This organization doesn't care about workers or our rights.
I called about a workplace discrimination case and they had me detail my traumatic experience in great detail to a layperson. This person who had no legal background then forwarded the info to an attorney. The attorney swiftly looked at my case and said that though my experience at this racist & hostile workplace was "uncomfortable" & "unpleasant," that I had no recourse.
Luckily, I put no faith in the legal system here and know that there are other routes to seek justice. But what if I hadn't known that & took their word? This is why abuse and racism perpetuate, because citizens (particularly vulnerable ones) are to defer to "experts" who don't care for justice, only virtue signaling & getting paid.

RUN! (Read all): 10/2016: called this place after searching for weeks for my Federal Employment Harassment case against my employer. I read Ari's bio and it looked impressive stating something along the lines of the psychological effects on an employee of such issues. I called & gave a detailed summary of my situation. I was then set up for an appointment and was told to bring cash only at this time. I did. It was $300 for what was supposed to be ONE full hour. I arrived and I had to tell him again the whole situation in detail but it wasn't just him- he had three people in his office listening to me. I was emotional and cried about my situation- it was embarrassing that I was speaking to THREE people total. (Not the biggest deal here), Anyway, I gave all the necessary details to my case to Ari W. He pointed out that they don't often handle EEOC complaints- and pointed to his associate to "look over" my material because "she does more of that." I was baffled because I had explained over the phone that this was an EEOC issue. So already I felt like I was being ripped off of my money because he said he was experienced in the very specific attorney that I needed; however, he was not. After I had explained everything that I needed to explain that was in detail, I repeatedly have to ask him what his professional opinion was on my case and if there was anything strong that I had going on my side. He refused to answer, saying I needed to reschedule another appointment and bring in an actual timeline. After I had already spent approximately under 35 minutes giving him the exact timeline verbally. Was he not able to listen to me and give me his opinion then? Do people everywhere not have to listen to lecturers speak and then give answers when the teacher asks for an answer? He was not listening or he wanted to get more money off of me. He refused to give me what I told him I wanted the initial appointment to be about. When I called him I told him I needed his opinion on if I have a case. Then after the appointment, he left me with "well, type up a timeline, and let's reschedule" for an additional fee. I told him I was not happy about that. I told him that I explained I needed an answer and that this was what the appointment was about if he could remember from the phone call. He then proceeded to offer the next appointment review of the timeline "free." I never went back. Because like the other reviewer here, it was literally about how much I wanted to spend. And with this first appointment I felt like he was milking it. It was like $300 in cash just so that he could meet me, and then he intended to help me reschedule so that he could then make a decision however there's no guarantee he would have made a decision because he already showed himself to be dishonest with the first appointment. I firmly believe this is why they ask for cash. Because you can't dispute the charge on your credit card. Please run away if you're looking for an EEOC attorney. And take strong consideration on seeking other services. I would rate this is zero and report them to my credit card company to try to get a refund if I could (but, it's cash only!) (that's how they got me). I feel that using the Better Business Bureau to report this law firm might be an avenue I will consider.

I sought legal consultation with the Wilkenfeld Law Group at one of my most vulnerable times of my life. WLG responded to me in an efficient and professional manner. I truly felt like I was important to them and that they cared about my situation, unlike numerous contacts I made to other law offices. I would definitely refer my friends, family, and coworkers to WLG if they encounter employment issues that need legal consultation. While the firm is young, they are in no way inexperienced. They have had many successes as stated clearly on their website. WLG was willing to offer a very reasonable initial consultation fee and able to deal with the matter in the most cost effective way. They treated me like an important client even though my case seemed very small. I felt that I was fully respected. It is the first time in my life that I have to consult with an attorney, I was truly inspired by WLG's vibrant energy, the professionalism, and the willingness to help a minority woman and a new nurse in the work force like me. Mr. Wilkenfeld is very knowledgeable and experienced in non-competition agreements and I was able to understand after I meet with him.

They have the most obnoxious and irritating staff I have ever dealt with my whole life. Ashley sounds like she is moaning on the phone even at 10 AM when I'm trying to discuss a serious matter, I couldn't wait to hang up the phone with her. What is wrong with these people?

I first met Mr. Sawyer after he joined Ms. Pederson’s team when she agreed to take on my case after a truly malicious act by my former spouse jeopardized over 8 years of my work here as a physician.
Neil is very knowledgeable, his compassion and empathy are endless and he has always been very generous with his time.
I have called him multiple times over the past couple of years when I have had panic attacks regarding my case, and he has never turned me away or declined to speak with me. He truly has the patience and temperament of a saint when (figuratively) holding my hand during these episodes.
He has that rare mix of idealism, altruism and passion in young immigration attorneys that clients like me need and hope for in difficult times like these.
I would recommend Neil to anyone seeking excellent legal representation regarding immigration to the US. Of course I’m fortunate enough to have both Mr. Sawyer and Ms. Pederson on my side.

This Law Firm misleads people and charges much more than what they say they will. They will intentionally stay on the phone with you to increase your bill. This firm does not provide a quality service. The lawyers are not concerned with your issues, only about charging you what they think they can get away with. Look elsewhere--you will do better. They try to respond to questions that they do not have full knowledge of and still charge you for their "lack of knowledge." Biggest mistake I made was seeking their advice.

