I want to share my gratitude for the outstanding work that Charles and Melissa did for my client whose house was in foreclosure and was about to be sold at the public auction. The situation with my client's property was very tough - his property in Queens, NY was underwater, and the bank didn't want to entertain any short payoff offers. However, Charles and Melissa put together and executed a compelling strategy involving the bankruptcy sale, which forced the mortgage bank to return to the negotiation table and allowed the client to sell the property on his terms. Charle's and Melissa's expertise in the complicated world of bankruptcy is undeniably strong; I will recommend their services to any homeowner whose house is in foreclosure and who requires similar legal representation.

Attorney Kelly was AMAZING! My Mom had passed away, and we are located in CT. Very unfamiliar with NY LAW, we needed to make sure we had the right legal advice dealing with the transfer of REAL property. Attorney Kelly got the job done, in a timely manner, and executed all parts of the transaction flawlessly. He will be handling all my NY legal matters for me and family in the future. Call him today for all your legal needs that he may service!

I was recommended to him by another firm, which he immediately criticized. He looked at my injury and saw the damage , and said he had a knowledgeable Dr. that could help us through the process.I went to his Dr. who wanted to treat me but did not want to testify against another Dr..At the time of my deposition he sent a fellow attny who was not at all familiar with my case. At one point Joe told me the Dr who injured me seemed like a nice guy, who was just trying to help me. But he would go to court if I would like but felt accepting an offer out of court before trial would be a better option. I was young and trusted him,. I received a paltry sum for my injury ,and have gone through life in constant pain. Always regretting I trusted him as I felt he was just out to make the quickest amount possible with the least amount of effort.

How do I report my former lawyer to the Bar? He already has been Centured.... probably looked at that as a merit badge. I am a true victum of medical mal., I was obviously unknowingly practiced on for dollars. Have all the backup to all claims. Back to, I was scared to death of "my"s attorney for good reason, he lied about his background, laughed when I cried, and I am so not a cryer. I was having, still have symtoms of stroke, anyersyms, granulomas, that is what is finally being admitted to by the FDA, blinding and stroke. I saved my entire life for the rainy day, spent some, saved some, their isn't a surgeon on the planet who can fix. Not a Specialist with a magic bullet pill. Brain damaged, disfigured, close to toothless (infection); chronic facial nerve pain. The surgeon who did this to me, well, the drug co. made him a Trainer "after" of course, 1/2 million a year plus. The judge asked me, did you5 lawyer explain what you are signing, (my rights away for basically medical bills, but in court "my" lawyer, he would have been clueless) I was so afraid of this gorilla type, I said yes to the Judge. There Isn't a second I am not in pain, disfigured, constant inflammation, infections. I lost my good life, my savings, my ability to take care of myself. Any suggestions. Aside from jump. Sort of like stepping out on the curb and not seeing the bus coming but the trauma is repeated every second or every waking moment.

I contacted Joseph J. Brophy in hopes of pursuing a psychiatric medical malpractice case. He told me immediately on answering the phone that he isn't currently taking clients, but despite this *still* offered to speak with me about my case so that he might offer feedback concerning my odds in court, other potential attorneys, etc. Mr. Brophy –– or "Joe," an address of familiarity and a complete lack of pretension –– proceeded to talk me through the specifics of my case for nearly twenty minutes, conveying both immense sympathy for my experience while also being very blunt about the difficulties I would face in proving lasting damages. He provided a very accessible outline of the way contingency cases work in the area of medical malpractice, and explained the limited types of psychiatric case likely to be taken on by a reputable attorney. He ultimately said he would not refer me to anyone, as he believed the case would prove too difficult, but was very humble in saying that he might be wrong, and encouraged me to keep looking if I feel I can, or must, meet the bar for a compelling case. I finished the call with the knowledge that I likely do not have a case –– and yet I *still* felt compelled to look up a forum online where I could sing his praises. Mr. Brophy is an extremely kind, empathetic, and *smart* attorney who seems genuinely invested in helping others, to the point of providing unpaid educative labor to a rather clueless caller. Even given my disappointment with his conclusions, he still somehow left me feeling empowered by my new (albeit limited) understanding of this area of law. If Mr. Brophy is this generous with individuals he knows he *won't* be representing, I can only imagine what it must be like to have him as one's attorney. 17 stars.

