We recently had a very complicated trust matter as we were moving a trust from La to Az, where laws are very different. We also decided to make new wills and basically restructure all of our estate planning. Other attorneys we spoke to made our goals seem virtually impossible. Craig made it seem easy (even though we know it was not). Everything was handled quickly and in our best interest for the future and the future of our children. We can't say enough positive things. And just a note - the staff in his office are friendly and pleasant as well.

I don't know what would I have done without Ms Valdivia's aggressive and steady legal support. In a few words, she saved me from unjustice, she took me from a puddle of mud and put me in a safe shore. I have nothing but praise for both Attorneys Michael Iaria and Annamarie Valdivia! They worked in collaboration to help me petition for the Governor’s Pardon – and did so successfully! I want to give God the utmost praise for the great blessing of leading me to these two talented and hardworking lawyers, and for the favor of the Governor’s pardon itself. Because of this, I am free today. Not only me, but my entire family. This most recent Fourth of July is our first when words like “freedom” and “independence” have really meant something to each of us.
Below I want to briefly enumerate my thanks to each lawyer.
What my family and I appreciate about Atty. Iaria is his honesty, fairness (especially in the fees he charged), and reliability. When we called with questions or just wanted to talk over a process, he always answered right away. He would even answer when we would call him at night, or he would call us back after office hours. With so much of the process that I didn’t understand, I really appreciated knowing that I was working with a lawyer who made a point about making himself available to and reachable by his clients. He is thorough not only in matters of paper work but also in following up with people!
As for Atty. Annamarie, she was remarkably friendly, positive, easy to talk to and therefore easy to relate to. She helped me throughout the whole process, and especially during my nerve-racking court hearing in Olympia. She was genuinely passionate about helping me and my family, and this showed in the way she stayed in the courtroom with us, waiting for hours for our turn to arrive. Over and above this, her genuine care showed in the way she related to me not just as a client but as another woman. She shared enough about herself and her background to let me and my family know that we were in good, capable, and caring hands. When approaching Atty. Valdivia with questions, I never felt worried or intimidated because she was consistently attentive. Sometimes, I had questions I didn’t know how to phrase, and she would still “hear” me. She really listened! She answered my questions and concerns kindly and, when she missed my calls, she called back right away. Overall, she is the best lawyer I could have worked with, and am confident she could help so many other women with special cases like mine.
I am so grateful to Attorney Iaria and Valdivia for helping us fight – and win – this great battle. Other lawyers I consulted with easily dismissed my case as hopeless or too difficult. My ex-husband passed last month, and lived in AZ. Our children live in Hawaii, and they had no idea what do do upon hearing about the passing of their father. We have been told that no Will was left, so we knew we needed to talk to an attorney to help us with this process. On the recommendation of another law firm, I was put in contact with Mr. Struse. We spend an hour long Zoom conference call with Mr. Struse and we all felt confident that he was the correct attorney to speak to about our concerns and helping us navigate our next direction. He answered all our questions, listening patiently, giving us ethical / straight forward advise. We left the conversation with the knowledge of how probate works and knowing how we need / want to move forward. Thank you Mr. Struse so much for helping us, especially with the distance problem (Hawaii - Arizona) and having no Will in place. Mr. Stuse is extremely east to talk to, answers your questions, helps you understand the process explaining in plain English, and was genuinely empathetic to our situation. I also need to add, Andrea, his paralegal, was wonderful to talk to and did a fantastic job setting up our Zoom appointment and doing the intake of information before our appointment. I truly wish I could find a law firm like this in Hawaii.

I've used the services of Slosser Law Firm's, Timothy Struse, in the past when he deftly sorted out my deceased mother's property holdings and got my sister and I on track to transfer the property title. The property had been taken out of the Trust to be refinanced when my mother was still alive, but was mistakenly not put back in the Trust. So when it came time to make sure the remaining properties were in order to sell and sign off on the escrow documents with only one Trustee instead of two, hiring Timothy Struse again was a no-brainer. Timothy made the process easier and saved my sister and I a lot of time and effort. He's affordable, fast, pleasant and knows what he's doing. You can interview other attorneys like I did prior to hiring him the first time, but I guarantee you I am most happy with Timothy and can't recommend him highly enough.

Tim Struse handled our case of Trust settlement. My sister and I had been working with another lawyer for 6 months to obtain our rightful inheritance after the death of our father, but the trustee of my father's Trust (his second wife) chose to interpret the documents to give herself all the income from the Trust assets for life even though our father had made it clear in the last amendment he signed before his death that she was to receive a lump sum and his children were to receive the remainder. We were getting nowhere until we hired Tim Struse who promptly drew up a Trust Distribution Agreement which all parties felt was equitable. Throughout the process, Tim kept us informed of progress, answered all our emails (sometimes within minutes) and made us feel like we had a powerful ally. I would highly recommend Tim Struse to anyone with Trust or Estate problems.

