder law. He communicated well both verbally and through his emails, and he took the time to explain the legalese terms that took longer for me to understand. Cost was reasonable, and for the help he provided, actually a bargain. I would not hesitate to utilize Matthew's services again.
