Where does one begin to describe Natalie Womack? One would obviously say professional, wise, experienced but, the key characteristic that really won my wife and I over during our legal process was supportive. When it came down to crunch time, she able to lend her services in an unscheduled appointment that went into the late evening to review our case and documents. Mrs Natalie Driver Womack is an amazing and dedicated lawyer. From the first day in April '15 when we filled our petition, she has been excellent by providing my husband and I with the correct information on what is required for us to be granted the visa.
It did not matter what time of the day it was, when we needed help or had questions with something she was always available and ready to assist.
The whole process was long but everything went smooth, the day of the interview our paperwork was in order and organized and the consular officer did not hesitate to grant me the visa because everything looked good.

I hired Ameet Habib several years ago when I was going through a divorce. Just recently I went through a custody battle with my ex over our teenage children and had Ameet represent me again. I am so thankful I did! He is so knowledgeable. He is honest, direct, yet still compassionate. Going through a custody battle was so emotionally straining, but Ameet was so great during this very stressful time. In court when I was weak he was my strength. I entered in a custody battle, asking for joint legal/physical custody, with no intentions of hiring a lawyer. I was lost, scared, and had no idea of what to do so I met with Mr. Habib for a consult. From the moment I met with him, he was very direct and to the point and I hired him. He never gave me false hope, did not lie, or hide anything. Mr. Habib would advise me of his professional opinion and then ask me what I wanted to do, so he did everything with what I wanted in mind. I am not very good speaking in court and I messed up with my words and he was able to fix my mess up. The GAL was against joint legal/physical custody and its very hard to convince the judge to rule against the GAL and Mr. Habib was able to persuade the judge that what I was asking for was in the best interest of my son. After trial, there was an appeal, before the appeal we were came to an agreement and part of that agreement was to withdrawal the appeal and when the other party did not follow through with their part of the agreement, Mr. Habib withdrew our part of the agreement in order to turn their hand to get them to follow through with their part of the agreement. Mr. Habib is a very intelligent lawyer and is very good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a custody lawyer. He does everything he says and goes far and beyond to get things done. In the end, I got what I asked for and what my child needed, joint legal/physical custody without either party paying child support. Thank you so much for helping me get through something that means so much and that was so hard and scary.

Attorney Shumaker is not only highly knowledgable and compassionate, but his years of experience leading employment law from the "inside" with a large corporation shows. His legal insight and strategy definitely helped me in settling my wrongful termination/hostile work environment case when other attorneys wanted to approach it from a different direction. I cannot possibly have enough amazing things to say about Simon Marle and his entire staff. It’s not only about the lawyer, but the support and staff behind it for me. I called Simon’s office one night, over a year ago in desperation of where to turn and what to do. If you are not a lawyer, and you are involved in any kind of legal case, things can be very overwhelming and knowing what steps to take can be tricky. I called around 6pm and Simon Marle, himself answered the front desk phone. I was very thrown off, because typically lawyer/attorneys will not handle those kinds of matters. He gave me a free consultation about 20-25 minutes on my case. Was VERY straightforward, honest, and to the point. I put my trust in him, and I have NOT been disappointed in any way. His staff, Taylor, Samantha, and Lisa truly care about the clients and really spend their time being personal with you. I love that they address me by name and not by “client”. Samantha has bent over backwards to contact other parties for me and you can tell she put’s her time into her job. She is always on top of it, super respectful and goes above and beyond. Not one time, have I been brushed off or felt like I was being annoying or I have been to well over 5-7 court hearings with Simon. Each time we have gone, it has been a complete satisfactory outcome IF not more. Simon has always been a very caring and honest man. It is really hard to find people now that do not take advantage, or who really just do not spend time with your case. He personally will pull out a file and go line by line with you and explain and questions, details you may have missed or anything you do not understand. I think for me, the best is that it runs as a family unit, and when you are dealing with family courts/judicial issues, having the same mindset in your company, reflects when the clients are in person. He is affordable and I am so very grateful that I decided to go with him. I recommend him to ANY and all my friends and family who ask for recommendations. Simon has had experience in this for decades, and you can tell because his presence in court is respected very much not only by the judges and the staff but also by the other attorneys. Anyone I have ever asked in regards to him, has had nothing but positive things to say. He will not let you be stepped on in court, and he puts time and effort into every case he has. I can see that he is passionate about his career and what he does for people. Simon has been a major influence and change in my families life and we will forever be thankful for him and his entire staff.

