Michael Simmrin was fantastic. Family member was put on a 5150 hold and sent to a terrible mental hospital in the Northern California area. They wanted to extend my sister to a 5250 without a real reason. They denied her, her ROI and basically treated her subhuman. Michael began working almost immediately and did everything he could to protect my sisters rights and get her out ASAP. She was out in just a few days. We traded numbers and I was able to reach him fast. Truly worth every penny!

Raffi Ohanian deserves more than five stars for pursuing to obtain me the best settlement for my car accident! It took over a year to settle, as the other driver's lawyer ignored all of Mr. Ohanian's daily contacts, until that lawyer finally answered!!
Mr. Ohanian consistently kept me updated on my case, and made himself available whenever I needed to speak to him. He was compassionate and supportive in working with me, as I was seriously injured in this car incident, and still have not fully recovered.

Injury due to vehicular accident. I sustained an injury during a head-on collision on Nov 6 last year and I was taken to the ER for some minor treatments and checks. During the first few days thereafter, I’d called a few injury attorneys, but none wanted to take up my case due to the nature of the accident. I had a terrible car accident in January 2022. While stopped at a red light, my car was torpedoed by a car, that was rear ended by a speeding jack knifed 18 wheeler. Not only was my cars undercarriage obliterated, but I sustained unbearable nerve damage. In despair and in constant pain, I needed help. With all the personal injury attorneys that advertise via television commercials, it was hard to determine who could help me best. I was referred to Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell by a family friend. Best referral ever. I felt comfortable because of the good review from that family friend, and on top of that, they were close to my home base in the Pasadena area.
My case took many unforeseen twists and turns. My Attorney, Michael O’Connor, was able to help me navigate through them all. Mr Hammonds is very polite and respectful. He explains everything easily and is just wonderful. Definitely well worth the money. If you need a top notch attorney this is your guy! Straight foward and doesn't sugar coat. His office manager Amber is wonderful also. She sets the tone for the office, very helpful and quick to respond. They handled my son's case with much kindness and professionalism. Even with Mr Hammonds out of town our case was still handled quickly and efficiently. I just can't say enough good about this office. You won't be disappointed! End result on one charge was a plea deal and when DA decided to try some double jeopardy stuff Rob and Amber where on it quick and of course case was dismissed! It's never easy getting a divorce. I can say it was the most stressful event I have gone through. However, having Kristen in my corner helped to minimize my stress level. I knew she was looking out for my best interest. She was very knowledgeable about the law. When my Ex's attorney tried to pull some funny business, she nixed it immediately.
Kristen was always available. She was able to see me when I needed to consult with her in person. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly. Nothing worst than a non responsive attorney. The entire office staff was very courteous and professional.

Wade Law Group’s handling of my business partnership dispute was a disaster from start to finish. I sought their help when I was being pushed out and needed to recover my equity. Despite providing all the necessary documentation upfront, including the operating agreement and financial statements, their incompetence quickly became apparent.
For seven weeks, my attorney at Wade Law Group engaged in fruitless exchanges, sending threatening letters based on California law and drafting a lawsuit complaint. Only after all this time did I discover that my attorney hadn’t even read the operating agreement—a crucial document in any partnership dispute. This neglect led us to almost violate the agreement by bypassing mandatory mediation and filing the lawsuit in the wrong state. Predictably, my former business partner exploited these errors, leaving me with a much weakened case and a significant financial loss.
After incurring over five figures in legal fees, I made the decision to terminate our relationship. I requested a meeting to discuss the situation, but my attorney not only ignored my request but also responded rudely when I followed up. Eventually, the firm’s owner reached out and offered a partial refund for drafting the complaint in the wrong state. However, the amount he offered was far less than what I had actually been billed, forcing me to go line by line through the invoices and finding the correct amount was five times higher than what he claimed.
I then posted a review of my experience on Yelp, and the owner reached out and offered me a full refund of over $8K in exchange for removing the review and signing a contract agreeing not to post additional reviews about my experience with the firm. When I pointed out that this felt unethical and possibly illegal and proposed that I edit the review to give credit for the refund, he withdrew the offer, falsely claiming that I had rejected it.

