I was involved in a really bad situation that would've cost me points on my license and a misdemeanor on my record. The court appointed me an Attorney who told me that the D.A. wasn't willing to negotiate and I should just accept having points on my license and a criminal offense on my record. I thought about it and told him " I'll think about it".. The next day I said a prayer and God told me " Get an Attorney, who isn't court appointed !!! ". I searched the internet and came across " The Law Office of Kenneth Mollins". After reading the awesome reviews , I gave them a call. I spoke with Tim and he assured me that he will keep fighting until I got the best deal available. He kept fighting for me until I walked away with an offer of no points on my license, a traffic ticket, and a reasonable amount of time to pay it. I highly recommend their Law Office because they are extremely knowledgeable, competent, helpful, affordable and they patiently address any questions or concerns you may have as a client. They will always be my go to Law Firm.

Mary is an attorney who cares, explains in detail and makes sure that you are comfortable with the next steps and decision making process. I called Sarah Gold's law firm to ask about forming a LLC in New York. I did some research prior to my call but was confused as heck and was not confident in dealing with the state. Ms. Gold walked me through the process, answered my questions, and told me her fee. I thought the fee was competitive, keeping in mind it included state fees and public notice fees. We communicated online, she had to search to see if my LLC name was not prohibited or duplicative. I also asked for her to set up a DBA and she did that. It was so obvious that she new what she was doing, a true expert professional . She did all the filing, advertising and DBA in a day and I had what I legally needed hours later. she emailed me copies of the application filing, receipts and most important my official LLC. I would use Sarah Gold without any hesitation and I highly recommend you do too.

I was not referred to Lance. I live 90 minutes away from his office and needed an attorney on Long Island. I chose Lance based on a few positive reviews and a frantic need for representation.
A complex divorce has had me working with him for almost two years. Amid a hectic schedule that all good divorce attorneys navigate , moments when the emotions of it all make you feel snubbed by the world, and even your attorney, Lance has helped me to create a case against my ex-wife that will likely result in the win I’ve longed for. If it doesn’t, it will have been of no fault to Lance. Together we crafted a motion that dissected my ex-wife’s false claims and lies. Over a year later, 8 adjournments and a continued emotional roller coaster I was able to see Lance on trial. His performance was no less than brilliant in every way possible. While my case is ongoing, his strategy made a fool of opposing counsel, and his intellect, instinct and confidence in front of the judge completely demolished the false narrative that was presented to the court by my ex. As a loving father this moment to fight back felt like life or death for me. As a client, it is hard to differentiate emotions from necessary strategy. It takes a pro who knows how to position your case in front of a judge to succeed. I trusted him and he surpassed my expectations.
The best way to work with Lance is to ask what he needs from you, and how that information needs to be disseminated to him. Your efforts will make the difference. Throughout this wild ride, Lance will be fast to return text and emails, and slow at time. This is common for every attorney brave enough to take on the insanity of divorce. Your time will come when you feel completed loved by Lance. Be patient. Your opinions will be heard. You’ll like be put in your place a few times, but tensions are high in battle. True Leaders keep the novices in line. You’ll need thick skin everywhere you turn while in a divorce battle.
Beyond legal, and after significant time spent with Lance, at his office and even at his home, I also leaned he is a very good father and loving husband. His humanity has mattered to me. It should to you.

Warning to women seeking custody and protection from abusive partners: do not choose Nate Van Loon. He will provide promises up front, claim to be your champion and pretend to have a thought-out plan of action to investigate your spouse financially, reveal spending patterns, "secure what's yours," get them to move out, and protect your kids. Except none of that happened in reality. Multiple times, I would go as long as 7 weeks without a return email, call, or response from him in any way. He strung my case out for longer than necessary - telling me I would get my chance to tell my story at the next court hearing and it never came. Had I been educated as a client, (who never stopped asking questions about what to expect and how to prepare) I likely would have made different decisions entirely. Nate deliberately kept me in the dark and had no problem cashing my check for the trial he showed up for and sold out from under me by telling the referee the reason for my divorce was a lack of being heard by my spouse and not the fact that I had police reports, evidence of physical violence and a pattern of erratic behavior from alcohol use. None of it was considered because Nate didn't care to advocate for me. Worst decision I ever made. Feb - Dec 2024.

Good morning, I found attorney Nathan Van Loon online. He assisted me with child support and my divorce. Mr.Van Loon respected my privacy and explained the whole process from beginning to the end. Great Law Firm! I was leary at first and ended up reading the reviews and was judging the law firm based off other people's reviews and exprience but got the total opposite services. Maybe it's particular attorneys but A. Jazembak was assigned to me. Mr. Jazembak has great communication and wants to know precisely information to accurately get the results his clients want.
Honestly, if you want a good defense, be ready to have everything documented and ready to present to them EVERYTHING. They aren't mind readers so I think the negatives reviews came from clients thinking that they had to only give the basic information and assumed because it's a law firm they had the ability to make a good case on basic information. If you're putting in effort, they will 100% fight for there clients. The paralegal has excellent communication C. Barrett and the account keeps track of all funds and send an itemized bill accurately H. Myers. Give them a try, ypu wont be disappointed!!