I couldn't believe what had just happened to me, I was accused of a felony for shoplifting. No matter how I tried to explain the situation,I was ridiculed and mocked. I felt helpless and scared then I had a free consultation with Simon. Talking to him was easy and I knew I wanted him on my side. I talked to my husband about the consultation and we wasted NO time hiring him.
A visit to his office to discuss my situation, he immediately found an error in the paperwork from the police. Simon was so on top of the case. He put me at ease.
We went to court and he didn't let any the store security get away with anything. I'm not sure we were even in front of the judge 15 minutes when my case was dismissed !! I hope I never have to go to court again but if I should. You better believe I will have Simon next to me. There aren't words to discribe my gratitude .

When we first walked into the offices of the firm for which Ms. Antle is an attorney, we thought we were two weeks away from closing the doors to our company. Debt was beyond overdue, we couldn't make the required minimum payments to vendors, and our financial institution had recently called our notes. Hope for a successful future in our family business was gone with no apparent alternatives in sight.
After a several hour consultation with Ms. Antle and her colleague, our thoughts changed dramatically. We began to see options rather than demands. Our vendors were suddenly willing to work with us. Many of our most crucial vendors began to set up plans that were agreed upon at mutually advantageous rates. Finally, a thorough and well orchestrated plan was constructed as to how we would navigate through a Chapter XI reorganization.
After almost two years of working together, our plan for reorganization was approved. The year that we were in a protected status was the most profitable we have had to date. We are taking in new orders from companies that we have never worked with before and are able to fund jobs with the creative ideas shared with us by their firm.
This is all due to the assistance, hard work, and dedication that Ms. Antle and Joseph Liberatore put forth to ensure a successful outcome to our case. Countless hours were spent in negotiations prior to filing as well as during the reorg status. They worked out interest rates that were far lower than anything we could have accomplished as well as developed terms that would allow us to continue our success post bankruptcy.
In addition to working with the creditors, vendors and financial institutions, Ms. Antle did a fabulous job managing us. Many deadlines exist in these types of cases and she was always there to help us meet those time constraints. She helped us through the litany of paperwork, filings, and related activities.
To summarize, the work that Ms. Antle did for us was and continues to be immeasurable. We couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend Ms. Antle and her firm to anyone in need of this type of legal work. As I wrote this review, an event, though seemingly small, was absolutely gigantic into the mindset we took through this long and arduous process. Our initial meeting took place on a Thursday afternoon. That Friday, Ms. Antle and Mr. Liberatore took time out of their schedule to call me on my cell phone long after business hours to see how I was holding up. Their compassion and caring for us as people, not clients or customers, was something that I took through the past two years. You would be hard pressed in this day and age to find that level of service anywhere else. For that, I am extremely grateful and am highly encouraged about the future of our thriving company that was once almost dead.

I was already divorced when I hired Erik. My ex-husband was taking me to court to stop my alimony and to change custody that we already agreed on for our son. I'm so thankful I found Erik because the first attorney I hired was not at all what I expected; I had to ask to speak in court because that attorney wasn't answering questions the judge was asking. Erik was and is completely opposite; he fought for my rights and didn't leave a stone unturned. I might have a little issue with wanting to talk in court but Erik was good at keeping me calm and having me let him do what he is good at and what I hired him to do. He was ready and when I was completely thrown off guard by my ex asking the judge for full custody Erik was on it. I may have racked up attorney fees due to my ex appealing the judges decision about the alimony and going to court in front of the judge in July because my ex wouldn't settle with what Erik was proposing before court but Erik was on it. We won and I am so thankful for him. Thank you Erik; you are a great attorney, someone I trust and consider not just my attorney. I can't tell you enough how thankful I am for you. The case was one where a family trust was questionably liquidated by the trustees to the exclusion of some of the beneficiaries. Earlier, another attorney had advised us that the harm to trust's excluded beneficiaries was not actionable and would probably result in the beneficiary plaintiffs being disinherited. Legal research by Ms Zizzo, Rack & Olansen's litigation attorney, resulted in a lawsuit that eliminated the risk of disinheritance and the case was settled out of court with the wronged beneficiaries receiving six figure settlements.

My husband was charged with a DUI, and Hit and Run. The case was potentially quite complicated and we had never needed a lawyer before so, not only was I nervous about the legal process, it was beyond unnerving to know that my husband's fate hinged on the skill of whomever I hired. I had very little time to search for the "perfect" attorney, but after interviewing quite a number of them, I ultimately hired Mr. Robusto to handle the a case. Mr. Robusto very quickly eased our fears and handled the case in a very professional and ethical manner and I feel that we received the best possible outcome; from start to finish, I never once questioned my decision to hire him. He was very personable and very patient with my legal questions concerning the case, yet he was also very straightforward, which was greatly appreciated! Hopefully this is the last time we will ever need a criminal attorney, but we will certainly be hiring Mr. Robusto again for any legal issues going forward!

