I gave them 1 star because I called to get my remaining balance to pay off. Their accounting person was awful and rude. She did not know what the fees are being charged for nor the remaining balance that I would had to speak to the lawyer handling the case to get the final balance. That was fine but why be nasty and rude if clients are asking. They really need to train their front office or accounting staff better customer service or how to properly talk to clients better. My husband called a second time and asked to speak to a specific paralegal or lawyer involved in the case to get the final balance and they mistakenly transferred him to this accounting person they had again. She was soo rude and spoke to us both slowly like you are talking to a 1st grader like we did not speak any English. I do not know if it’s because of our last name but we both were born in the states so there was no need to belittle people that are trying to pay off their remaining balance. Makes me think she speaks to all foreigners this way and everybody should be spoken with respect regardless what race, former or current client. We will not be using them ever again for any services knowing they have rude and nasty accounting or front office staff that are not properly trained. I will also be telling others I know about this awful experience.

Ms. Paulding was engaged as co-counsel for two felony charges, the most serious of which carried a very long prison sentence. Through her efforts the most serious charge was discontinued and the other charge resulted in probation.

If I could vote 10 stars I would. 1/4/19 Friday morning I was googling different attorneys to find an attorney by 1/7/19 Monday. Ms.Paulding paralegal Ms. Mary Ann answered, I spoke to her about my situation. She left a detailed message for Ms. Paulding through out the day she called me giving be updates on when Ms Paulding would call. It was an very stressful time in my life and I felt like I was ready to give up. Ms. Mary gave me so much hope, that I stopped worrying. Ms. Paulding is hands down the BEST lawyer you can have. She is not only well experienced, reliable, with incredible analytical, research and communication skills, and judgment but also she is an amazing person who treats her clients with not only respect but the care you need when in an unfortunate legal matter.

I started off with another attorney who thought I should just pay what the other party was ordering me to pay. Then I got a referral from a good friend of mine, so I called Jeff Howell. Jeff rolled his sleeves and jumped right in. Less than a week later he had negotiated a settlement agreement for less than half of what the other party wanted. As soon as that was settled I signed him up as my registered agent and look forward to using him for all of my legal needs. Ms. Blessing was recommended by a friend. Upon speaking with her and a mediator, our divorce was settled with both parties happy, and processed within two weeks. She took extreme care to ensure that it did not become contentious, and was very thorough in her explanations of the processes. We walked away from it with minimal fallout and mostly amicable. I originally came into contact with Mr. Rowlands when he represented the individual I was suing in General District court. (In other words, he was the opposing counsel).
He litigated that case so well and effectively, that I followed up with him regarding a matter I needed assistance with regarding a Federal inmate I'm advocating for. He completed the most thorough and complete version of that particular document (a Power of Attorney,) I have ever seen.
The third matter I consulted with him on was regarding a civil matter in General District court I had started on my own, but then needed to follow up on with counsel.
For one thing, one generally wouldn't choose to secure the services of former opposing counsel, but due to his excellent work, I was so impressed with Mr. Rowlands as a whole, that I knew he was who I would want handling any legal matter I may ever have.
He was a superb litigator (with a difficult client who he was working with under far less than ideal circumstances,) and we worked together to reach a settlement that was satisfactory and in the best interests of all parties.
He is a great communicator and truly goes above and beyond to get the job done.
Even more impressively, regarding the third matter, while he certainly gave me the resources and information I needed to handle the matter, he also advised me that in his opinion, while I have a case, the time and energy required for me to pursue it really wouldn't be worth it, in the long run. He also advised me of an entirely different option that I will be pursuing in the interest of justice.
Mr. Rowlands has impeccable ethics and skill. He is very easy to work with (regardless of which side of the table you're on!) and I could note rate him any higher than I have.
I will most definitely go back to Mr. Rowlands for any legal matter I may have in the future.
If you need a good lawyer, regardless of how simple or complicated your case may be, he is the man for the job.

I had unpaid rent from a commercial property. We met the other attorney at court, negotiated and settled the dispute in record speed out in the hall before even going in front of the judge. This clearly could have been dragged out costing me money. I was very pleased and impressed with the entire process. Not all lawyers are interested in dragging out a case and taking all your money. Over the course of the last 14 years I have used four different attorneys for the various issues that have arisen regarding custody of my child. Throughout my cases I was left wondering what my counsel was really doing. My attorneys were hard to get in touch with and I never really heard from them until a couple of days before the case went to court. I felt completely in the dark.
With Kellam, things were different from the start. He was very honest with his assessment of our case. Time was of the essence in my case and he hit the ground running. I had access to all the documents he had in my file through his internet-based case management system. I got the updates for our case as soon as he got them and I knew every step of the way how things were going. If I needed to ask a question, I got a quick response to my e-mails.

Linda is helping us out with a child support enforcement issue. She put our minds at ease immediately. Her expertise on the subject was apparent as soon as she gathered all of the relevant data on our case. She even gave strategies for how to discuss these issues with our child when they come up. She also gave a list of psychologists that can help. This is such a sensitive subject and can be traumatic for the child. It was nice to have an expert lawyer who cared for the human beings involved in the case, not just the case itself.

I was looking for a lawyer who would offer a free consultation to help me determine if it was worthwhile for me to pursue spousal support. I had read favorable reviews on Linda Shin and scheduled an appointment. I was, admittedly, disappointed when I was scheduled to meet with her associate, Michael Finch. I should not have been. He listened intently and compassionately while taking notes throughout our consultation. After, he asked me to supply more documentation/information and allow him time to research. After multiple back and forth emails, he advised that there was likely little to be gained by pursuing this action. He spent far more time on this than I ever would have expected for a free consultation. I was tremendously impressed by his ethics and integrity and would not hesitate to return to this firm with any future needs.