These people are rude. And they can't read. I set up a consultation with them, but they canceled before even talking to me and told me that my trial is in three weeks when it's not. They didn't read anything about it, have the nerve to not even meet with me or have a discussion, followed with "best of luck on everything" which is just more insulting, absolutely insulting. i am sorry I called.

My husband and I called the law offices of David Chesney at his first court date they were super kind over the phone explained everything to us took our payment over the phone partial and let us make payments as the case was going forward any questions that we had we were answered promptly. They even called us and did a follow-up a few months later to see how we were doing. I hope I don't ever have to use them again, but if for some reason we do definitely will. will also recommend them to family and friends if needed

We hired Hirabayashi from a referral list given to us by DCFS. We had 3 adoptions that needed to be processed sooner than later so we opted to pay rather than wait for the “free one”. We sent off a check 2/17/23 and it was cashed 2 weeks later. He asked us for dates of availability for the next few months just in case so that he can schedule an adoption date but that it shouldn’t take too long. It was almost 3 months later that his office submitted the first form. We were told they were waiting on DCFS. Long story short, another few weeks go by and we found out they made an error on paperwork and they were resubmitting it. After that it we had to push to get an adoption date sooner than later. Paid the attorney in early February and adoption finalized last day of July due to errors on lawyers end. They first told us that they submitted the forms then they said they were going to submit the forms next week. Never got a straight answer from his secretary Nancy. Just a bunch of runaround. That’s when anyone answered the phone or even replied to an email.
After all said and done we look for a receipt or invoice stating what was paid and for what because my employer pays for all legal fees specific to adoption and we find that the “Adoption Expenses” form submitted to the court shows we haven’t paid yet which was filed nearly 3 months after we paid him. We ask for a receipt 3 times, 2 emails and one phone call, and on the third we get a copy of the original bill that says what we owe. Then Hirabayashi states, “Isn’t that the same thing?” Back and forth about him basically refusing to acknowledge he knows what I’m asking for. A simple receipt or invoice showing paid or better yet, be professional and supply an itemized invoice maybe.
Horrible experience from beginning to end. Wood not recommend. I truly believe he takes advantage of the fact that he’s on a list distributed by DCFS and he’ll get calls no matter what.

Mark was AMAZING!!! We tried for months on end to get our adoption finalized but never heard not once from our state appointed attorney.
We waited 4 months to hear from our attorney until someone told us about Mark, we decided to switch and try him.
With the whole Covid situation it slowed everything down to a screeching halt. Thankfully as soon as we switched to Mark he knew how to navigate the system to get our adoption finalized.
He was super communicative and we always knew where things stood. After waiting for 2 1/2 years and people telling us it would be another 1-1.5 yrs due to Covid, it took us a few months with Mark and everything got finalized. We couldn't thank him enough!! I called the office of Barbara May to inquire about a one time consultation. The secretary was incredibly rude. The whole conversation was infuriating. The secretary told me « let’s see first if you can afford our fees before anything. Then she told me we don’t have time for people like you who just seek advices » I was chocked. They charge 375 dollars for the first appointement and ask for $4000 before you even meet with them. They say they don’t have time to give people consultation, you have to choose them as long term attorney or they won’t give any advices on any matter. Where is humanity and kindness in all this? I never met Barbara but I know one thing her secretary sabotaged her work by being so hostile.

Barbara handled the litigation for my contested divorce that involved a lengthy, emotional custody battle. Mr. Hamilton changed our lives for the better. I had gone through divorce 4 years before without representation. I wound up moving to Orange County to be closer to my family. The marriage and settlement agreement gave my ex wife physical custody and me “reasonable visitation.” My ex wife decided that meant she could dictate visitation how she saw fit. As she remarried and had another baby, she decided she would only allow me to see my daughters once a year, told me I didn’t have a right to phone calls, and if I wanted the girls to visit me during the summers I could wait till they were 18.
I hired Mr. Hamilton to represent me and file a request I for order changing the custody arrangement. He negotiated with me ex wife’s attorney and represented me in court. I now have joint legal and joint physical custody. I get to drive up every other weekend to see them. They now will come down here half the summers and alternate holiday weeks. I was missing out on my daughters’ lives. Mr. Hamilton fought for me. My daughters are the most important part of my life. I couldn’t be happier, and I owe this all to Mr. Hamilton.