My experience working with John Leader could not have been better! My case (including all of the Appeals) lasted over 7 years. Throughout the entire process (which was very emotional and difficult for me), John was knowledgeable, communicative, yet understanding and comforting in regards to what I was going through. Last but not least....we won our case (which had never been done before against this entity), and prevailed through 3 appeals! The judgement exceeded all of our expectations. While I would trade it all in a heartbeat, I would not have wanted to go through this ordeal with anyone else! John is a wonderful attorney... & person!

I came to Mr. Buttons with a convoluted mess of a tax situation complicated further by a stressful IRS audit (complete with intimidation, threats, wrongful seizure of tax return monies, and freezing of bank accounts). Prior to retaining Eric, I worked with two local CPA’s to reach a resolution (neither of whom made any headway), finally in desperation I went searching for someone with the acumen, knowledge, and skill to handle the audit and make the nightmare end! I had almost given up hope of ever getting justice and was certain the odds of seeing a refund from the IRS was nonexistent. After retaining Eric, he immediately had the IRS release their hold on my bank accounts and, in relatively short order, managed to completely resolve ALL of my tax issues. As I type this, I am staring at a letter I received this morning from the IRS containing confirmation of resolution as well as a check refunding everything. I have no doubt that had I continued without Eric’s help I would still be fighting and miserable. If you are looking for a tax attorney/CPA you cannot find anyone more versed in tax law and more capable of forcing the IRS to follow their own rules than Eric Buttons and his team.

Natalie made the best out of a bad situation. Divorce sometimes comes out of nowhere, and when children are involved the emotional toll that takes can be paralyzing. Natalie and her paralegal Diana did an amazing job walking me through the process with great communication and advise. Many times she had to ground me in the facts even when the outcome seemed to be unfair. Her knowledge of the law and the process made things turn out the best I could hope for. Upon my initial consultation with Mr.Murray, I found him to far exceed the high recommendation he came with from a very good friend of mine. I enlisted his services to help in getting my vehicle back from the AZ DPS. The real pieces of work that they are, they were trying to keep my vehicle for seizure with no merit whatsoever. It took a phone call and a very brief but oh so effective letter from Mr. Murray and, upon recognizing the error of their ways, promptly returned my vehicle. Mind you I had been trying, obviously with no luck at all.

Mr Boatwright represented me as my public defender a couple of years ago and he cared very much about me as a client and he cared very much about getting the best possible outcome for my case. He listened to me and explained anything I didn't understand and even told me he would assist me with filing another form once I finished paying my fines even though the case was technically over after I completed probation. I have unfortunately dealt with several different public defenders because of a family member and I have never encountered anyone that cares about their clients like Mr Boatwright, in fact, usually my encounters with my family members public defenders were the opposite and they didn't hide the fact that they didn't care about their clients or that they were unwilling to fight for their clients and would always say to take whatever plea the prosecution offered. Mr Boatwright was totally willing to go to trial and fight for me if that's what I wanted to do and anyone that has him as an attorney will be well taken care of. He will return your phone calls and he will spend the time needed in office to go over your case with you. I would definitely hire him again if I was ever in trouble again and if he was in private practice.

Corey was hired by me to defended a series of charges. The first charge was for several felony charges that where levied against me for a medical marijuana grow and patient cooperative that did not meet the letter of the law in compliance. After being let out on bail, a traffic stop resulted in a second set of charges by the Pima County Sheriffs department. They siezed my vehicle and charged me with 3 additional felonies. The second charges were an over charge trying to create a case or patern when one did not exist. The first resulted in a plea that ultimately was an undesignated felony that reduced to a misdemeanor after successfully completing my probation and cumminity service. The second set of charges, were ultimately fully dismissed. The Sheriffs department recharged me in different courts after each dismissal but ultimately Corey was able to get all charges dismissed once he could argue the case. Corey was there to explain what was happening and arguing hard for me. He took a very unpleasnt experience and got me a great resolution to a horrible situation. I highly recommend him.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Angela was to work with. I had initially been solicited by a large out of state disability law firm based on an online survey I had taken. I quickly discovered they were doing very little that I could have not done myself and merely listed diagnoses on my original filing, and not the most significant ones - which of course was denied. I thought I was stuck but thankfully a family lawyer in town recommended that I call Angie.
Angela talked more with me on my initial phone consult than the firm I had filed with did over the course of almost 2 years. And though I was very limited functionally, I had not sought a great deal of medical care due to limited finances and insurance. Angela took the time to really review my records and ask me questions about how the various issues I had effected my day to day functioning and had me request a letter from my primary physician. She took that and all my records and wrote a wonderful On the Record Request for my hearing. While it was a very stressful time, her responsiveness and knowledge about each step of the process really helped. I ultimately did get a fully favorable decision and back pay for over 2 years and am sure this would not have happened with the big out of state firm I had initially signed with.

She explained the fees which I thought were more than reasonable. All through the process I was kept informed by the staff in her office.
