Tom is a great attorney. I've used him for probably 4 or 5 years now. I think I first used him for my divorce. I've used him for about 4, 5 or maybe even 6 speeding tickets...each one harder to get out of than the last, but Tom's never disappointed. He's handled my work's DOT Violations, MSHA/OSHA Citations, traffic tickets and accidents.
I use him so much, I almost don't care when I get in trouble. I just laugh and say, "time to call Tom!" He's a great guy, works hard and genuinely cares. I've dealt with some of the best attorneys in Syracuse, but nothing compares to the personable approach you get from Tom.

Mary Anne Cody represented my sister and I in a complex trust settlement. There were many moving parts and a lot of back and forth with my brother’s attorney. She was on top of everything and kept great communication going between us all. The fact that she is a CPA along with an estate attorney proved very beneficial. I would highly recommend her to handle your estate settlements.
We also needed someone to process the sale of the house. Ted Spencer was hired for that and also did an amazing job completing the transaction.

I have only good things to say about Mary Anne Cody, Estate Attorney and Ted Spencer, Real Estate Attorney. Mary Anne took on our difficult case involving a Trust with unique clauses. She had to do quite a bit of unraveling to get it straightened out. She kept a cool and calm presence in a sometimes chaotic scene with problems with a sibling. The advice and information she gave to me was priceless. We were able to settle the estate and all the accounts. Ted Spencer, did the closing of our father's property while making sure the Trust was followed correctly. This was very important in settling the house.
All in all, we will recommend Mary Anne Cody and Ted Spencer to anyone we know. This firm is one of the finest in Syracuse.

Hired Paul Carey for a family member he is a terrible lying attorney .. Paul is more like a police officer than a lawyer he lied to take your families hard earned money then he will switch the narrative and become combative . My nephew had him I do not recommend him for anyone you’d think his prowess of the law would have him on the side of the defense however he is on the side of the prosecution. Communication skills completely off lacks integrity and does not have the heart of any richeous defense attorney . The cases he have one must have been in a complete dumb because my nephews case he promised great things just to show he was just after money and it’s sad heart breaking and disappointing.. He should have been disbarred 5 years ago!!!!!!!!!

I worked with Mr Pack through the probate process of an estate and trust that was set up thru the Davies Law firm. I was very frustrated with the process, felt like my inquiries were not addressed in specific detail, and even when I asked a specific question about the law, a direct and correct answer was difficult to obtain. They should have informed me that she was out and when she would return. I did most of the work for my divorce. It was a joke what she came up with in the beginning. Quickly agreed to take my case. Took my money for the retainer. Then misspelled my name many times. Any time I questioned what was going on I got the runaround. Then billed for more money. My divorce was finally going to court but I had to provide the photos and was told I would have to pay for appraisals to prove ex's property worth. Everything was about money. She threatened to drop my case if more money wasn't paid the day before court. After divorce was finally granted after nearly 3 years, I received yet another bill for yet more money. DO NOT USE LAURIN HADDAD. According to my now ex husband I am officially divorced. Something that should have happened three months ago according to his lawyer, as this was her negligence. There have been several instances in which she has failed me. To begin with, she did not know my name, my husbands name, my case, or what I wanted. I had to advocate for myself and tell her each time we spoke the run down of what the plan was and what I wanted. Her office staff violated confidentiality sending me another persons Statement of Net Worth.

While trying to get my children back home and out of the foster care system, my husband had been assigned Lauren Heddad and thought that because she owns her own law firm would be a good choice for him but he found out very quickly that she never returns phone calls, never returns emails and does not associate with other attorneys for further information and considers it as "jumping through hoops" in which case told my husband that she does not do. She refuses to work with anyone else that pertains to a case that has more information then her and was just very rude to my husband when he tried to explain some situations and was rushing him as if he wasn't speaking fast enough for her and had better things to do then discuss his case.
Lauren Heddad is very unprofessional, very rude, and very cold hearted. I would not recommend her to anyone who is trying to win a case because she has a very poor effort to keep in contact especially when there is important documents to be delt with involving small children.
Very displeased and very disappointed with her attitude towards people and does not need to be in the lawyer business if she can't learn to communicate with her clients better.

I was charged with 45 felonies for writing illegal prescriptions throughout the county. I was APPOINTED Janelle as an attorney. She worked so hard for me, and because of the nature of the charges, she was able to get me into a Judicial Diversion program (Drug Court). I should have done serious time for this. But Janelle was the hardest working lawyer in the city. She isapproachable, returns your calls, and when there are updates on the case, she will come see you if you are locked up still unable to make bail. She won't come to see you unless something in the case has changed. So don't expect her to just come visit to say nothing has happened. Its a waste of her and your time. Thank you Janelle!!!
Update....since then, I have been back into the legal system, and AGAIN, Janelle has been AMAZING! She was able to get my charges reduced, and then a Conditional Discharge. She is awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIRING HER!!!

I was charged with a misdemeanor as a result of police misconduct.miss frias advised me to cop out to a plea bargain, despite lack of sufficient evidence against me, which I later realized was something many lawyers do to save much needed trial dates in the backed up court system. She told me all I needed to do was make arrangements to start the activity I agreed to in the plea bargain and I would no longer need to appear in court as she would do that on my behalf.a few months later, police are at my house, arresting me for a bench warrant.they wouldn't tell me the alleged date that I'd missed court.when they asked who my attorney was and I told them janelle frias....all three of them laughed and Said good luck getting out of this one.
My family tried to contact her while I was incarcerated, she did not respond.I was in jail for 4 days, she never contacted me.my family bailed me out, I've been home for five days and have yet to hear from her. I have court on monday and am looking forward to hearing her excuse for why she has not contacted me nor informed me these court dates I supposedly missed. Needless to say, she will be relieved of her duties as my case is too much for her work load and I will request a new public defender. I am utterly disgusted that this incompetent woman has helped this unjust system to taint my flawless reputation and record.I advise other victims of the judicial system to get a second opinion and to hound their lawyers, no matter how trustworthy they appear. No one should have to suffer needlessly in jail at the hands of a preoccupied attorney and have their families suffer and lose money for this reason.