I was convicted of assault and battery and I didn’t know which law firm to go with. I found Josue Casanova after I did a google search of criminal lawyers in my area. After speaking with him, I decided to hire him as my lawyer and it was the best decision I could have made. He met with me about 5 times in the span of two months for a significant amount of time and spent a lot of time on my case outside of our appointments. He was attentive, showed that he genuinely cared, and was very personable. He was able to settle outside of court on my behalf and get me what I wanted out of the case. He also didn’t try to get a ridiculous amount of money out of me like so many lawyers try to. Something really neat was that the head of the firm would occasionally join us during our appointments, which was awesome. I 100% recommend Josue Casanova. He is an amazing lawyer and person.

I had a big car accident in June 2018; I almost lost my life because of a careless driver that crushed my car to rush to the gas station. I suffered a lot from this accident, been through so many medications and treatment, mentally so stress, and financially been rough. With so many going on in my life, I didn’t have any more power and energy to deal with the person and insurance that responsible for all of these. (This case is almost 3 years; you can imagine how frustrated I am)

I contacted Ms Sampson after I was involved in a car crash resulting in personal injury. She reviewed my case, presented my options and vigorously fought the auto insurance company of the at fault driver. They tried to get me to settle for far less than I received, and Ms Sampson never gave in to their less than sufficient offers. I would recommend Ms Sampson to my family and friends and would call her again should I need legal assistance in the future.

Sandra Sampson was my defense lawyer for 3 Felony charges in the City of Norfolk. The charges had a combined maximum sentence 30 years in jail and up to $100k in fines. I contacted Ms. Sampson the day after my arrest and she immediately took up my case. She kept me informed through the processes and always presented all of my options, their consequences, and, if I asked her questions about the proceedings, she gave me informed answers. The entire process from arrest to outcome took only about two months, and as the title states I received a nolle prosequi (no contest) for each charge against me. Thanks to Ms. Sampson's efforts, I got the outcome I deserved and my good name isn't tarnished.

I've used Mr. Meekins' services for roughly 15 years and I couldn't recommend him highly enough! Having been in business for over 30 years with a staff of over 150 employees spread over four states, the range of legal services that I find myself involved in runs the full gamut from fairly insignificant to colossal, personal to corporate. I always turn to him first, despite working regularly with many other attorneys across many states. Being a woman in a man's world it's amazing how he listens and respects my opinion and knows when to push and when to back off. I've hired and fired many attorneys that wanted to tell me what to do rather than work with me and with Sam I always feel I have a partner in resolution. He's a fighter, and I love that, but he will always tell me when I need to stop fighting. I admire that he will be the first to admit if he doesn't know something (a rare treat as many attorneys I know just can't) and is always ready to seek and/or recommend one of his myriad of capable colleagues if it becomes necessary. I consider myself to be somewhat difficult and very opinionated. I am trying to be contemplative as I truly respect and appreciate the man’s abilities and I want this review to reflect that. I’ve never been asked for a reference or recommendation but I could talk for hours about the many, many cases he has helped me with and I can’t think of a single one that would end in a complaint about his legal ability or the counsel he has offered me. Sam is an excellent attorney, but also has excellent analytical skills and generally understands and promotes amicable resolutions. However, if that can not be achieved, he is tenacious in his preparedness and thoroughness of understanding the case. I spent almost a month trying to get my landlord to respond to my important request. I had a very tight deadline and the landlord would not respond. I reached out to Attorney Ra Hee Jeon and she was able to get the landlord to respond to her in less than 24 hours. When I had a personal injury claim against the State of Virginia, I found it difficult to find an attorney willing to take my case…too difficult to sue the State and most likely not enough money to bother with. Even more difficult was the fact I lived in the Midwest. But after a phone conference, Mr. Littel agreed to take my case even though we were up against the statute of limitations and he sent me a contract as well as guidelines for the legal procedure via Clio Connect, a web-based client portal. I was more than pleased to find that David Littel practiced with complete transparency and honesty. He always took my phone calls or answered my e-mails. I was very impressed with his attention to detail, finding questionable statements that could be challenged. It provided me an opportunity to give an explanation eliminating a possible vulnerability. He settled the case for more than anyone anticipated and stood by his agreement. Although there were minor charges he could have added to the final bill, he did not. I would highly recommend David Littel. This is an endorsement I have not been able to make for many attorneys I have dealt with.