Dear Georgia, Thank you for everything! It took me several hours last night to get over the unexpected strong emotions I was feeling from the events of the trial today. You and your staff have spent hours, days and weeks doing the most thorough job in preparation for my trial, including all those heavy file boxes you methodically carried back and forth to court. You were superb! You walked into a situation where several meetings with the judge, my ex-husband's attorney and my prior attorney had already taken place. You fought full-force against a judge who believed my ex-husband was ill, penniless and not capable of earning money. When you examined my former husband on the stand, much to my ex-husband’s dismay, you were able to prove, based on a report from his doctor, that he was no longer ill nor incapacitated as a result of his illness. You were also able to prove he was far from penniless, and had, in fact, spent lavishly on apartment renovations, his dogs, restaurants, travel and other luxuries. You were able to prove he had just received a substantial payment from one of the companies with which he is actively involved. You thus proved he had the means to pay me the court-ordered alimony on which he had been in default of for over two and a half years. Georgia, you turned a judge slanted to the other side into seeing the true situation. As you know, I have had other attorneys in my lifetime, but never have I had one who did the magnificent job you have done and never have I had an attorney or known a person who is as compassionate and as fine a human being as you. I feel so lucky you came into my life and I honestly cannot imagine what would have happened to me without you. With much gratitude and, yes, love, Marjorie

After my husband and I went to a mediator for a separation agreement, a lawyer friend insisted that I go to Georgia Kramer, and ONLY Georgia Kramer, before I signed it. Am I glad I did! I cannot imagine what my post-marriage life would be like had I not had Georgia as my advocate and divorce attorney. At Georgia's suggestion, I faxed the agreement to her, and when I arrived for our first meeting she was fully prepared to help. Her calm and personable manner alleviated much of my anxiety, and her suggestions and advice inspired great confidence in her ability to manage my case. She wasted no time . After asking specifically about my needs and concerns for my future, she took out her notes on the already studied document, and began editing it to eliminate vague and ambiguous language that could present problems for me in the future, while clearly explaining the ramifications of these changes. Her amazing patience and her ability to help me understand the implications of what was done illustrated to me how knowledgeable, how experienced and how committed she is to her clients. She clearly understands the difficult situation that divorce presents, and she went out of her way both personally and professionally to represent my interests. I also noticed her professionalism during meetings with my soon to be ex and his lawyer. While she acted respectfully toward my husband and his attorney, she was also quite assertive, and exhibited a strong, no-nonsense approach while arguing for the best outcome for me, her client. It was clear to me that my husband's lawyer knew of and had great respect for Georgia. Because of all this, my settlement was more than I ever could have hoped for. It meets far more than my needs and concerns. Despite Georgia's extensive experience, her deep knowledge of divorce law and her obvious expertise in tax law, she constantly explained to me clearly what she was doing on my behalf, and how it would affect me. Georgia never talked down to me. She always included me in the process. And still, there was always time for a smile and a pat on the back from her. I am so grateful to her .

Highly recommended by a client of mine. Met a year prior to the commencement. Unfortunate circumstances led to another attorney in the firm a year later. Rejoined my case late in the proceeding's. She was instrumental in helping close & move towards settlement. Unfortunate circumstances beyond our control made this case a very costly one. In the end I was grateful to her years of experience & decision making. Highly recommend her wisdom from start to finish!

We recently hired Mr. John Manning and his office to represent us in our home sale. We also gave him the power to sign on our bahalf at closing (as we were out of the country) and deposit our sale proceeds. We worked with two people from his office, primarily, who kept us informed on the closing process, reviewed the documents on a regular basis and answered any questions we had. It was a very positive and professional experience and I would recommend the firm and staff.

Pat updated our wills, living wills, health proxies and created a trust for my wife and myself. She is easily accessible by phone or email, but we recommend a face to face meeting with her to accomplish the best results for your particular needs. Her fees are extremely reasonable for the work and knowledge she brings to the table. If you are searching for a professional advocate in the area of law, Pat should be your first phone call. I felt compelled to write a review based upon my experience with Mr. Saline. It was a tough decision as far as an attorney to use for my case. I had thought about using another attorney, who I understand would be his "competition" in White Plains, but had heard mixed reviews about the other attorney. Very few times I leave a review over a specific individual or business. But this man has by far made too many mistakes in representing my husband. Not only does he schedule him for appointments and either he’s never there or “still at court” but catching him at all even on the phone is a huge problem. My husband needs him to file some things with Westchester family court since NOVEMBER and we are now in June and Mr. Buntings best answer is “you have to see my desk I have cases and cases but I will move you to the top” and that’s been the excuse for months. Due to this my family is now suffering even bigger consequences because it looks like we are the negligent party instead of him just filing from the start with the court in a fashionable order time. Please don’t use this man. “He’s too busy” and will never make time for you or your needs

