I can not say enough about the impact Pamela has had on our family. We are foster parents who wanted very badly to adopt the little girl we have been fostering for nearly two years. Despite being the only family she has known, DCFS was determined to place her with distant relatives with whom our daughter had never met. We had navigated the system as best we could but it was clear we needed a professional to advocate on our family’s behalf.
Pamela came highly recommended and with good reason. From our first conversation she put us at ease with her frankness and obvious knowledge of her craft. Mind you, this was all happening during the pandemic so we still to this date have not had the opportunity to meet her in person. Nonetheless, she instilled confidence, gave us peace of mind, and patiently guided us through every step of the process. She gave us hope when hope was due and managed our expectations when appropriate.
All of that said, it is Pamela’s knowledge of the law, understanding of the children’s court system, and skill as a jurist that made her a truly exceptional choice for our family law needs. I hired Ms. Tripp and she rarely communicates, and went into court, made an agreement without my consent. Then, at a later court date that I was unaware of, she emails me at midnight the day of court indicating we have court - but provides no zoom call in numbers, or phone numbers, so I cannot be a part of the hearing. Case closes without me.

I was David vs Goliath. My ex had a powerful family and stacked the deck against me, and I thought I would never get to have my son. My ex and her family had done everything they could to keep me and my son seperated. I had nobody to help me. Maria was able to prepare me and guide me through the scariest part of the legal system; and without her I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THROUGH IT. Mrs. Mendez helped our family obtain full custody and finalize our step-parent adoption. Mrs. Mendez was there for us every step of the way. Mrs. Mendez took the case when my daughter was born, helped me obtain DNA, visiting rights, we build a case against my ex and with time we were able to obtain full custody, terminate her rights, and finalize the step-parent adoption. Mrs. Mendez is straight forward and was always present at every court hearing. Mrs. Mendez kept us informed through the whole process by phone calls, meetings, emails, and was able to answer all of our questions. We will continue to use Mrs. Mendez services in case we have any issues in the future.

I was caught totally by surprise with my divorce. I met Mrs. Mendez on recommendation from another attorney's secretary & I wondered why! I soon found out why she was so highly recommended to me.
My ex was financially backed by her wealthy family and there high priced attorney. Mrs. Mendez immediately secured my rights and put my divorce on a level playing field. Mrs. Mendez has her own office which I appreciated because she gives full attention to her cases, not other attorney's cases as was the situation I had to deal with at another firm!
Mrs. Mendez litigated a fair settlement for me in the divorce. She fought hard to make sure that I was awarded almost 50% custody of my 2 children and she went back to court for me to have my child support reduced to a very reasonable amount! If anything ever occurs with my ex in the future, I'm going right back to Mrs. Mendez.

We used Pickford Law to create a living trust. The process was explained at the initial meeting. This included pricing, answering quesitons about the process, and suggestions. There was email communication between the initial visit and the signing of the final copy. While I believe our trust was farily routine for their law office, I left very satisfied. I also thought the price was very fair. I would recommend Pickford Law to any of my friends or family.

I came across Parwana's profile through a Google Search. I went through a list of at least 10 other attorney's and called each one of them. Many of those lawyers I spoke with sounded like they knew what they were doing and had a lot of experience. But Parwana's thorough explanation about the entire process, the details she provided, her knowledge and experience stood out right away. I definitely felt more comfortable to give my case to someone like Parwana who cared, had confidence, and fully elaborated all options and scenarios regarding my case. Good at keeping in touch on next steps. The fee was reasonable too (I compared elsewhere). Seems like the process went pretty quick. Wow! I’m not sure where to begin! I had the pleasure of spending two years with Candace Jones as my attorney in a Family law matter. This Attorney is extremely professional, informative, a beast in the courtroom, and a great person overall. I’m thankful that God led me to find her on Google. Best of all she is local! Great for men or women in need of an attorney. I am someone that appreciates Google reviews, but I also understand everyone doesn’t value the same wonderful qualities that Candace Jones brings to the table as an attorney and in general as a person. So, when making your decision while looking for an attorney, consider that everyone is not honest in their online reviews when it comes to the negative ones. However, I can tell you from my actual experience that she takes the time to fully understand the details of your case. She will do what she needs to do, and be where she needs to be, and handle what she needs to handle, as far as what was contractually agreed-upon. We made a consultation appointment paid 100$. We start off with him constantly burping and slurring his words. Something felt off when he kept asking the same questions. He wouldn’t write notes of anything we would tell him then would ask us the same question we just answered literally seconds ago. We ended up walking out. We got frustrated that he was not listening to any information we were giving him. This is the worst especially when you come for help and you get someone who does the opposite

I retained Maxine Ho as my attorney for a period of time between 2019 and 2020. Due to early mistakes on my part, my divorce case had turned complex and was challenging for just about any attorney to turn around. I was fortunate to have Maxine consider representing me given the circumstance.
Maxine is a great attorney who is efficient, polite, honest and responds in a timely manner. She has the ability to apply aggression if and when necessary, and she also stands her ground if and when in disagreement with her client, with good intention and in good faith - in saying so, I can highly recommend her.
I have not come across decent attorneys even after an extensive search over a period of 4 years; however, I can say that Maxine is one of the few good ones.
Unfortunately, I was forced to part ways with Maxine - nothing to do with her service but due to my financial limitations alone. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for her legal advice, time, and efforts representing me.
If you are looking for an attorney and haven't made detrimental mistakes thus far, you should consider Maxine. And, even if your case is complex, consider a consultation - she will at the very least guide you correctly to ensure the best possible outcome.