It was a pleasure to have Meredith handle my immigration needs! She was efficient, knowledgeable, excellent at communicating, and guided me throughout the process. It is rare to find attorneys that will go above and beyond to ensure that their client has everything they need.
Even after my matter was resolved and I was granted a TN, Meredith was quick to notice a mistake that took place every time I crossed the border, and she worked for months trying to resolve it with the CBP. I could not have asked for a better immigration attorney.

Absolutely the most emotionally traumatizing experience EVER!
I had the opportunity to work with Dan Clark. From the moment we started working together, I felt safe,like someone was on my side. I was living in building that was plagued with fires,Capitol Park Towers! My neighbor died and the coldness from the UIP staff and lack of empathy and concern for its residents was beyond I've ever seen. I stayed in a hotel for 5 months due to smoke damage and the living conditions not being safe! Mr. Clark suggested that "we" can countersue, "we" talked about negotiations for my rents that was in question etc. Mr. Clark appeared on my behalf for EVERY hearing. He got really silent 3-4 weeks before my trial. I finally had the opportunity to chat with him in-person and that's when he informed that, "he's not my lawyer, if he was, we would have been preparing for my case back in April, he would never take on a case like my, etc". in a very loud and callus tone! He made a point to share with me that he "never used the word we!"
I had to remind him that his tone was very unnecessary, rude and condescending. I went on to share how I felt taken advantage and misinformed. Not once after we met and engage did he remind me that he is "not my attorney" or he will not appear on my behalf during "trial".
Instead he recommended that I withhold monies from the court, he suggested that I go to trial! Programs like this needs to be defunded! It's not for the people. It's preys on those who are in need/guidance just to help the defendants cheat citizens out of rent-controlled building! Good luck and Godspeed!

Elgin forgot answers to questions about the case and asked them again within the same week, billing again for each separate time. He described another clients' personal details specifically enough that the clients was recognizeable. He also billed as legal services emails promoting additional work for his firm. He may indeed have the achievements in his past career that he is proud of and would justify a very high hourly rate, but he no longer had a grasp on professional responsibilities.

Dan listened to me, contacted third parties to get corroboration and wrote a letter to try and help me protect my young children from the indecency my ex was exposing them to with his relationship outside of marriage post divorce having the kids sleep under the same roof as him and his paramour. Unfortunately, we live in a society where nothing is shameless or indecent anymore so nothing changed. Still, I appreciate the efforts Dan made to help. He came highly recommended and did the best he could.

I went in for a consultation and considered hiring this lawyer. After two meetings, I decided he was not good for me. The 2nd time I met him was less than a month apart, however, this lawyer could not remember a single detail from the first time I consulted him. He watches the clock religiously and will not respond to email with content but a simple "Call me" to make sure you are charged for any time on the phone. He made it difficult even to refund the remaining retainer that was unused. I do not recommend and am happy he is off my divorce case.

Mr. Samuel did not analyze and comprehend the facts in my case to come to a logical and fair ruling. He appears to apply personal biases and emotions to come to his final rulings. He did not account for the intent of the parties when the agreement was made as well as made assumptions of what the document should have said (versus what it actually said) before making judgement. I would not recommend him for arbitration or for general counsel.

Mr. Baise is a double dealer looking for money and not the interests of me his client. While representing me he failed to disclose his firms lobbying activities on behalf of a groups whose interests conflicted with mine. My interests were undermined by Mr. Baise and his firm. The firm Baise & Miller failed to access documents related to my case in the possession of another DC attorney which would have led to reopening an old case. In fact, Mr. Baise and his firm assisted the defendant in the old case in concealing the documents held by this attorney and limiting our access to the materials. It has taken years to locate and act with respect to these hidden documents. We have asked counsel to consider actions against Mr. Baise, his firm and legal associates. Mr. Baise cannot be trusted as his own personal political aspirations colored his representation in our case leaving us without effective representation. Avoid this man as he will sell you short too!!!

I cannot recommend Mr. Baise, but I can without reservation caution you about his conduct. I was a client of Baise & Miller. They were litigating on my behalf. The firm failed to collect documents despite a court order against the holder of the materials. I fired Baise & Miller after which Mr. Baise tortured me by withhold access to documents and pleadings associated with my case. To date Mr. Baise has continuously refused to provide me and my counsel with documents held by Baise & Miller. It has cost me tens of thousands of dollars to undo what Baise & Miller did. I cannot recommend Mr. Baise. I can urge any person looking for representation to not look to Mr. Baise.

Mr. Baise failed to disclose a significant set of clonflicts of interest to us. Yet he continued representing us while actually undermining our claims. He also charged us for representations that were make be an unsupervised associate. The representation has set us back years and was very disruptive to the course of our litigation.

I would never recommend this attorney. Last year while expecting our first child we tried to hire his services to create a Trust. He took a flat fee for creating a document (an online version for free can be found) he didn't send the document on time, and awfully copy-pasted information, misspelled names in the document, and wrong dates. He tried to schedule a final meeting for him to get more money expecting that we didn't even review the document. His communication is horrible and his office was a shared office space definitely not in Charles Street.

Avoid her services at all costs. I had to meet with the auditor masters office to get an attorney assigned to assist in property recovery.
She missed the first meeting with the DC auditor masters office.
She was late to a priivate meeting with me after the first missed meeting. After 4 months there was no progress and she missed the next meeting in which she said she had paperwork for me to sign.
I got another lawyer to try to resolve the issue and she has ignored him as well. She is very unprofessional and unresponsive.,