Greg Salant was straightforward beginning with the consultation through what was a very long and trying negotiation. I'm glad that he was recommended to me, and that I hired him. Innocent, dismissed, withdrawn, are what you want to hear throughout your case. Accusations are upsetting, you’re angry, you want to get up and fight. That’s your Attorney’s job, to reassure you that we’ll get to the bottom of this. Have patience, be calm and cool, understand the process.
I couldn’t have asked for a better Attorney to represent me than Ashleigh Russell.
Ashleigh was responsive to me throughout the entire case, even before and after court hours. She’s not just some ghosting lawyer with a mountain of cases that you think you’re doing all the work for and takes days or weeks to get an answer from.

My experience here was horrible willing to take your money but don’t put in no work I had Brian first for my first court date then he got drop from me and I got Catherine the worst ever she showed no care for what I was going through due to the fact of me trying to get my son back home in Connecticut. It’s like she was working against me with the other party. I would email her and she takes for ever to respond I won’t get a respond until the next day if so. Then she try to tell me oh I should be glad dad didn’t put me on child support for my son because dad have temporary residential custody mean while dad is on child support and never paid a dollar since be been on child support now tell me how that make sense?. The front desk lady got upset with me when I wanted to change her and get somebody else who would actually care about my situation asking why I wanna change Cathrine as if they doing me a free job like I’m not paying these people my hard working money. Cathrine should no compassion to how I feel as a mother about my situation regarding my child. would I recommend anybody to this law firm HELL NOOOOOO!

update: My insurance paid for the attorney's time (you are making it seem like it was a free consultation) for this services. I paid my insurance with my money. Yes, indeed, this is not a free service but a paid consultation. It seems the attorney hung up on me rather than the call being disconnected because I called back, emailed, and texted the office afterward, but nobody responded, apologized, or at least returned my call. His last words before the call ended—or was disconnected, based on his own words—were that "his time is valuable." Such an unprofessional and stuck-up attitude. I was never informed beforehand that I only had 45 minutes to talk.
I believe I talked to Ron Cook. We had an appointment at 4 PM today, and while he was helpful in sending the information, he seemed annoyed when I asked questions. He expects me to read everything on my own and doesn’t want to provide further explanations when I asked him to give me a simple breakdown of how things work again because I was a little confused, and he did not want to provide all the information. He is getting payed to explain things, not to dismiss our concerns. He even mentioned that his time is valuable, but isn’t that exactly why he is getting paid—for his time and expertise? By the end of the conversation he hung up the phone, it felt unprofessional.
This experience reinforces my decision to go to law school. There’s clearly an opportunity in the market for professionals who know how to communicate effectively and treat clients with respect, no matter where they come from or what questions they ask. So far, 7 out of 10 attorneys seem to be quite stuck-up simply for having a JD and whatever piece of paper they get from the government. similar to medical doctors.

If you never had the "pleasure" of suddenly being served Divorce papers and you find yourself surprised, a bit lost, maybe locked out of your house, confused, in understandable shock, suddenly without money and blind-sided, I strongly recommend you go to M Kalil as soon as possible. He is very experienced and often has helped first-timers. Kalil is pragmatic and logical formost, saves you from MUCH extraneous nonsense by getting to the point and helping one navigate an impossible situation efficiently and to your benefit. The initial consultation is without charge but, better still, his experience and long-standing relationships with other lawyers and judges and local Courts makes your retainer fee go farther by avoiding legal dead ends and wasteful spending. Every dollar invested in his office saves you two more by avoiding unnecessary, wasteful motions and he is mission-focused on your best ultimate outcome. He will not hold your hand or wipe your tears (trust me, you don't want that kind of lawyer), but he will adopt your case in more of a feduciary sense with your solvency and goals as his goals. If you wish simply to resolve your legal Divorce issues and end up in the best position, use him. He's really good at it. His staff is experienced and has been working for him many years (ESPECIALLY Anne), his staff is top notch. If you are understandably sad or shook, ask him to recommend a therapist maybe, but if you wish simply to get your best outcome financially without nonsense or false leads, get him on your team soonest, please. In my experience, Kalil is an expert on mitigation and obtaining the best result for you personally in an impossible, terrible situation. Divorce produces NO winners, ever, but Kalil will find your path to resolution and place you in the least-bad situation for your benefit, blaze a path for you to stay solvent and hasten your best outcome so you can rebuild your life well. Again, one dollar spent with Kalil saves you many more by avoiding needless pitfalls and costly dead-ends with less experienced other local lawyers - I actually DID check them all out.