I would never recommend anyone to use Emily as their attorney. I hired her many many years ago to represent me for my child custody/ support case and she did nothing to help me. I did all the leg work by providing her all my documents, going to the court to retrieve old documents from previous cases with the father of my children. The day of court she showed up with no paperwork, good thing I was prepared and had a copy of the whole case with me that she used. After months of not hearing from her with an update she informed me the judge threw out my case due to the other parent having outstanding violations and that I could pay the tickets myself to live forward which turned out to be a lie years later. I went to the court to try to proceed with the case on my own and the staff thought I was crazy and advised me to fire my attorney because they hard record she showed up to court on an unknown date and represented me and the judge did actually grant me full custody and child support which I did not know about for years. When I asked for the final documents they informed me the child support will not be valid since the attorney filed the order after hearing incorrectly and left off the child support but it was mentioned in the minute order. Per the court staff I would have to refill all the paperwork and serve the other parent again and go before a judge. It’s impossible for me to serve the other parent as he is in jail far away and financially I do not have the funds nor time to do this as this has been a case going since about 2013. Do not waste your time or money because you will be left doing the attorney work on your own.

My experience with Mrs Quinn has been amazing, I hired her and it has been the best decision I could of made. I was nervous going through this process, but she made me feel confident and eased my nerves. She doesn’t take her job lightly and it shows. I knew I was in good hands when during our first court appearance 4 people came up to her and addressed her by her name and were like hi mrs Quin so and so hired you and you’re great just wanted to say hi. I know it’s the sheriffs jobs to remember the attorneys but even he addressed her by her name. It was respect well earned! Without getting into details of our case I will say she knows the law! And I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t know what they are doing, who does know what they are doing and just anyone in need of representation. She was recommended to me by my brother in law who hired her and I recommend her too! She is the best at what she does! 10/10.

This so called attorney loves to boost about her 50+ years as an attorney, she may have been at one time but she is nowhere close at being a good attorney, she didn't listen to me about the documents that my ex never supplied and never filed with the courts to get him to produce them either even after multiple times of letting her know. She would sit there in court like a deer with headlights on her, just sat there looking dumb and not asking my ex about anything I brought up and even told the other attorney what I told her in confidence and told her not to bring it up until I was able to get it taken care of and give her the evidence, 3 days later when we showed up in court she sees them in the hallway and she goes over and tells them what I told her not too.
All she did was run the bill up to 3 to 4 times of what it should of been.
This so called attorney needs to step down and give it up.

I had been struggling with my divorce for several years until Lilah stepped in. Lilah immediately put me at ease because I knew I was in the hands of a pro. I hired this attorney from a well-known law firm in San Francisco at the recommendation of a new friend. I was newly separated at a vulnerable time in my life. Lilah seemed confident and well spoken. However, she filed my case incorrectly with the court (which now has to be fixed), her firm over-billed, she did not provide any strategy or direction for my case (I came up with most of the strategy from the advice of friends) and she raised her voice to me several times, and was kinder to opposing counsel than she was to me -- and now I see why. She was looking for another job while her own firm dissolved. Beware this attorney. At the very least, she lacks the experience to handle a complicated family law case. Hire a certified family law specialist instead.

I went through a very horrible divorce, and an extremely difficult child custody battle. Robin would always listen to all of my concerns, and addressed them as best as she could. She was very sympathetic to the pain the difficulties put me through. She would always make sure that I had answers to all of my questions in a timely manner. She never lied to me or try to sugar coat anything. She would just let me know the plain, and sometimes very hard, truths. She very patiently walked me through the whole long process. Lindsey was- from start to finish- such a relief and support to my during custody mediation last year. From the very first consultation, she was honest with me about the likely steps in the process and even provided me an accurate timeline for how long it would take to resolve my custody issue.
She has a direct, calm, measured demeanor and seems unflappable. This is exactly what you want from a lawyer during one of the most stressful things you can go through. She level-set my expectations while also providing me with an ear to listen as needed, via email, zoom, or phone call (these are scheduled as part of the process but when mediation did not go as planned, she debriefed with me and helped me understand what was to come.
My case was a long-distance custody situation: my son and I have lived outside of stanislaus county for years and that makes filing paperwork, paying fees etc, more difficult. Her office handled this for me.
