I unfortunately have some experience in and around a court room. I have hired quite the collection of lawyers from several regions and districts throughout the state of Virginia as well as two in Florida. I am doing a rough estimate here, if I had to say what I spent in attorney fees over a forty year period it would land north of 85k. Now out of that 85 k. I’d consider that I got value for my money, say roughly about 35-maybe 40k worth. That would translate to three to seven lawyers that I felt actually earned the payment. That they actually did the work, fought for my well being, got me the absolute best they could ! Out of the”seven” good attorneys that I have hired, I can not include Mr. Brian Latuga into that alumni class. There is good reasons for this !
Brain Latuga has fought harder for me than any litigator I have ever seen, retained, spoke too, or has assisted my family and I in any manner. Mr. Latuga is in a class of his own. Beyond being a wonderful, dedicated family man. A great and honest man, he is a caring and compassionate man who will look deep into who you are, who you used to be, who you want to become, and most importantly what the hell has happened that brought your life to a screeching holt ! What circumstance led to your incarceration, or hardship that is being imposed by an infraction of today’s justice system. Brian will look through every aspect of the case and he knows how to work within and around the courthouse. He has more knowledge of the law than all of the attorneys I have hired in my life combined, and his work ethic is incredible. I don’t want to reveal personal details that pertain to my situation directly but Mr. Latuga has gone above and beyond for me and my family. He would return my wife’s regular weekly freak out calls during my incarceration. Always straight forward, he would never give us false hope or blow smoke to get us to stop bugging him or bombarding his email server. He would respond to us in 24 -36 hours regardless if it was a holiday or the third time that week we had a panic attack or freak out. He went well above the standard client visitation commitment that are outlined in his retainer contract. He has truly looked out for my best interest and has been by my side fighting and fighting and fighting to see me through the hardest and scariest time of my life. I could not imagine how I could have gotten through this without him nor would I have made it this far without him!! Brian Latuga is the BEST attorney in this city, district, state, and he is an amazing human being who truly cares and fights for you and your family!!!! He should be your first, last , and only attorney option if you are facing a fight, this man is who you want in the ring with you !

After running into some legal trouble, I went searching for an attorney to represent me in court. I made a few calls around town but Mr. Pfeiffer was the only attorney to answer his phone on a Saturday afternoon, and he took my call while at a sporting event for his child - much respect earned for that.
Mr. Pfeiffer not only answered my call, he took the time to answer all of my questions up front and even offered advice on what I should do even if I didnt decide to hire him. He offered me a flat rate charge, which would never increase even if additional follow-on services were needed after my initial court appearance. He charged an extremely competitive and fair price for his services.
Throughout the process of working with him, he was very reassuring and had top-notch communication with me, always answering my calls and texts in a timely manner. Mr. Pfeiffer gave me a list of things to do, told me what proof to collect and what to bring to court.
On the date of my court appearance, Mr. Pfeiffer was able to get my case dismissed and I was in the court room for a matter of minutes. The entire process was quick and painless, I was shocked at how fast it was. I think I honestly asked him "That's it?" afterwards. Mr. Pfeiffer was also able to recommend me to a colleague for expungement processing at a discounted rate.
He made my entire experience with court easy and pain free, at a time when I felt scared and vulnerable. I can't recommend Stephen Pfeiffer highly enough and will definitely be using him in the future for any legal issues. You will not regret hiring him, he has definitely earned my five star review.

Pete Kageleiry saved our son's career and good service reputation. He was facing an administrative separation board due to false allegations. I hired Mr. Mitchell to assist with the very sad but necessary eviction of a family member from a townhouse. Mr. Mitchell was always prompt, courteous and professional in all our communication, which was made more challenging due to me living out of state. He informed me thoroughly of my legal rights and responsibilities and of legal actions to be taken in various circumstances. He coached me well in how to communicate with the family member tenant in order to comply with the law and get the best outcome. He took care of serving the tenant the written notice. Frugal Legal Services should be the staple for how all parents are represented in custody cases. Ms. Burroughs worked hard and diligently on my case and set realistic expectations. My case had a ton of unrelated issues to custody and Ms. Burroughs was completely understanding and worked through our nearly 9 month case. Ms. Burroughs is a magical and enlightening person who gets results. I went from having no contact with my children to now everything is 50/50 and I get to see my sons every other week and have the assurance that no one should be able to change that. I recently hired Mr. Louie to defend a charge of speeding at 80mph in a 55mph zone. As an out of state resident, I was surprised to learn that this is automatically considered reckless driving in Virginia, which itself is considered a misdemeanor in the state. Mr. Louie's counsel resulted in a proper outcome which was in line with our goal of avoiding a reckless driving charge.
Both Mr. Louie and his staff were professional and attentive throughout the process, and his experience is demonstrated by his knowledge and calming presence. It is obvious that Mr. Louie has a strong working relationship with many parties in the Virginia Beach area. I was pulled over for going 37 over the limit. I did not know how strict the laws in VA since I'm from NJ. I had called several lawyers who I just didn't trust or like. So I went with my gut and chose Peter Louie. My instinct was spot on. Peter is realistic, knowledgeable and most importantly honest. I was facing jail, license suspension, a misdemeanor and a $3500 fine. I walked away with a $400 dollar fine. Adam Carroll recently represented me on a probation violation in Chesapeake he was recommended to me by a lawyer that i usually use . This was my second violation in which I violated condition 1 and 8 . Condition 1 is the worst one to violate it means i brought back a charge. 7Mr Carroll researched my case meticulously and fought very hard for me on court. This was a false positive urinalysis case. I consulted Mr. Grover Baxley briefly over the phone. He knew which questions to ask, and gave advice even before the retainer fee was paid. At this point, he was polite, professional, but also detail-oriented on initial questioning. He outlined the lengthy military legal process, as well as his fee schedule. On paying the retainer fee, Mr. Baxley gave clear instructions on the items needed from me, including a rather detailed "Love Me" document -- basically a binder of my entire life including disciplinary actions, CVs, and accomplishments/awards.
Mr. Grover Baxley will work behind the scenes. For some people, at times, you may feel as though there is no progress in the case, and that this is all a test of patience. However, and especially on discovery of evidence, Mr. Baxley will be prepared to cross-examine -- will be prepared to use even the government's own witnesses. If you have an engaged Area Defense Counsel team, this will make your defense even stronger. Mr. Baxley will call occasionally for updates, to clarify information, and to schedule conference calls for larger updates.
In my case, Mr. Baxley arrived in the area the week before a scheduled trial. I was able to meet Mr. Baxley in person at this time, and we were able to discuss the upcoming process in depth. I was assured that my defense team was as prepared as it could be. Mr. Baxley engaged the courtroom during the trial. He strategically cross-examined and was careful with his questioning. And his closing arguments evoked in me emotions I'm sure I shared with some jury members.

If you’re where I was just 7 months ago, you’re in a bad spot, with your career, reputation, and everything else you’ve worked your butt off for in jeopardy. I searched for the BEST military lawyer upon being notified of an allegation of a positive urinalysis result for marijuana. Having never done the drug my entire life, and knowing the government wanted to bring charges against me, I knew I faced an uphill battle and long road ahead. I submitted a form, giving a brief synopsis on what I was up against, and Grover quickly called me back. I contacted Mr. Baxley in February of 2022 after a positive urinalysis result. Not knowing how this result came to be I knew I needed an expert. I have 12 years of honorable service (active and guard) with no history of ever being in trouble. Mr. Baxley commanded the board room and after two days of the hearing, the final result was no misconduct, retained in the Air National Guard. Now I can continue to serve until retirement.
