She made the process of divorce so easy. Due to the nature of the case(Domestic violence and children involved) her experience really reassured me. I appreciated that she was always just an email away and if I needed to schedule some time to actually talk over the phone about something she was usually able to get me in fairly quickly. She didn't use legal jargon, instead she made sure to explain the process in a way I was able to understand. I would not have been able to go through this process alone and Esther was the best choice in representation. If she was unable to assist personally, someone from the firm was able to step in and make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend Esther!

Jim Penney has successfully assisted with multiple unfortunate civil issues encountered here in Southeastern Arizona.
In a government position, a female co-worker made bogus accusations that she had been sexually harassed. When it came time for the deposition, she suddenly had a severe case of amnesia and in fact became quite angry when Jim caught her in her insatiable scenario of lies.
At a retail store, a female manager kept using unwelcomed words of endearment such as “hon, daring, sweetie…” when we were not dating. After multiple requests to stop such conduct, termination was the ultimate punishment. Jim was able to obtain a “Right to Sue Letter” from the E.E.O.C.
An H.O.A. President felt it was OK for females to enter the Men’s shower facility unannounced. An effective but diplomatic warning from Jim took care of that problem.
Another employer felt it was appropriate to terminate an employee for reporting serious health and safety issues on the job site in addition to known sex offenders hanging out in the children’s area. His representation earned an unemployment insurance claim.

Our case began in 2022 and just closed in 2024. There were some very difficult moments but we are beyond thrilled to finally hear, that this case against us has been officially closed.

Jacque Mingle beautifully carried through on multiple aspects of her training, as exemplified through her professional expertises: She was instrumental in overseeing the Guardianship Case on behalf of my ill, age-advanced mother (Alzheimer's), where concepts of elder law were at play, forefront and center. Because a contested, complicated Trust was involved, Jacque Mingle's Estate Planning background became invaluable. I would bet that Jacque Mingle has pretty much seen it all. (And she's so humble that, for the longest time, I thought that her specialty only allowed for her to handle Guardianship cases.) Later in the process, when I was erroneously, anonymously accused of elder abuse, much of it related to family dynamics and greed, Jacque Mingle stepped forward with patience and support, quietly leading the way to better days to come. Though Jacque Mingle changed law offices during this lengthy journey, she never missed a beat and kept her eyes on the tasks at hand. Mr. DiRoberto, not only handled my case in a timely manner with the utmost care and concern, but also treated my family and I, with the highest level of patience and respect, and at such a comparatively low and fair price. Early in the morning I get a phone call from my son and he’s panicked telling me he’s been involved in a shooting, for which he was eventually arrested and charge for 2nd degree murder. Thabet represented me in a lawsuit against a restaurant in which I fell off an unlit corner of an outdoor stage and broke my leg. He quickly gained my trust (no easy feat) and never complained at the amount of times I called with questions or a need for reassurance. He took the time to get to know me as someone more than just a client with a broken leg, and always surprised me with his patience and empathy (I've heard too many lawyer jokes). He was always straightforward with me, and was well-versed in the laws of the county in which I live, even though at a distance from Tucson. He never pressured me, and he let me take all the time I needed to make all the hard decisions these cases seem to entail. Best of all, he made it possible for me to settle with the restaurant in a way that satisfied both the owner and me.

I found Mr. Khalidi to be duplicitous, perfidious, unorganized and lacking knowledge of the financial aspects required in dividing community property. Additionally, Mr. Khalidi and the opposing council Mr. Robert Lewis III erroneously tried to utilize 2005 superseded case law Biddulph v. Biddulph (1985) to massively overvalue community property in favor of the petitioner.
My goal was to settle as quickly as possible, and Mr. Khalidi made this process very difficult for them. I provided Mr. Khalidi with evidence and expert witnesses, which he dismissed. I also tried to hire a different attorney, but Mr. Khalidis peers refused to take over my case or were busy. I gave Mr. Khalidi one star because I couldn’t give him a lower evaluation.

I was catapulted into divorce, and blindsided by my (then) husband. From the moment I walked into Matt’s office, I was welcomed with kindness, empathy, strength, lots of tissues and I left with a plan. Matt and Jen took their time to hear “my story” and really listened to my hopes for my marriage as well as my worries about divorce.
Matt and Jen were there EVERY STEP of the way from start to finish, 2.5 years of false accusations, malicious and fabricated statements that attacked my role as a mum, my integrity and could have significantly impacted my career. I genuinely thought I was going crazy.

If there were more stars available to give this office, they would be given as this law office saved my life. I was facing some pretty serious charges due to false allegations made against me by my ex-wife. I had never been in trouble with the law before and it was something that caused great strife in my life. His entire office was extremely supportive throughout the entire process and never made me feel like I was just another case; I was never treated like a criminal and my family and I received their full support. Everyone was extremely responsive to my needs and addressed any concerns or questions I had along the way. This case was heavily overcharged and due to negligence on behalf of my previous lawyer, the case was prolonged by several years. After firing my previous lawyer who did not have my best interest at heart, I hired a lawyer from this law office who, due to personal obligations, handed my case over to Joe. From the beginning, Joe St. Louis and Ryan Huffman ensured to gather evidence for my defense and kept me informed every step of the way what the game plan was. Unfortunately, there was much push back from the prosecution office when it came to negotiations and my case ended up going to trial. Joe is a master attorney and went into that court room more than prepared, even though the burden of proof fell on the State. I was acquitted of the major felonies and even when the State decided to pursue lesser charges in a second trial, Joe never wavered. In the end, the State negotiated with Joe and we ended up with a more than favorable result. I went from living my life full of anxiety and fear, not knowing if I would see my family again to being able to look forward to living a normal and full life once more.