I was referred to BriAnne Copp through a coworker. Before my family custody court session, BriAnne negotiated a deal with the opposing attorney to lower my child support payments. While in court, the opposing attorney actually interrupted the session to state the terms of the deal which can be read in the transcript. Since I'm not an attorney I don't know any other way of putting it: Brianne Copp really really screwed up! Somehow, mom got her end of the deal BriAnne Copp negotiated but I never got my CS lowered. This will be costing me a minimum of $100,000. That's a whole hell of a lot of money for some one who makes about $60/hr. This is only where this disaster started. First, she lied to me telling me the deal wasn't done because there was some paperwork she couldn't find. About 7 months later I found it in one of her own emails. That was LIE #1 that I'm aware of.Jumping ahead, I had a 3-way with her and the co-worker who introduced us. During this call I found out that BriAnne Copp told him I "INSISTED" on representing myself (for a related court session which I thought was just a formality). This was LIE #2 that I'm aware of. The truth is I "ASKED" BriAnne if I could represent myself. I'm guessing she gave me this advice in order to distance herself from my case and her screw up. Otherwise, why would anyone recommend I represent myself in that specific situation. Her 3rd LIE that I'm aware of was telling the co-worker she "hadn't heard from me in a long time." The truth is, I emailed her twice about 6 weeks prior to which she never replied. This is tough for me to write. I'm not a malicious person nor do I generally wish ill will on any one, but when you royally screw up, lie to cover up your mistake and conspire with your co-worker which screws someone out over $100,000 then something has to be said. Something has to be done about it. I tried being appropriate by calling the co-worker to discuss her screw up but apparently they were ready for me and played the 'lie, deny and twist the facts' game.Unfortunately, all I can do now is write this review in hopes of warning any unsuspecting potential clients. That $100,000 was going into a 529 college tuition plan but that idea is gone. She basically got away with it. No recourse for her. Nothing.I almost forgot to mention this part...after her screw up, she was billing me for trying to fix her screw up.In short (too late), if you're thinking about hiring a family attorney, I wouldn't hire BriAnne Copp.

Well throughout my legal life I have dealt with a very many of high quality more than capable attorneys.Unfortunately due to my rollercoaster budget a large number of them were appointed to me by a bias court free of charge.Always amounting to a lot more than free,if you know what I mean. However being represented by a great lawyer like the Bronx born J.Deguardia was like a different felling, like the most important issue was getting the real justice I genuinely deserved, and being part of a confident more intellectual winning team. With a fair and just ruling for in my favor is an a amazing felling.I would recommend his expertise in the courtroom,or frankly any room or ring no pun intended to anyone looking for a clean and fair fight at court.Ok or ring for this hard straight up boogle down native. Some say I need a Jonny Cochrane for my case,I say give me Joe.

If I were giving a grade in a class it would be an D-. This attorney represented me. This attorneys passive attitude allowed for scores of documents and facts to be misconstrued and incorrectly presented and represented leading up to and during case. Costs into the tens of thousands (most without client knowledge or approval - costs that were expected to be paid by client) were misrepresented by multiple attorneys in this firm. Decisions were made for and about client without client knowledge, consult or approval. Firm fails to disclose critical information, and does not seem to care how it effects the clients they are hired to serve. No attention to detail, terrible communication. Experience with this lawyers was more like a secretary collecting data than an attorney hired to do what is right for the client. The only positive thing to say about personal experience with this particular attorney is that he is pleasant and seems to be kind. More-so than most of the other employees experienced at this firm. I do not in an way shape matter or form recommend this firm at all.

On Dec. 26 2012, I was struck by a F250 with a snowplow attachment and salt spreader, while crossing the road on my way to my friends house. According to the police report, I was thrown 60 feet and landed in a snow bank. This accident placed me in Westchester Medical Center ICU, and I spent the next 11 days waiting for, and undergoing major reconstructive surgery to my left hip and pelvis. While in the hospital(under heavy painkillers) I signed on a lawyer to handle my case. After months of physical therapy, I was finally able to get around the house with the help of crutches. After my deposition, my lawyer informed me that I had little to no chance of winning my suit. My lawyer suggested that I accept the insurance offer of $15,000. At this point I immediately started looking for a different lawyer. I had heard very good things about the local firm Fienkelstein and Partners, so I decided to consult with them. They where extremely helpful and willing to take on my "hard" case. The firm placed my case in the more than capable hands of a fairly new "up and coming lawyer" Nicholas Maiorano. This wonderful man took the time to get to know me, and my case, very well. Nick told me it was going to be tough, but he would give it everything he had in him. After a few meetings, and low-ball offers from the insurance agencies attorney, we went to court before a jury. Nick told me to be patient and that this was going to be "all or nothing". After the jury heard the case and deliberated for a long time, they came back into the court room with a verdict. Instead of the $15,000 dollar offer(that my original lawyer stressed that I take) the jury came out and awarded me $600,000! What a miracle! If I ever find myself misfortunate enough to again need legal representation due to an accident, I will not hesitate to call Finkelstein &Partners' Super Lawyer Nicholas Maiorano! Thank you, Nick, from the bottom of my heart! My life is forever changed because of you. :) Bless you. I wish you and your firm the very best of wishes! Good luck man! And keep being Super!

Lawyers like this one associate themselves with agencies like Family Kind, a 'non profit' organization used by the courts that bills itself as 'helping families'. The agency itself may be a NFP, but Family Kind professionals like Ms. Jonas make plenty of money billing clients who in many case are strong armed by the courts and their own lawyers to use their various pricey services. Their own marketing materials show them smiling alongside photos of judges and other lawyers in the system, a lucrative cycle of referrals that seems to benefit these players the most, with questionable effectiveness for the families involved. They tell themselves they are 'helping families' who are 'high conflict' but in many cases, they are only enabling post separation abuse, at a high financial cost to protective parents.

I spoke with Emily extensivley and mediation seems like a much better option than a regular divorce. Cheaper, faster and more importantly less emotionally difficult. She has so much experience and clearly cares about helping people get the best outcomes.

My husband and I have relied upon Wayne's expert legal help as he represented us in three separate real estate transactions over ten years. He's top-notch! He takes time to explain contracts well, he's patient, and he answers all of our questions in a timely manner. Because of his thoughtful intervention a few times, he improved the terms of the deals we've done to our benefit. In other words, he takes an pro-active and protective approach to his clients, like the best lawyers do. I would highly recommend Wayne Spector to my friends and family. In fact, I have!

We hired Mr. Spector in March of 2016 . My fiancé and I were told he would be able to help us with the issues we stated. It involved the rights of a father giving substantial child support for 18 years. We needed to know our responsibilities regarding a child moving out of state to attend college that was twice the amount of a SUNY Cooke he without the discussion between the two parents (which was agreed upon in their divorce pspers) The large sum of the college tuition exceeded what was affordable and feasible. We also questioned that once the ex-wife received her share of a pension (that she chose to finally take after almost 11 years, her choice) would the child support be lowered since my fiancées salary would decrease by almost $20,000. Me Spector took a $3000 binder and said he would go over the paperwork and contact us. To make a very long story short, after almost 8 1/2 months and absolutely no bills/correspondences,2 phone calls from him(due to our constant correspondence during that duration of time pleading with him to help us with situations that kept arising with no avail, only false promises. Calls, letters via emails and text messsges. Nothing was done. Nothing. Finally after dismissing him via letters and texts he responded telling us he had some issues going on and he would help us snd for us to reconsider and use his services. We agreed, and low and behold, nothing.. we contacted him again and told him he didn't keep his word and we wanted paperwork and bills from him since he told us things he did and was still doing. The only thing Nr Dpector did during the 8 1/2 months was get a tax sheet from the ex which seemed ludicrous. Long story short Mr Spector told us his fee was half of the large retainer we gave him and sadly never gave us one bill of his "services". Nothing. We received a check after about one month without any explanation or breakdown of services. Sadly the initial contract said any and every correspondence he did would have also been cc'd to us as well. Was not so. Very disappointed. Very disillusioned. We are now without a large sum of monies, without an attorney, have a court date out of state and will be handling on our own. Thank you
